Hoseok parked the squad car at the furthest end of the back parking lot- the one close to the woods.
No one was here at this time of night, so no one would see them as Hoseok unlocked the back door, grabbing Yoongi's arm and pulling him out.
Yoongi spat and struggled, shouting curses and yelling for help, but when Hoseok jabbed the gun against his side, he glaringly fell silent.
"If you run, I'll shoot him." Hoseok warned, unlocking the trunk.
Yoongi stayed in place, heart racing as the corrupt cop grabbed Namjoon, hauling him out of the car.
The blood had dried, leaving a small red line from the boys temple to halfway down his neck and Yoongi feared the injury had gotten worse during the ride over here. Namjoon's eyes weren't focused, and he looked dazed. Yoongi worried if he had a concussion.
"Lead the way." Hoseok held onto Namjoon, gun pointed at the student, as he ushered Yoongi to walk in front.
Yoongi struggled in his handcuffs, wishing he could run to Namjoon's side, or at the very least press his hands over the still bleeding cut. "I won't take one step unless you give him something for his injury."
"I'm not giving a killer a bandaid." Hoseok clicked the safety off. "March."
"You don't have the way to the shack memorized. Without me guiding you, you'll be out here all night searching for it." Yoongi taunted. "Let me help him, and then I'll lead you."
Hoseok sighed. "Yoongi, why do you even care for him? He's a heartless killer."
"You're the heartless one in my eyes." Yoongi growled.
Hoseok shook his head, but it seemed he didn't want to argue. He holstered the gun and turned to the boy, who swayed without the support.
Hoseok grabbed Namjoon's shirt in both hands, ripping it apart.
"What are you doing!" Yoongi gasped. "It's freezing out here! He'll get frostbite!"
"He can warm up in the shed." Hoseok muttered, dropping one half of the ruined cotton shirt to the forest floor. The other he pressed to Namjoon's head, stopping the trickle of blood.
Namjoon groaned at the pain, weakly trying to move his head away. Hoseok wrapped an arm around him, the gun once again pressed against the student.
"Now lead." Hoseok instructed.
Yoongi glared, but he just wanted to get Namjoon someplace warm, and there was a spot to build a fire in the shed.
It was hard to trek through the forest debris when it was so dark out, especially when his hands were cuffed behind his back, and he stumbled and tripped a lot.
The trip normally only took him about ten minutes, but this time it was nearly half an hour when the small hunting shack came into the view.
"Stop." Hoseok whispered when they were a few feet away. "Don't make a sound."
Yoongi listened, only because he feared what was behind the shed doors.
Hoseok pushed Namjoon to Yoongi, who barely caught him in time, quickly balancing himself as the younger boy leaned against him.
The bloodied piece of fabric fell to the floor, and Yoongi's heart sank when he saw the size of the gash. Luckily, though, it wasn't deep, just wide.
"Namjoon," Yoongi whispered, bracing the weak boy up with his torso. "Are you okay? Can you hear me?"
Namjoon just groaned in reply, trying to get himself righted. He was shivering, freezing in the cold September night air and he gave up trying to stand on his own in favor of leaning in close to Yoongi's body heat.
Hoseok stepped up to the shed door, knocking softly. "Tae?"
Some sounds, and then the shed door opened, with Kim Taehyung grinning at them.
"Ah, the rest of the party is here, finally. Come on in boys, you're just in time for the show."
