Hoseok threw Namjoon inside the shed roughly, not caring at all that the boys hands were bound, and he crashed to the wooden floor with a muffled groan of pain.

"Namjoon!" Yoongi raced in to help his friend, but he stopped cold when he saw who else was in his safe place.

Taehyung grinned at him, waving his fingers as if he hadn't killed Yoongi's parents. "Hey, Yoongi. So glad you could join us."

And Seokjin, looking barely conscious on a medical stand with a bandage on his temple.

Hoseok shut the door and stood in front of it, arms crossed as if he was guarding the only exit, and held his gun loosely in one hand. He made no move to hide the fact he was pointing it directly at Namjoon.

"You..." Despite his fear, Yoongi could feel his fury rising, slowly burning away the icy terror with hot anger. "They trusted you."

"Like a bunch of fucking naïve retards." Taehyung rolled his eyes. "It pissed me off the way they asked me to stay in their lives after what your whore bitch of a mother did. Honestly, killing them was better for everybody. The world doesn't need more idiots."

"Shut the hell up!" Yoongi shouted, his anger taking over as he ran at the doctor.

Hands suddenly grabbed him, dragging him back despite the boys kicking and struggling.

"Get off me!" Yoongi shouted, trying to twist out of the strong grip, but Hoseok just held him tighter.

"Yoongi, calm down." The cop tried to get him to settle down.

Yoongi couldn't believe he just said that. Calm down?! When he was face to face with the person who murdered his loving parents? The man who damaged Jungkook? The man who had kidnapped and drugged Seokjin?

"Let me tell you a story." Taehyung said, walking back to Seokjin. He looked down at the pretty boy who was struggling to stay coherent, running his fingers through the boys black hair. "You look so much like her, little Jinnie. I had to fight the urge to scar your beautiful face every single time I ever saw you."

Seokjin tried to move his head away, but the drugs and restraints held him down.

"Once upon a time there was a perfect couple, Min Micha and Kim Taehyung. Though they didn't have soulmate markings, everyone could see how they completed each other. They loved each so much and couldn't wait to get married. They stayed up late every night talking excitedly about their future. When Taehyung proposed, she said yes before he could even finish asking the question. They were so happy together, already planning their future kids's names. But then, Micha suddenly got a soulmate mark. And Taehyung didn't. A bee emerged overnight on her wrist, as if she had gotten a tattoo. A late bloomer, everyone said. And then she found her real other half, the florist of their wedding, who had a flower soulmate marking. And she left Taehyung for that guy, as if all their time together meant nothing compared to a few stupid markings." Taehyung growled, his expression turning dark.

Yoongi couldn't believe it. "They were soulmates...you couldn't really believe you were better for her than dad was. They belonged together!"

"I BELONGED WITH HER!" Taehyung shouted, making Yoongi flinch. "I was the one who proposed first! I asked her out first! I carried her books for her in the rain all throughout high school first! I laid eyes on her first! She was mine!"

He calmed himself down. "She was supposed to be mine. And then they had the audacity to ask me to attend the wedding and become their future kids's doctor. As if I wasn't heartbroken and hurting. But being in her life like that was still better than not being in it at all. I watched that bastard build a home with her, move in with her, have three kids with her, all from a distance with a fake smile on my face. But then when they decided to get married and used the same theme that her and I were originally going to go with, I snapped. I couldn't stand seeing them happy together anymore. Someone else was living my fairytale life, and I was ready to be the perfect villain."

"You were the driver." Yoongi breathed. "You crashed your truck into their limo on their wedding night."

"To be fair," Taehyung hummed, holding up a finger. "I didn't know Jungkook was in the car. I assumed they were leaving the three kids at home."

"Would you have changed your actions if you had known?" Yoongi growled.

Taehyung shrugged casually. "Who knows. Anyways, yes, I ran my heavy pick up into the side of their infuriating flashy escort ride, intending to kill them both, and the driver too just to cover up any witnesses."

"You sick monster." Tears ran down the middle child's face. "You could have just left. Moved away and met someone else. Been happy without her."

Taehyung glared. "There is no happiness without her. She was my soulmate, and I don't give a damn if we never got matching marks to prove it. She was mine and I was hers! That bastard could never treat her like I could!"

"Dad loved her more than anything!" Yoongi shouted, struggling again in Hoseok's arms, trying to get free of the handcuffs. "You don't know anything!"

"Are you done interrupting?" Taehyung sighed. "Hoseok, gag him or something, he's getting on my nerves."

"Fuck you! Piece of shit bastard! Die! You fucking-"

Hoseok pressed his hand tightly over Yoongi's mouth. "Hurry up, Tae. It's cold as fuck in here."

