Location: Mt. Coronet, Sinnoh (during winter)

Time: 3:30 am 

Mt. Coronet... a harsh and hostile environment rivaled only by Mt. Silver that divides the regions Kanto and Johto. Only the strongest and most adaptable can live in these conditions but they also experience the same threat. The cold is the ultimate predator and it doesn't care for anything. It's the undisputed ruler of these lands. Hidden with in these mountains lays a secret that not many know about. 

On top of one of the many rock formations covered in snow was a ominous figure in black with blue highlights going around the cloak. Underneath the figure is seen wearing a gray sweat shirt and dark blue jeans with light brown boots. Almost everything can be seen but its face remains hidden behind a white mask.

As a chilling breeze goes through the formations a warm breath can be seen drifting in the wind until it eventually vanishes never to be seen again just like the life he once had before doing this. 

???: How much longer do I have to wait out here Nanu? 

Nanu: Just a little more kid.

???: Thats what you said the last time I asked old man!

Nanu: ...So?

???: Its been hours and nothing is happening. I'm cold, hungry, and tired. Most importantly I'm hungry. 

Nanu: Not my fault kid. You forgot your  jacket at base and not to mention you couldn't sleep for crap because you were to excited for the mission. Also what happened to the rations we gave you for this mission.

???: At them on the way here and to be honest didn't taste good. It was all dry and crumbly. Note to self don't eat food that says Dehydrated on the package.

Nanu: Thats because you were supposed to add water to it! It's in the name damn it! 

???: Oh .... Can we just do this tomor-

Nanu: shut up somethings coming.

???: what cant hear you over the loud jet engine noise.

Nanu: Thats your que kid. *breaks connection*

???: Hello?... Rude didn't even say goodbye.... Still hungry

The silhouette of a large ship the size of a wailord can be seen flying over the area. The figure gets up from his fixed position and begins chasing after the airship. 

After a few minutes of chasing after the slow moving ship through snow covered terrain the figure eventually finds what he had been looking for for years. A hidden secret base built into the mountain side. As the massive ship descends toward the landing doc its cloaking goes away and reveals the ship in all of its glory. 

???: Jackpot. 

While looking at the base the figure reaches his hand to his head and starts to speak into a hidden earpiece under the hooded cloak. 

???: Come in base. This is agent Corvus, I've found the outpost.

???: Well done Corvus now proceed with caution. We still have that meeting at 12:00 after this.

Corvus: Oh come on Ana, I've already sat out here in the cold for 4 hours with no food what makes you think I want to sit in the middle of a meeting and listen to Scott talk about business for 2 hours?

Anabel: How about this, after you're done we go and get something to eat before the meeting. Sound good?

Corvus: Fine but I pick the restaurant this time, last time you picked I ended up burning my mouth.

Anabel: That's because you put tomato berry hot sauce on your burger.

Corvus: That was tomato berry sauce? Why didn't you tell me?!

Anabel: Just wanted to see your reaction and it was worth it.

Corvus: You are so mean.

Anabel: Yet you still hang out with me.

Corvus: what ever... I've found an opening and going in now. Wish me luck.

Anabel: Just be careful Ash.

Ash: Careful is my middle name.

Anabel: You're worse than Nolan.

Ash: What?

Anabel: Good luck

Anabel then hangs up and Ash takes out his earpiece and enters the secret base. While walking through the base Ash encounters a few guards but dispatches them easily. A few minutes later he finds a large steel door that he believes his target is behind. Ash then calls forth his Greninja that he reunited with a few years ago.

Ash: ready partner?

Greninja: Gren

Ash: 1,2, 3!

Greninja then blasts through the door while also taking the guards down with it. As the smoke clears from the intense blast Ash and Greninja see a woman with gray-silver hair leaning on what appears to be a control panel with a smirk present on her face. She turns to Ash and her smirk grows even more. 

???: Took you long enough to find me. Couldn't you at least knock before entering its very rude to blast down ones door Corvus or should I say .... Ash Ketchum.

Ash: How do you know my name J?! 

Hunter J: First of all you barely changed over the years aside from growing a few inches you still have that annoying face. Also when you're trying to stay hidden maybe take off your badge. Dead give away for a soon to be dead man.

Ash: 'Shoot knew I was forgetting something else.' 

Hunter J: Now what do I owe the pleasure of you breaking into my base just to die?

Ash: Nope you are under arrest for illegal poaching and for what you've done to me in the past. 

Hunter J: Well then enough talk lets just get this over with. Drapion front and center!

Ash: Lets do this Greninja.

Timeskip because I don't do well with battles

After a long battle that lasted for over 5 minutes Greninja was the last one standing while drapion was on the ground unconscious with lots of marks all over its body. 

Ash: Its over J now come peacefully or I'll have to use force.

Instead of saying a word J starts to laugh uncontrollably like a mad woman. This confuses Ash but then J pulls out a button and presses it which causes the room to glow red.

Intercom: Warning building will self destruct in 10 minutes. Evacuate to a safe location now.

Having little time to secure the situation Ash knocks out J with a swift kick to the head. He then slings her over his shoulder and begins to rush out of the building as fast as he could. While running down the halls with greninja at his side, Ash notices a room off to the side and enters it with curiosity. What he finds shocks him to his core. 

Lining the walls of the room were pokemon petrified as stone in cases but that's not what shocked him. On the table were a pair of unhatched eggs. Acting fast he calls out Hoopa and tells him to teleport all of the pokemon out of the building before it explodes.

Hoopa: Ashkan can count on Hoopa! 

When all was said and done Ash, greninja and hoopa enter the ring and come out on the other side where they can still see the base in the distance. Ash gets a call on his communicator and takes the call.

Ash: Corvus here mission accomplished no damage done and no casualties.

Nanu: Good work kid.

EXPLOSION

Anabel: what was that?

Ash:... Ummm scratch that.

Anabel&Nanu: What did you do now?

Ash: Building may have exploded...

Anabel: And?

Ash: There may have been a few grunts left inside.

Ash looks up as he hears screaming coming from the sky but also sees what appears to be a star in the back ground.

Ash: Oh wait there they are... AND ITS GOOD!

Nanu is laughing on the other side as he hears this while Anabel just sighs.

Anabel: I'll go fill out the report, anything else Ash?

Ash: Nothing else aside from a few pokemon and two eggs I found in the back.

Anabel: What did you say?

Ash: GGRRR Your Breaking up GRR. 

Anabel: You are so immature. 

Ash: Nope *Hangs up* I'm just me.

Screen fades to black

Hey guys lucario-fighter19 here with a brand new story. Just wanted to let you know this is my new story from the old one. Updates will be slow with college going on and I've been feeling like shit right now with depression and writers block... maybe a sickness but what ever.

Also to clarify the reason why I put hunter J in here was because I thought of her death in d&p to be lack luster and she will play a role in this story just to let you know. 

The next chapter will show some flashback into Ash's past and may clear somethings up but nothing else new is going on or needs to be said by me.
