I Object!

Actor: Lucky Blue Smith

Wedding day. This was also known as the worst day of Aries', Pisces', Libra's, and Virgo's lives. Plus, Gemini and Aquarius, of course, but for totally different reasons.

Libra was in her room with Taurus and Cancer, who was there in a desperate attempt for help, as they tried to pull the corset tight. Libra wasn't slim, but it was tradition that the corset be unbreathable until after the ceremonies. Besides, she got bloated from stress eating. We've all been there, don't deny it. Taurus pulled at one side, while Cancer had the other. There was a lot of left over string that pulled it shut, and they knew the hard part would be tying it.

And boy, were they wrong.

Tying it was easy. Untying themselves was not.

"Fuck," Taurus mumbled, trying to untie herself. "A little help?"

Cancer had string tied up in her hair. She hissed in pain. "I'm a little tied up at the moment."

Taurus sighed and tried to wriggled her leg out. "Can we send her back to Solis?"

"No, Taurus," said Libra in a strained voice. "Cancer is our friend. Friends make puns and bad jokes."

"The only bad joke I know is Sagittarius," Taurus countered, finally freeing herself. She went on to get the string out of Cancer's hair.

"Aren't you guys dating?" Cancer asked, eyeing the nearby scissors. She prayed she wouldn't need to cut her hair.

"Not yet," Taurus explained, "but wait until the end of this wedding. That moron will love me."

"I don't think insulting him is an effective way of flirting," Libra said, stifling a laugh.

"Says the girl in an arranged marriage," Taurus roasted her. Cancer cackled. Taurus sucked in. "We have to cut it."

"We cannot cut my hair," Cancer warned. "That cannot happen to me."

"I'm sorry it had to be this way," Taurus said. A scream ran through the castle. Hair fell to the floor. The deed was done.

Libra snorted. "That was a slight overreaction."

"Gah, I hope Scorpio likes it. Is it bad? It's so short," Cancer said miserably, grasping it tightly in her hands.

"You look fine," Taurus told her. "Besides, what does Scorpio's opinion matter? You're just her lady-in-waiting, right?"

Cancer stayed quiet. Taurus didn't question it, but Libra knew her secret. Her gut feeling told her that she was right. Scorpio finally got the vagina to ask Cancer out.

....honestly Libra breaks the fourth wall too much it may become problematic.

"Don't worry, I won't be problematic," Libra says, looking into space.

Taurus stared at her. "What?"

Libra blinked and snapped back to reality. "Hm? Oh, nothing. How about I get my gown on?"

Cancer furrowed her eyebrows and scanned the room for anyone else. She shook her head in disbelief. "Um, okay. Sure."

Taurus and Cancer pulled out a long dress, with a long cape at the bottom. It was an off-White, with a floral lace design and long lace sleeves. The two of them helped her struggle to get it on. After the finally got Libra's head through it, they gasped. She was stunning. Except for the resting bitch face she was wearing.

"Chin up. You may not want to get married, but you can still slay while doing it," Taurus told her, as she fixed her hair a bit. "Let's go, we've got a hair dresser appointment."

Cancer and Taurus left... Libra, wait. Stop walking. I know you can hear me, you little shit.

Libra stopped and squinted at the sky. "I'll be a sec," she told her sister and friend. She looked up at me. "What do you want? You can't interfere."

There's a lot of shit that's about to go down. I'm not totally sure what because it's unwritten, but I've got a general idea. A few things you need to have done: Spy on your father, resist marrying Pisces. This plot line has to work out. If it does, congrats, I won't kill you off.

"You okay, Libs?" Taurus asked, going back for her sister.

Libra nodded at the sky. "Yeah. We've gotta stop to see Sagittarius."

"Why?" Taurus asked, looking where Libra was.

"I've got a hunch," Libra explained.

"Is that who you were talking to?" Cancer asked, catching up with the duo. "A hunch?

"I was talking to the voices in my head," Libra said quietly. "They're telling me to be afraid."

"Why?" Cancer asked, feeling a shiver go down her spine.

The three of them were crowded together in a huddle. It was an unusually warm day, but for some reason they all felt a little too cold.

"I don't know yet," Libra said darkly. "But something's coming. Something big."

Sagittarius was getting his best tux on. He successfully managed to keep Taurus date free. Now, he had to woo her. He slicked back his hair with some gel, and checked his skin for any pimples. That's when he heard a knock at the door.

Sagittarius groaned. Who in this castle would want to see him? Leo and Capricorn had finally left with their bickering. Libra, Taurus, and Cancer had a hair appointment. So who could it be? Sagittarius begrudgingly opened the door. He saw Libra, in her wedding dress, and Cancer and Taurus in their bridesmaid uniforms.

"Don't you guys have literally anywhere else to be?" Sagittarius asked them, covering his eyes. "Like a hair appointment?"

"First of all, this is important," Taurus started to say, "Second of all, why are you covering your eyes?"

"Isn't it bad luck to see the bride before the wedding?" asked Sagittarius.

Taurus smirked. "That's only if you're the groom, dumbass."

Sagittarius took his hand away from his face and let out a weak laugh. "Whoops? But seriously, why are you here?"

