Dust

-"Hey Dust, wake up."

I slowly opened my eyes and it took me a second to realize where I am.

-"Hm? what time is it?" I said while yawning.

-"11." he simply said.

-"Are we there?" I said while rubbing my eyes, trying to wake up.

-"Almost. this is a diner. we need to eat." Ignis said.

-"I'm not hungry. we gotta gotta get there now." I said. he frowned at me and turned off the car and got out. "what are you doing?" I asked.

-"I said get out. we Need to eat. and I have to talk to you." he said. I growled and rolled eyes and got out. it was really dark now and even colder. we were still on the road wit forest on both sides of the road and except for the diner, I couldn't see any other buildings.

Ignis started walking in and I followed him inside. the diner was small and had only fifteen tables with red leather seats and a bar. all around it was decorated in 60's style with black and white photos. Ignis sat down at a table and I took off my coat and sat in front of him. not even a minute later a waitress with dyed blonde hair and pink lipstick came to us.

-"Can I take your order?" she asked.

-"We'll both have steaks." Ignis said.

-"half baked for me." I said. she peeked at me before writing it down and heading back to kitchen. I sighed.

-"So what did you want to talk about?" I asked. he looked at me a bit.

-"Well..." he said. "listen man, I know you don't like me and I understand that because of my uncle and everything."

-"Is there a point to this?" I asked.

-"Yes... listen I gotta say this, what you're doing is crazy." he said.

-"What?" I asked frowning. "which part exactly? saving my mate or trying to fix my mistake?" I said getting slightly angry.

-"then what is it like?" I raised my voice.

-"Keep it down!" He said and looked around. "Listen man all I'm saying is that running towards danger like this is stupid! We need some plan. You don't even know what you're walking into."

-"Then tell me."

-"Huh?"

-"tell me what I'm getting into."

-"How the hell am I supposed to know that? You seriously think I had something to do with it?"

-"I didn't say that! I mean tell me about the mansion. you said so you know all about it. how many rooms? How many staff? Details like that."

-"How will that help?"

-"Are you really an Alpha?" I asked.

-"Huh? yeah why?"

-"Cause you're too idiot to be one. Now I know why Alphas need Betas." I said and leaned back. He rolled eyes and looked at me.

-"Well would you mind telling this idiot why do you need to know about the mansion?"

-"Cause when this guy, whoever he is, asked us to come to Thornwall mansion, it means that Robin is there."

-"That's obvious."

-"Well, if I know some info about the mansion, maybe I can find Robin before I even meet this guy."

-"That's not really possible. How are you gonna do that?"

-"With your help. Tell me about the mansion."

-"Uh... it's a mansion like any other. It's rather new and three floors."

-"How many rooms?" I asked.

-"I'm not sure I guess about... 20-25. Most of them are bedrooms but there's Alpha's office, gym, theater, library, attic, basement-"

-"Basement. Tell me about that."

-"It's not what you hope they can't hide her there. It's packed to the roof with boxes and stuff."

-"Well any other things? secret rooms or anything?"

-"Not that I know of..." he said and I sighed. we both went silent when the waitress brought the steaks for us.

-"There's gotta be a panic room or storage or something..." I said when she left.

-"Well..." he said.

-"Well what?" I said.

-"There is a bunker. it's really old and it's not even supposed to be there. it's always locked and hasn't been used since world war II. they built the mansion over it years later cause destroying it would cost a lot so they just decided to build the mansion over it."

-"Seems perfect for a hideout." I said and took a bite of my steak.

-"you don't understand Dust. it can't be used. I don't think we even have the key to there. and it's gotta be a ruins by now."

-"It's our best shot. you said there are no other secret rooms or anything. and the basement is full. so the only place she could be is there." I said. he sighed and ate a piece of his steak.

-"I guess so..." he said.

-"All we gotta do now is find a way to get in."

-"That part's easy." he said and took a bite of his steak.

-"How come? I just walk in?"

-"No." he said. "uncle is very careful about his security. all doors are usually locked and he has electric fence. even security guards by the gate. but that's bad only for the invaders. the guards never check me so all you have to do is to hide somewhere in the car and I'll get in and drop you off by the back door. then you're on your own."

-"But where's the bunker?" I asked.

-"When you go through the back door, you'll find yourself in the kitchen. we'll get there by midnight so don't worry about anyone being there. when you leave the kitchen you'll find yourself in the hallway. you go left and take another left when you get to the end of hallway. then go right. you'll see a door. that leads to laundry room. go down there and you'll see a red door on the floor. that's the bunker."

-"But what about you?" I asked.

-"I'll get to the uncle's office and try to find the key to the bunker, if there is one. then I'll meet you at the laundry room and we'll see if your mate's down there." he said. I smirked a bit. "what?" he asked.

-"Nothing, I just didn't think you could come up with a neat plan." I said. he chuckled.

-"You underestimate Alphas too much."

-"Nope, just you." I said and took a sip of my water.

-"Shut up." he said and ate his steak. there was a couple of seconds of silence while we ate.

-"So..." I said and picked up my water glasses. "why are you helping me?" I asked.

-"Why shouldn't I?" he asked.

-"Cause this might just end up destroying your pack and uncle's reputation."

-"We're still not sure if my uncles's behind this." he said.

-"Suppose he is..." I said. he looked at me.

-"Supposing he is... I'm not sure if I want to get caught up in something like this. my uncle is not the best problem solver and usually we don't have the same idea over the solution of a problem. to think he wanted to 'unite' the pack with marrying me and Elsa... I don't know. he always has everything his way."

-"Not in this particular case."

-"Right... so yeah, I don't want any blood on my hands. that's why I'm helping you."

-"...Thanks." I said and took a sip of my water again. "and sorry for punching your nose." he chuckled.

-"It's ok. I probably would have done the same if I was you..." he said. "so, if you're finished, we can go. we're almost at the mansion." I nodded and we got up. he paid up and we walked out in the freezing air again before getting in the car. he started the car and drove. a couple of minutes later, I could see the lights of a town by the ocean.