Taehyung ran a hand through his hair. "You just want to get to the part about you, Seokie." He chuckled. "Anyways, Hoseok was a rookie on the force, just recently joined. We had been friends since childhood, so he helped me out by covering for me. Changed witness statements and went behind the chief of police's back to help me out. The only thing that could convict me was the CCTV footage, which I didn't even know existed until you asked Hoseok to get it for you, Yoongi." Taehyung smirked. "We planned an attack where I got the chief out of the way and knocked out Hoseok to make him look innocent, then stole and burned the tapes. So thanks, Yoongs. You really helped me out there."

Yoongi could have thrown up upon hearing the role he had unknowingly played in helping his parents killer, but Hoseok's hand was still blocking his mouth.

"And then of course, there's Jungkookie." Taehyung sighed deeply, dramatically draping himself over a chair. "Before the wedding, I went to their house and asked her one last time to leave that bastard and marry me instead, like how we had originally planned. She refused and I got mad. If I couldn't have her, no one else could. I tied her up and was so close in taking her away with me, when Jungkook walked in. He saw the ropes and froze, asking 'what doing with mommy?' My momentary state of distraction was enough for her to get the upper hand and call the cops. Hoseok took the call and swept the incident under the rug for me, but I was still pissed. I got into my truck and went after them. I lucked out with the timing- their light turned green just as I was approaching the intersection. I floored it and T boned them dead on. The driver's airbag saved him, and very conveniently knocked him out. Your parents weren't as lucky. That bastard died on impact like he deserved for stealing my happiness, and Micha was injured, bleeding out. Jungkook had some scrapes and bruises, but his child seat was top of the line and he didn't get any serious injuries- well, except for the mental one. I stood over her bleeding, broken body, watching her white dress slowly turn red, and listened to her beg and plead with me to save him, save Jungkook, save her. I might've helped her out, given her one last chance to be mine, but then she had the audacity to call me Bora, her loving nickname for me, and I knew I couldn't trust her sweet talking. She only cared about you kids now, had no more room left in her heart for me. So I just watched her die. Seeing his parents get murdered in front of him stunted Jungkook's mind into staying a child forever. The medication I hand made insured he would never get out of the mental block, would never grow up to tell the truth of that night. But the good news is that I won't have to kill him too if he stays on those pills. You three, however, yeah, sorry, no happy ending."

"Wait a minute." Hoseok frowned. "You're not killing Yoongi."

Taehyung ignored him and stood up from the chair, walking over to Namjoon.

The boy had been laying on his side on the floor, his shirtless body shivering in his restraints.

"And then twelve years later, homeless people started dying around the campus area. Hoseok found blood DNA at the scene that didn't belong to any victims, and concluded it must be the killer. The blood wasn't in any databases, however, and the trail went cold. He confided that to me, since we're good friends, and I thought nothing of it. Up until the day Mr. Kim Namjoon scheduled an appointment with me. I drew his blood as part of routine testing to check for any abnormalities, and found something far more intriguing. The blood matched what Hoseok found, and I knew the identity of the campus killer." Taehyung knelt down and pushed Namjoon onto his back, running his fingertips over his hair, face and chest. He looked up at Hoseok and smirked. "Still sorry for not telling you earlier, buddy. I know you have a thing for Yoongi but I needed Namjoon to get close to him so I could keep tabs on his investigation progress."

Hoseok glared, still mad about the fact his friend had kept the secret from him and allowed a killer to get close to his precious Yoongi, but he had Yoongi safe in his arms now, and he held the smaller boy tighter, protectively. "Just hurry up."

Yoongi didn't like the way Taehyung was touching Namjoon, but he glanced at Seokjin instead, hoping his brother was doing okay after hearing all of this. After all, the poor selfless, hardworking oldest Min had been kept in the dark about all of this, and had shock after shock revealed to him. That his parents deaths weren't an accident, that Yoongi was investigating it, that Taehyung had betrayed them, that Hoseok was on Taehyung's side, that his soulmate was a killer. Yoongi hoped his brother could stay strong for them, just like he always did.

"How did you even know Yoongi was looking into it?" Hoseok asked.

"When he came and dropped off Jungkook one day." Taehyung said, pressing two fingers against Namjoon's neck. "I saw inside his backpack that he had a lot of books about criminal investigating. Since he was going to school to be a doctor he wouldn't have any classes like that in his schedule, so it had to be something he was doing on his own time. I was wondering how I could subtly get information from him about what exactly he was doing, but then I found out about Namjoon, and all the pieces worked out in my favor."

He straightened up. "Anyways, the end. Now, since you three know the truth, I can't let you leave this shed. I could never stand looking at you boys since all I could see was him and her, but now I won't have to ever again."

He walked to the other and of the shed and picked up a canister of gasoline and smirked.

"I know you're cold, so let me heat things up."