Libra peered around to make sure they were alone. She dragged the girls into Sagittarius' room and closed the door, holding her body weight against it. Sagittarius looked at the other girls, wondering if they had any idea what was happening.

"We need you to spy on my dad," Libra said.

"What? Why?" Sagittarius asked, his mouth agape. "I know you don't wanna get married, but this is insane."

"The voices in her head have told her to be afraid," Taurus explained sarcastically. "But i wouldn't put it past dear-ol'-step-dad to pull something."

"But we have a date," Sagittarius stammered, obviously annoyed.

"C'mon, you didn't actually want to do that," Taurus reminded him. "You were just afraid of going alone."

"I did not scare off any guy in your general vicinity just for this not to happen," Sagittarius groaned.

"Wait... did you ask me out because you actually like me?" Taurus asked, a smirk playing on her lips.

"Yes," Sagittarius stated, his face going red. "But if you want, I can spy for you."

"That's great, Sag," Libra thanked him. "You and Taurus can reschedule for when I marry Virgo."

"You can't just decide to marry someone without their consent," Cancer reminded her. "You do know that, right?"

"Of course," Libra muttered. "I guess they can reschedule for yours and Scorpio's wedding."

"Damn you, Libra," Cancer mumbled as her face turned as red as Taurus' hair.

"Sorry, but the voices in my head are very informative," Libra smiled.

Cancer rolled her eyes and changed the subject. "Sag, we need you for this. We need you to get us any and all information before Pisces and Libra marry."

Sagittarius nodded. "I'll do it. And, save me a dance Taurus, would ya?"

Taurus gave him a chuckle. "If nobody else picks me up."

Libra glanced at the clock on the wall. "We've got to be going. If I'm any later for my hair appointment, people will be suspicious."

"Good luck, Sagittarius," Cancer said, as the three girls slipped out the door.

Sagittarius watched the door close. "Thanks, I'll need it."

---------------------------------------------------------------

Pisces was trying to tie a tie, and Miserably failing. He was getting married today. Worst of all, he just wanted to be Aries' boyfriend. For some reason, his love life is just a constant smack on the face. When he's in love with Gemini, it's not mutual. When he's forced to marry Libra, they both just want to be friends. The worst thing is when the feeling is mutual but a girl who you don't want to marry and who doesn't want to marry you gets in the way.

Fuck Fate.

Pisces heard a knock on his door. It was Aries. He was all dressed up in his tux, and his tie read, 'Number One Best man.' He had a dorky smile on his face.

"You look hot as hell," Aries commented, eyeing Pisces. "But your tie is more screwed up than this wedding. Let me fix it."

As Aries fiddled with Pisces' tie, Pisces groaned and replied, "Nothing can be as messed up as this."

"I'm sure there's something. Listen, I'll be with you the whole time. Do you trust me?" Aries asked him.

"Yes."

Aries shook his head. "Wrong answer. You can't trust me in case I commit identity thief and become Libra in order to marry you."

"Y'know, it's your fault I'm screwed up. You dragged me into your insane friend group," Pisces hissed.

"I'm telling Gemini you said that," Aries snickered, giving him a peck on the cheek.

"What was that for?" Pisces asked, blushing.

"A goodbye kiss. When Gem finds out you called her insane, you're dead," Aries reminded him, chuckling. "Don't worry. I'm sure she'll give you three days notice or something."

"Let her come. It's better than marrying to a girl who's seen my bath photos from when I was a baby," Pisces groaned. "She's been in some of them."

"It'll work out," Aries said. "Besides, I'm hoping the wedding flops. I want all the leftover baked goods."

"Wow, so the fact that I'd be single won't matter?" Pisces asked.

"You can get fat with me, and old, if you'd like," Aries smirked.

"You are such a dork."

------------------------------------------------------------

Gemini rushed around the bakery.  She was certainly not dressed for a wedding. Her hair was a mess, she had bags under her eyes, and worst of all, her dress had been destroyed. Aquarius had thought it was a towel and used it to mop up spilled batter. Scorpio was bringing her another hand-me-down.

"Do we have the cupcakes? The brownies? The cake? The pies? The other brownies?" Gemini went over the checklist, getting hums from Aquarius each time as he packed up the carriage. Scorpio was waiting for them at the front of the vehicle. Virgo was temporarily working for Gemini in order to get into the wedding to see Libra.

The plan was for Virgo to ride in the back with Aquarius and the food while Scorpio got Gemini ready in the front. That is, if Gemini would finally realize she remembered everything.

"Gem, we've been over this eight times already," Aquarius reminded her. "I think we're good."

"I know, I'm just nervous," Gemini said, rubbing her eyes.

"At least you're not Virgo, who is sobbing in the corner," Aquarius snorted.

"Not yet," Gemini said. "Is everything packed up?"

"Has been for the last ten minutes," Aquarius informed her.

"Then let's go," Gemini decided. "I'll be upfront if you need anything. You look great."

Aquarius was wearing a nice pink suit, the same one he wore to his sister's coronation. He recalled that Libra liked it, and wanted to be supportive. "You will too, once my sister fixes you up."

