All was well for a while after Gabe's parents found out. Lui's stomach grew a little day by day, week by week, to the point he was almost five months along. Through the days, the small blader could feel the little flutters from the baby, and the first time he felt a kick, it made this whole thing feel all too real. As for Gabe, he was constantly rubbing and cuddling him and his stomach. Lui had to admit that the attention was nice, but sometimes it got on his nerves.
          "Gabe, I love you, but you're really starting to get on my nerves." The flame-haired male said as they laid in bed. Gabe was laying down with his head laying carefully on his lover's growing belly, his grey eyes trailing up to look at him.
          "What do you mean?" He asked, moving to look at him a bit better.
          "Ever since I told you I was pregnant, you haven't left my stomach alone. I'll admit, the attention is a bit nice, but it's getting a little annoying."
          "I can't help it. I love feeling the little flutters and kicks, and I love hearing the small noises. It's really nice." Gabe told him, kissing the baby bump gently. Lui sighed softly and ran his fingers through his boyfriend's hair, fighting the smile that threatened his lips.
          "You're lucky I love you..." He said, rubbing an area of his stomach and feeling the little kick.

Times like these made everything feel right, but it all wasn't going to last long. School was starting up in a couple days and Lui wasn't looking forward to it. With the baby on the way, he was worried about his studies and he was worried about the other students. The Spin Emperor isn't one to get self-conscious, but something about others constantly staring at him made him uncomfortable.
            "Babe?" Gabe's voice knocked him from his thoughts and his violet eyes met grey, where a little bit of a concerned look resided. "Everything alright? You zoned out pretty heavily." Gabe said, one of his hands now holding Lui's. The smaller thought for a second but nodded and spared him a very small smile, squeezing his hand gently.
             "I'll be fine..." He said softly, laying back a bit better into the bed. Gabe stared at him a little longer then looked down, pressing his lips to the exposed skin of his stomach as he lifted his shirt partially. The action brought for a small kick to his lips and he smiled, looking up to see his beloved looking at him again.
             "What?" Gabe asked with a small chuckle, his smile stuck.
             "You're just in your glory right now, aren't you?"

Gabe laughed softly at the question and sat up carefully, pecking his lips gently.
             "I'm just really happy to start a family with you." He said happily, grabbing Lui's hands and pulling him up carefully to a sitting position. Lui found himself laughing softly, resting a hand on his stomach.
             "It's definitely something." He said, rubbing his stomach with a small smile. Thoughts of school starting once again filled his head and his smile fell, worrying Gabe.
             "Is something wrong?" The older male asked, holding his hand. Lui sighed and squeezed his hand, looking into his grey eyes.
              "Schools starts in less than a week and it worries me. I'm totally convinced everyone is going to stare at me and judge me about being pregnant..."
              "Their opinion is completely irrelevant my love. It doesn't matter what they think."
              "I know... But the thought of it all worries me... I don't know why..." Lui said softly, his free hand resting on his stomach. Gabe looked at him and sighed, sitting up and carefully pulling him into his lap, holding him there gently.
               "I promise you that I won't let anyone try to harass you. You've been through so much already, you don't deserve this..." The tall male said, pressing gentle kisses to his lover's cheeks. Lui smiled softly and wrapped his arms around his neck, pecking his lips.
               "Honestly, what would I do without you?"

School started within the next week and Lui was dreading it. Granted, both him and Gabe are seniors, but he wasn't looking forward to the stress of homework and worrying about hiding his growing stomach. Everything was going fine for the morning as Gabe hardly left his side, since all their morning classes were together. Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end at some point. After lunch, the couple had to split up due to their classes, so Lui was stuck walking through the halls alone to get to his next class.

First days of the school are the worst. People scrambling to get to class, freshman wandering around aimlessly, friend groups blocking everyone in the hall... It's all just a big mess. Lui has been trying to get through people for the last five minutes with little luck, the small Spin Emperor constantly being pushed into others and back. He grit his sharp teeth together with a growl, doing everything in his power not to snap and not to bite the shit out of someone.

             "Jesus Christ..." He had mumbled under his breath after finally making it, having not even stepped into the classroom before his phone started to ring. The pregnant male started grumbling again as he walked off to the side, answering the call. "I'm in class so make it quick..." He whispered harshly.

A frantic voice filled his ear as the caller quickly explained something to him and he visibly paled, hanging up and attempting to run down the hallway. Finding Gabe's class, he walked in without hesitation, all heads turning to him and Gabe looking at him in confusion.
              "Excuse me, but I'm trying to teach a class. You can't just-" The teacher had started to say as Lui walked in further and grabbed Gabe's arm.
              "Yeah, that's great, I don't care." Lui said sharply, pulling his lover out of room. Gabe looked at him concerned, raising an eyebrow.
              "What's the matter? Shouldn't you be in class?" The maroon-haired male asked, holding his hands. "Is it the baby?"
              "No, the baby's fine... But I'm not... I just got off the phone with your mom." Lui said, tears starting to fill his eyes as memories flooded his thoughts.
             "What's the matter my love?"

Lui looked down for a moment as a tear rolled down his cheek, looking up to meet his lovers eyes.
             "Gabe... My dad just broke out of jail..."
