Yoongi huffed, unable to fall asleep.

He kicked the covers off of himself and sat up, looking around the dark room.

He felt like too much was pent up inside. Not knowing such important things made him frustrated, and he couldn't think straight when he was annoyed.

"Goo," Yoongi called, getting up. He walked to his door and opened it, heading down the stairs to the living room. "Wanna take your bath?"

"Nuh." Jungkook stared at the colorful animals dancing around on the TV screen. "Wan' watch show."

"It's late, you should be in bed already." Yoongi sat beside him, pulling out his phone as he rested his feet on Jungkook's lap.

"Nuh. Watch show."

Yoongi decided to let him watch the TV for a little longer as he scrolled through his social media's. They were all boring to him however, and he sighed, closing out of them.

He wondered how Hoseok was doing.

He still felt guilty about using Hoseok's police privilege's for his own personal matters, but this case was extremely important to him, and he was sure Hoseok wouldn't totally mind helping him if he knew the truth.

He glanced at Jungkook, seeing the way the boys body was taller than his own. The boy was lean and strong. If he hadn't been traumatized by that crash, he would have a girlfriend and a bunch of friends. He would be living a perfect life right now.

And Seokjin.

Seokjin would be a successful doctor, with a bunch of money and boy and a girl on each arm.

But reality was terrible and left bitter tears in Yoongi's eyes.

Yoongi stared softy at his younger brother. "Jungkook..."

Jungkook looked at him, still holding his doll. "Gi-gi?"

Seokgi, the doll he had named after his two big brothers, whom he loved so much, was clutched tightly in his hands.

Yoongi knew how Seokjin would react if he knew what Yoongi was actually doing with Namjoon, but he had no idea what Jungkook would think.

Would he be on Yoongi's side, insisting to help? Would he get upset, lash out at Yoongi?

"Gi-gi loves you." Yoongi whispered. "So much."

Jungkook broke out in giggles. "Kookie love Yoomy!"

He squirmed over, setting himself in Yoongi's lap, leaning against his brother as he played with his doll.

Yoongi wrapped his arms around the boy tightly, hugging him close.

"Jungkook...do you miss mom and dad too?"

Jungkook cocked his head. "Mommy n' daddy?"

Yoongi nodded, brushing the boys hair out of his face.

Jungkook pouted, lower lip pushing out as tears formed quickly in his large eyes, nodding.

"Oh, baby, I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to make you cry." Yoongi quickly hugged him tighter.

Jungkook sniffed loudly, burying his face in Yoongi's shirt, smearing his runny nose and tears across the fabric, not that Yoongi minded.

Yoongi ran his fingers through the boys hair, wondering how much Jungkook really remembered about them. He had read somewhere that babies didn't start having memories until they were about four, and their parents died when Jungkook was that age. Was his only memory of them the car accident? How much did Jungkook really remember about that night? Yoongi had never asked.

"Kook..." Yoongi pushed the boy back slightly. "What do you remember about the crash? The night mom and dad died?"

Jungkook cocked his head. "Crash?"

"The...car crash?" Yoongi was slightly confused. "The limo?"

"Wimo?"

"A big, long car." Yoongi said. "Remember? Mom and dad were there and you were with them-" He cut himself off when Jungkook's eyes suddenly widened.

"Uhn..." The boy started, but seemed unable to finish that sentence, tensing up.

"Jungkook?" Yoongi sat up, grabbing him. "Jungkook!"

He shook him slightly, but the boy didn't budge, having one of his episodes.

His eyes stared at something in the past, and no amount of shouting or shaking him would bring him back until the moment passed.

"Mm...mm!" Jungkook suddenly pressed his wrists together. "No!"

Yoongi was confused. "Jungkook? What are you doing?"

"No! No!" Jungkook insisted, pushing his hands in Yoongi's face. "Stop it!"

"Stop what? I'm not doing anything!" Yoongi stared, panicking. Jungkook's episodes had never been like this before, and he feared he shouldn't have asked the boy to remember that night.

Jungkook huffed, trying to get him to understand. "No! What are you doing? Stop it!" He slammed his hands together again.

Yoongi's mouth dropped open at the complete sentence.

Jungkook never spoke in complete sentences.

His mind couldn't form them, never having fully learned grammar and English.

Jungkook rolled off the couch when he saw Yoongi wasn't understanding, racing up the stairs to his room.

"Jungkook!" Yoongi ran after him. "Jungkook- what are you- what's going on? What's wrong?"

Jungkook had pulled out his coloring set and ripped out a blank page. He grabbed his box of crayons and dumped them out. He sorted through them, until he saw a yellow one and scribbled so hard on the paper that the crayon broke.

Yoongi hovered behind him, biting his nail nervously.

It looked like a rounded square, with five long ovals sprouting from the top.

A hand.

Jungkook drew another one, overlapping the first one slightly.

He tossed the crayon aside and dug through his pile to pull out a brown one, and he scratched it furiously over the hands, in a straight line across the same spot until the paper almost tore.

Jungkook held up the paper, pointing. "No! Stop!"

Yoongi stared, not knowing what hands had to do with the crash. "Jungkook...I...what is this?"

Jungkook huffed, throwing down the paper. "No! NO!"

"What's 'no', Kook?" Yoongi sat beside him, trying to calm him down. "It's okay, Yoonie is here, baby."

But Jungkook shoved him off, pushing his hands in Yoongi's face again, wrists pressed together. "No! Why are you doing this? How could you do this?"

Again, Yoongi was struck silent at the full sentences. Jungkook's voice had changed too, his soft baby-like voice suddenly morphing into a deeper one, full of emotions.

"Gi!" Jungkook cried, frustrated when he saw Yoongi wasn't understanding him. He held up his hands again. "No! Stop this! Please!"

"Jungkook..." Yoongi whispered, staring at his baby brother. "It wasn't an accident at all...was it?"

"No! Please! Don't!" Jungkook insisted, grabbing his picture again, pointing at the brown part.

"There was more that happened...that night." Yoongi blinked. "It wasn't just the crash...something else happened. It wasn't an accident."

Relieved Yoongi was finally understanding him, Jungkook collapsed against his brother, tired.

Yoongi held him tightly, staring blankly at the wall.

"I knew it."

"I knew it..."