"Thanks," Gemini said, giving him a peck on the cheek. "Be safe."

"Always," Aquarius said, climbing into the back.

"He's a lying bastard," Gemini mumbled. "He always touches a hot plate without thinking."

Gemini climbed into the front seat to see Scorpio, who wore a yellow dress that suited the wedding occasion quite well. She wore gloves that signified her status. Gemini wasn't going to lie, Scorpio was terrifying. She never seemed too pleased that her brother had fallen for the baker.

"Hey, here's the dress. It used to be Cancer's, but she doesn't fit in it anymore," Scorpio explained. "You look awful. What happened?"

"I was up all night," Gemini explained. "I want everything to be perfect. Since they don't want to get married, I figured the least I could do was bring them great food."

"That's kind of you. Hurry up and get dressed, before we hit a bump in the road," Scorpio ordered.

Gemini nodded and started to pull the dress on. She carefully removed her clothes while under it, all in five minutes. She shoved her clothes in a a bag and grinned. "All done."

"That was fast," Scorpio noticed.

"I picked up a few tricks," Gemini said and gave a shrug. An awkward silence fell over them.

"So, are you in high school?" Scorpio asked.

Gemini pursed her lips. "I'm a dropout, actually."

"Why?" Scorpio asked before she could stop herself.

"Oh, um, after my dad died someone needed to take care of the family business," Gemini explained. "Besides, someone needed to look after Jaden."

Scorpio nodded and they sat in an awkward silence ever since.

Meanwhile, Aquarius was trying to console Virgo over the fact that he is seeing his crush marry someone else. Virgo had been sobbing the entire time. Aquarius wasn't sure about how to deal with it.

"Listen, maybe they won't go through with it,"  Aquarius consoled him.

"It's called a forced marriage for a reason, Aqua," Virgo snapped. "What if I object to it?"

"Then you'll be put in jail," Aquarius attempted to reason.

"Maybe it'll win over her heart..." Virgo trailed off, obviously ignoring any and all reason.

"Something tells me that it won't be an Aqua-disaster that ruins everything," Aquarius muttered.

----------------------------------------------

The wedding should had started by then, but it didn't. Libra refused to start without Sagittarius, and when that failed, Taurus threw a fake tantrum about being stood up. Virgo would not stop staring at Libra, who in turn, could not stop staring at him. Pisces was resisting the urge to kiss Aries, who was trying not to burst out in tears. Gemini, who was still tired as hell, had fallen asleep on Aquarius' shoulder. Scorpio and Cancer were talking, trying to make sense of the situation. Capricorn and Leo guarded the door, but they're not important until next chapter. Cepheus finally had enough.

"The wedding is starting in ten minutes, whether or not that general of mine shows up," Cepheus roared, causing the whole room to be silent.

Aquarius shook Gemini awake as the bridal march started. Libra walked as slowly as she could down the aisle, with her grandfather giving her away. She moved like molasses: slow, but moving nonetheless. Taurus prayed to a god she wasn't sure she believed in. Now would be a great time for Sagittarius to burst in.

Libra took a shaky breath as she walked up to Pisces. He looked more terrified than her, and that was saying something. The priest went on about the usual wedding things, although Libra tuned out until the vows.

"Pisces, I love you so much." Libra new she had to make it long. Drag it out. "You have always been such a great friend, and I'm sure you'll make a great husband. I remember when we first met. Our parents scheduled us a play-date. We ran around the castle grounds. We played hide and seek in this very room. You have been my longest friend. You and your sister both. And I hope that we can honor her today, as much as we honor us. Princess Nebula was there with us from the start, and it's a shame she won't be with us until the end."

Libra was speaking slowly, as if she meant every word she said, even though she meant none of them. She could have gone on, but when she paused for breath, the priest moved on to Pisces' vows.

"We've been through a lot together, haven't we?" Pisces asked her, earning a chuckle from select audience members. "We have always been there for each other, and I'm glad we'll continue to be there for each other. We can make peace between our countries, and honor my sister, Nebula, while doing it."

Pisces was quick and fidgety. Libra silently cursed him for it.

"Now does anyone object to the joining of these two people?" asked the priest.

"I object!" Virgo said, standing up. "Libra, I have a major crush on you. You don't deserve to be with someone you don't love. I can't promise I can be that someone, but I will support you when you find whoever it is."

"I object too!" Aries joined in, from beside Pisces. "I'm too gay for you, man."

"Same here!" Taurus yelled. "You guys deserve to be with someone you love."

"Me also!" Gemini shouted and stood up. "My baking is for love, not forced awkwardness. Pisces and Libra deserve to be happy."

Aquarius stood up beside her. "Yeah!"

"You can't dictate who they love," Cancer agreed. Scorpio got up and joined in. Taurus thanked whatever god she prayed to.

Cepheus growled under his breath. "Arrest any and all of them who aren't royal."

Leo, Capricorn, and their guards started to take each of them. Cancer and Aries, went peacefully, as if accepting it. Virgo struggled and yelled for nobody in particular. Gemini bit Capricorn. Libra and Pisces stood in horror as their friends were taken from them and there was nothing they could do.
