When Alex arrived home after being gone so long, their parents had been worried sick calling the police. When they saw Alex on TV, they hadn't known what to think or how to reply. Alex came out to their parents and they didn't even mind. Unfortunately, Alex was still grounded for a month.

Sara's parents had acted a bit awkward around her after finding out what happened. They hadn't fully supported her actions, so she ended up staying with Charlotte. 

Noah's parents refused to have him back, so he lived with Alex. They had grown as close as siblings. Alex's parents knew about Noah, and allowed him to go visit Mark, but gave him a curfew.

Alistair had come out to his parents as well, but as usual, they gave him an indifferent reaction. Drew lived with him and with time, their relationship grew. Alistair frequently worked alongside his father to help with laws that provided those with multi-colored wings and those part of LGBT the rights they needed. 

The dimension separating Mark and Lila from Karanda continued to remain a secret. Their parents had been worried about them and kept wondering where they'd been, but Mark and Lila promised each other not to tell anyone. With time, Lila and Jenna became better friends. Mark, himself, made sure to meet up with Noah every night.

Catherine's family had been reinstated and all their property had been rebuilt. 

Lara had joined the council and anyone who had been previously hunted or had joined the rebellion were being helped by Alistair and Catherine's family to help them create a stable life.

As for the mysterious male who had once appeared, he had disappeared, never to be seen again. He was regarded as nothing more than an illusion.
