Roses pov

Since this was my first date I didn't know what to do. I go through my wardrobe and throw out the clothes that I won't be wearing onto the bed. I have no clothes! I groan and pick out the best looking dress that was bought by Octavian.

I pull out my flats because I just don't do heals. I turn the shower on and step in. I wash my hair and once I'm finished I start to blow dry my hair. Then I flat iron it. I change into my dress that went past my legs. It fitted nice and was comfortable.

I thought for a while and changed my mind about wearing flats. I put on my black heels. I look in the in the mirror and go simple with just eyeliner, mascara, and lip gloss.

I head out of the room and wait down stairs for Octavian. He told me to wait until he was finished with his business work. I smiled really hard knowing this was going to be my first date ever.

I was really excited. I sat in the living room and when ten minutes past I was starting to become a little worried. What if he forgot? I sat there and started to hum a song that's been stuck on my mind.

I look at my watch and about twenty minutes had past. Maybe I'm early? I hear someone coming down the stairs and my hopes go high. To bad for me it was just some member.

I waited and waited and there was still no sign of Octavian. I've been sitting here for at least two hours. I take off my heels and stand up. I walk pass his office and stop. There he is again with that same girl. They are both halfway naked and I just gulp.

I walk towards the room and take off. I throw my heels and take off my dress. I slip on t shirt, a jacket, and some jeans. I put on some boots. I hurriedly walk pass his office and down the stairs. I walk out the door and slammed the door loud.

This was the last time I was going to let him hurt me. For starters I was going to pay him back by stealing one of his fancy cars. I grabbed the keys while walking out of the house. I slide into the drivers side and start the car.

I wasn't to good at driving but I just needed to leave these bloodsuckers. I grabbed my phone and dialed in Anna's number which I got from Octavian. When she answered I was relieved. "I need you right now Ann"

"Rose?" I chuckle a little but it's a sad one. "Yeah it's me. I left the palace, Octavian has been cheating on me and I can't take it anymore."

"Come to my place Rose. I'll text you the address."I say ok and she texts me. I follow my google map and feel relived once the palace is out of my view.

I spoke to soon. One of Octavian's fancy car was behind me and he was yelling something out of the window. I kept my eye on the road. I press my foot on the gas and the car goes faster. I look down and text Anna that Octavian was chasing me and it would be some time till I get to her place.

I was taught not to text and drive but I had too. I went faster when he was on my tail I looked back I heard him screaming I looked forward and the car went tumbling down a steep hill. I screamed as branches and leaves hit me.

My head hit the steering wheel and for a moment I lost conscious. It has seemed as the car kept on turning and turning. All I could hear was Octavian screams and my groans. Once the car stopped I looked at my surroundings. I could barely breathe and my leg was jammed in the car.

I cried harder then I was before when all the pain hit me. I reached for my phone with shaky hands and texted Anna that I loved her and didn't think I would make it. Then my phone died.

I looked again and Octavian was in front of the car. "My baby!" He screamed as he touched the car. Then he looked at me. Then he looked back at the car. "Why do you have my car?!" That's all I could make before everything was a big blur.

I wake in the hospital. I had a cast on my leg, scratches all over me and a pillow under me
So I was propped up. Octavian was sleep in the other chair. When I breathed in it was like a heavy rock was on my chest it was so hard to breathe.

My ribs hurt like hell. I moved a little and whimpered. That's when Octavian woke up and rushed towards me. He put his hands around my face and smiled. "Your awake!" I frown at him and he sighs. "You were out for a month now.

I blink twice and sigh. I looked over to my left to see Anna. She was sleeping soundly. "She's been here for the whole month. I give him a small smile then I freeze. He was the whole reason to why I was in the situation.

"Why did you try leaving anyways?" Tears slip down my cheeks. "You... left me... waiting for hours. We were supposed to... go on our date. Then I gave up and on my way to the room I seen you and that same girl. So I wanted to leave. I had...enough."

His eyes widen. "Im sorry Rose. I would leave myself too." I looked down at my pale hands and sighed. He lifted me up and slid onto the bed. He had me on top of him and he stroked my hair.

I was tense the whole time. I couldn't forgive his sorry ass just now. I needed him to work for it. Even if it meant bringing my attitude out or being a total scaredy cat and not letting him touch me period. I would have to think over this.
