Annie pov

I turn looking at the girl infront of me. She smirks at me and I resist letting a heavy sigh leave my lips. Jealousy plays with the broken pieces of my heart like they are toys as it hums to it's own victory song.

"I just came to apologize Annie, about the whole James situation." Though the smugness in her voice and face say other wise. Jealousy sings louder at her words.

A sharp pain goes through my chest as the image of Kaela and James kissing enter my mind. James was supposed to be my second chance, atleast I thought he was. Instead he is with her and I am stuck with jealousy.

"Though you seem like someone who should know better." Kaela shrugs as she takes a couple steps to me.

"Did you come to rub it in my face or did you actually come to me for an actual reason?" I ask my tone coming off snarky causing Kaela to smirk.

I really wanted to roast her. My fingers twitch at the idea but remembering she is only human I quickly ditch the thought.

Plus she is James mate, I can't hurt him like that just because I am jealous.

"Both, I wanted to make sure that you know James and I are happy together, you need to stay away from him." I scoff at her words and roll my eyes.

"Message clear, you can leave now, and leave me alone." I breath out my words trying not to come off too angry or jealous but Kaela smirks knowing the whole ordeal is eating me up inside.

"Good, I hope to never see you again." Kaela shrugs before turning and walking away, down the alley way where she first came from.

I sigh and turn and walk back into the restaurant.

Riley pov

I look at the small cottage and tilt my head slightly. This is where the supposed witch, Nakotah, lives. Hopefully she can make the potion for Navi, and everything can go back to some kind of normal.

My boots crunch on the forest floor as I make my way to the front door. The small porch creaks under my weight and I raise my hand, the door rumbles as my fist knocks against it.

I look around me out into the forest before looking back as the door opens. I walk in cautiously, not sure what exactly I'm walking into, this could be a trap. Witches were tricky, especially ones with out a Coven.

"Well hello Rilina." I cringe as my name leaves her lips, though her voice is silvery, poetic even. I turn my head to an opening and see what looks like a living room. The dark skinned woman is sat elegantly in a chair, sipping on a teacup.

"It's Riley." I say quickly causing a bright smile to take over Nakotah's face. Her eyes are gripping, as if she knew exactly what happened in my past, as if she knew my weakness and my strengths.

Her top lip is thinner than her bottom lip, a piercing is right on top of her cupid's bow. Her eyes are haunting and copper, watching me as if I am her prey.

"Nakotah, I need a potion." My toneless voice shoots through the air without hesitation and she simply nods at my words, straight to the point. I couldn't risk being here to long or I'd leave with my soul sold I'm sure, witches were like salesmen.

"Rilina this potion may not give you the results you are after." Nakota warns me in an all knowing tone. "There is a such thing as a butterfly effect, be careful with who touches this potion, it could be fatal." My eyes widen slightly at her words.

I resist tilting my head not wanting to give any emotion to the witch. "What do you mean? This potion should be harmless. It is only supposed to erase her memories."

How could a potion that erases memories be fatal? There had to be something else.

"Ah, yes but if this potion touches someone specific, death will follow." Nakotah stands as she walks past me, to a shelf. She grabs a small clear bag and hands it to me. Inside is a vial and an empty syringe.

"Well who do I need to keep it away from?" My voice is slightly hostile as I've grown bored of the riddles. I didn't have time for riddles, I needed this potion and any warnings now.

"That is not wise for me to say. The Moon Goddess has made up her mind. I just felt I should warn you." My eyes widen at Nakotah's mention of the Moon Goddess.

Only very powerful witches hear from the Moon Goddess.

"Now payment Rilina." I nod my head at her words prepared for whatever she wants.

"Your first born girl. At the age of seven I will come and collect her." Nakotah takes in my reaction but I only give her a blank stare before simply nodding my head.

Nakotah's head tilts in confusion. "Alright, speak it into existence and I will allow you to leave." Her voice is slightly strained, possibly due to my lack of emotion. Most ancient powerful witches like her loved to make people squirm.

"I, Rilina, give my first born daughter, away to Nakotah, at the age of seven." My voice is steady and clipped causing Nakotah to frown slightly. The agitation rolls off of her in waves making me want to smirk, she wanted to see me nervous, jittery even.

"Alright, but know that the potion is not finished." My eyes widen as my neutral expression falls lightly causing her to smirk.

What the fuck does she mean not finished.

"What do you mean not finished?" I grumble out as she walks slowly around me, I watch her closely.

"It has to be heated through, but only by an internal dragon." Nakotah smiles as her words cause my jaw to drop slightly.

"An internal dragon what the fuck do you mean by that!" My voice rises slowly as I start to lose my cool causing her to smile even wider, showing her pearly teeth.

"A fire dragon that is immortal Rilina."  I clench my fist at her words. How I hated the way she let my name fall from her lips in the most condescending manner.

"What dragon is immortal? There aren't any!" I throw my hands up as I feel the vein in my neck pulse slightly.

"Ah but there is one," She states while holding her pointer finger up. "A dragon Queen that was never laid to rest."

I groan "I dont know anything about the dragon queens!" Nakotah smirks at my words as a little giggle leaves her. She looks at me pointedly.

"You know someone who loves history Rilina, I thought you were smarter than this." I sigh harshly at her words and I glare at her.

"This seems a little much seeing as you are getting my first born daughter." I say through gritted teeth, she just shrugs innocently.

"Well you already spoke it into existence so no take backs Rilina."

The nerve of the witch, I should have known something like this would happen, ancient witches were always tricky, always making sure they got the better end of the deal.

"You can leave now Rilina, you have a bit of hunting to do." Her smirk is proud and her words seem to smack me on the face. With gritted teeth I turn and practically stomp out of the cottage.

I sigh harshly as the door shuts behind me. I get to my car and turn back and my eyes widen slightly.

The cottage is now gone.

Nakotah obviously does not like to be found and will leave as soon as her deal has been made.

Now that I've been royally screwed I have to just hope that I can find whoever this internal dragon is.

I get in my car and quickly back out and take off down the road itching to find the witch again and burn her.

Yet I don't, I have more important things to finish.

*******

Hi guys I'm back!!!
I feel much better. Sorry it took me so long I had a bad cold and then it just got worse and settled in my lungs to the point I had to actually use an inhaler.

Anyhow! Thoughts?

The making of Glitch: I picture Riley like this but with black hair.
