Roses pov

I've been healing during the last two weeks. During that time Octavian stayed away telling me my blood was too tempting even though he loved me.

Right now me and Anna sit in the kitchen eating some cereal. "Guess what I think I have a crush on someone." She giggles like a little kid while smiling.

"Who?" " His name is Colton and he helps out Octavian when he's busy. We ate dinner together last night", she squeals.

I let out a small giggle and put my bowl in the sink running water on it. Hands go on each of my shoulders and I Yelp when I'm turned around.

"Octavian?! I mean majesty." He chuckles while picking me up twirling me around. He kisses me on the lips and puts me down.

"How's my princess doing?" I chuckles at him while nodding. "I'm doing fine majesty." "Rose stop calling me majesty, it's Octavian to you." I nod my head.

"What have you been up to?" I asked wanting to know. "Well I had lots of meetings about my palace and I just wanted to stay away from you. I love you so damn much but your blood is hard not to want."

I nod my head understanding. He picks me up and make sure he doesn't injure one of my wounds again. I say again because a week ago he picked me up totally forgetting about my wounds opening some up.

"Let's get you to the doctors office. He needs to check on your back." "You know I can walk?" He chuckles while nodding. "I just think it's adorable holding you", he smirks. I giggle at him. "Please put me down I can walk really." "Pwease", he pokes his lips out and gives me the puppy eyes. How can I say no to that?

"Fine", I sigh. He chuckles while carrying me to the office.

The doctor said I was doing great. The wounds were healing correctly and that he's glad that I didn't get beat to the point to death.

Me and Octavian walk back when he smiles. "I have an idea." I raise and eyebrow. "How about we go out for ice cream."

"In front of everyone? Are you trying to get me killed again?!" He shakes his head. "I know an ice cream place that's private. It's for royalty only besides I'm the only one who goes there and I order all the others to stay out."

He grabs my hand leading me to the garage. "Pick one." I stare in awe at all the cats in the garage. "Are these all yours?" He nods his head. Why would a some man need over ten cars?

"I want to ride in the silver one", I point to the direction it was in. "Decent choice." I follow him to the car and he opens my door. I get it and he closes the door walking to the other side.

The car ride was silent not an awkward one but a peaceful one. We made it to the ice cream shop and we both get out. He grabs my hand and walks me to the shop. "Hello majesty." A nice gentleman says.

"What would you like?" "Hmmm I'll have cookies and cream." He looks at me giving me a single to talk. "I'll have plain vanilla ice cream."

The man goes to make it but when he comes back Octavian hands him the twenty dollar bill. "No, no majesty its on us." He nods stuffing the money back in his pocket. I say a quick thank you as he hands is the ice cream.

We walk to a table and sit down. "Hey Octavian you know a lot about me how come I don't know anything about your life?"

He sighs and nods. "It's a difficult and long story to tell." I shrug my shoulders, "I have all day."

He groans and sighs. "Fine I guess I can tell you a few things."

"Ok you can begin."

"My mother and father were killed in an war between the vampire hunters and vampires."

I gulp knowing this story will not be a pretty one.

Ok so sadly I have school tmrw and I should be getting ready for bed lol. But here's a quick update I like to call a filler. The next chapter will be about Octavian's life and why he's so private.

Also each chapter will have a pic of Octavian and Rose depending on whose pov it starts in. There will also be quotes. Just wanting to try something new.😊
