"Hey..." Melody shook Kokichi awake. "You seemed like you were having a bad night last night."
Kokichi suddenly remembered. "I had a dream that my parents found out, that I ran away."
"Oh, well I'll leave you alone then, I am going to go downstairs to chat to some people." She left the room and Kokichi let out a tear.
"Do they really want to, kill me?" He couldn't bear the thought.
Meanwhile Melody was talking to some of the other children when she remembered something.
"I need to tell you something about Kokichi, while he isn't down here." Melody explained exactly what he had told her a few minutes ago. What she didn't know, was that what Kokichi had said, was really going to happen.

In Tokyo.
"Hello? I heard your daughter also went missing, want us to help you? Our son went missing as well."
"Ah yes, you see I think they worked together, because on my daughters phone before she left she had someone called Kokichi in her contacts. I'm assuming this is your son?"
"Yes, that failed abortion is indeed our 'son'."
"Melody was a mistake as well, and we hated her."
"I have an idea."
"What is it?"
Back at the shelter.
The day went by pretty slowly, with Kokichi practising lying as Melody being sociable. Then Kokichi saw something he never would think he would see again.

"Melody!" He ran down to the common room. "My...parents. Are here with another couple! And the worst thing is that they HAVE GUNS!"
Melody's look of joy suddenly turned to fear. She quickly told a volunteer and everyone grabbed their things and went into the basement.
Kokichi and Melody hugged each other. I didn't want it to come this. Kokichi felt a tear in his eyes. Then he decided to test his lying.
"Everyone! When the people come in, stay silent and let me and Melody speak." Kokichi places a chair over the door. "If we don't make it, I'm sorry for bringing you all into this."
"I apologise as well, it's both of our parents wanting us back. And they will do anything to get it."

As everyone had a hug, the door bust open, and standing there was Kokichi's and Melody's parents, holding guns and had knives around their belts.
They didn't hesitate to shoot, but thankfully missed. Kokichi decided to try and disarm them, but Melody hauled him back.
"That's exactly what they want, let them roam free. They don't even know we are here, as far as they know it's everyone apart from us." She whispered.
"MELODY AND KOKICHI, WE KNOW YOU ARE THERE, COME OUT BEFORE WE END EVERYONES LIVES."
"Too late!" Bang.
Kokichi looked to where the bullet went, straight into Melody.
"You're evil!" Kokichi lunges at the group. "Why would you do such a thing? Killing your own daughter!"
"Puhuhu. You are stupid." His dad slapped Kokichi in the cheek.
"Lame. Why don't you just end it?"
"Because I had something to live for, unlike you peasants who couldn't even afford the house rent. Nishishishishi~" Kokichi smiled. "I'd hate to see you lose your house."
"Ugh! That idiot!"
"Anyway, you don't even have any food, you stole it off the neighbours."
This kept on going until the police showed up, taking away the group.
"Was all... this.. stuff...true?" Melody coughed, her strength going away.
"It was all a lie, because I'm a liar." Kokichi placed his hand on Melody's arm. "I did this because I knew everyone would believe me here." He could feel a tear coming down his eyes. "Thank you Melody, for everything."
Her body went cold.
