"Namjoon, are you staying for dinner?" Seokjin smiled warmly, setting down the food he had just made on the kitchen table as Yoongi and Namjoon stepped inside.

Jungkook hopped up onto a seat, helping himself to the ramen with generous servings. "Jinnie make bestest food!"

"It smells amazing," Namjoon inhaled deeply. "I'd love to, especially since this guy wouldn't give us any lunch breaks all day."

He shoved Yoongi slightly, but the brooding boy just shrugged him off, turning away from them all to head towards the stairs.

"Yoongi!" Seokjin raced after him. "What's wrong?"

"Nothing." Yoongi muttered, yanking his arm away when his brother grabbed him.

"You don't sound like it's nothing." Seokjin tried to stop him again, and Yoongi shoved him back. "Yoongi!"

"Just leave me alone." Yoongi raced up the stairs, and a few moments later, they heard a door slam.

Namjoon sighed. "I'm sorry he's taking it out on you, Jin, it's nothing you did. It's just this project we've been working on. It's really getting to him."

"What is it? I've never seen him take a school assignment so seriously before." Seokjin frowned.

"It's a really important, worth a whole lot." Namjoon said, guiding Seokjin to the couch. He sat beside the oldest Min, feeling the boys body heat from how close they were.

Seokjin sighed, leaning back against the cushions.

"You look tired." Namjoon studied him. "You should head to bed, I can do the dishes."

Seokjin smiled at him, eyes fluttering open. "You're too kind, Namjoon. I couldn't ask you to do that."

"You're not asking, I'm insisting." Namjoon helped him stand. "You overwork yourself, let me help out a little."

Seokjin blushed at how kind and thoughtful Yoongi's friend was. "I'm okay, I just- Jungkook!"

He gasped when they entered the kitchen, seeing the youngest Min had dumped all the Ramen out of the pot and onto his plate, which was now empty.

"Jungkookie love Jinnie's food!" The youngest beamed, cheeks puffed out with noodles.

"You...you ate the whole thing?" Seokjin blinked.

Namjoon chuckled. "Well, I'll order us take out."

Seokjin sighed deeply. "I can't afford that right now. I think I might have some leftovers still in the fri-"

Namjoon grabbed the boys arm gently. "Hey, I'll pay. No worries. Are you in the mood for pizza?"

"Pizza!" Jungkook cheered, clearly ready for more food despite having just ate five servings of ramen.

Namjoon pulled out his phone, looking up delivery. "There's a place twenty minutes from here that's still open, but we'll have to pick it up ourselves. What kind of pizza do you want?"

"You really don't have to," Seokjin still blushed at the younger boy offering to buy them all dinner.

Namjoon raised a finger, placing it over Seokjin's lips as he brought the phone to his ear. "I am. Now tell me what you want."

Oh.

Seokjin's heart skipped a beat.

"U-um, cheese?" He said, eyes slightly wide.

"Googies wants pep'roni!" Jungkook declared. "And breadsticks!"

Namjoon smirked at Seokjin's expression, slowly removing his finger.

The person on the other end picked up, and Namjoon turned away to place their order.

Seokjin swallowed hard, staring at the boys toned back, muscles flexing under his shirt.

Stop getting distracted, you know you don't have time for romance. Especially not with Yoongi's classmate, what's wrong with you?

Namjoon hung up. "If we start walking now, it'll be ready by the time we get there."

"We can drive." Seokjin said. "It'll be faster."

"Let's walk." Namjoon flashed him a smile. "Yoongi can watch Jungkook."

The responsible part of Seokjin wanted to say no. That it wasn't practical to walk when they could drive, especially late on a school night. He didn't want to leave Jungkook either, even if the boy would be safe with Yoongi at home.

But something about Namjoon's dimples and charming smile made Seokjin's heart go haywire, and he found himself nodding.

Besides, maybe the boy was right. Seokjin never did anything for himself, everything was always for his brothers. He deserved a nice evening walk with a cute guy by his side as they got dinner.

"I'll let Yoongi know." Seokjin hurried past Namjoon and up the stairs. He knocked on the middle child's closed door. "Hey, Yoongs. Namjoon and I are going to go get a pizza for us. Jungkook ate all the ramen, so watch him for us while we're out, okay?"

"Mm." Came a tired reply.

Seokjin grabbed his jacket quickly and then hurried back down the stairs, where Jungkook was bashfully staring up at Namjoon, his cheeks pink as his gaze flicked down to the older boys thighs.

Seokjin wasn't the only one with a crush on Yoongi's classmate.

"Ready?" He asked, slipping his shoes on.

Namjoon nodded, stepping outside to wait while Seokjin sat Jungkook on the couch, turning on the TV for him.

"Jinnie and Joonie will be right back, okay Gukkie?" Seokjin handed the boy his doll that he got from Taehyung.

"Gets foods?" Jungkook played with the doll.

"Yep, we're getting the pizza. Stay here and be a good boy for Yoongi, okay?"

Jungkook nodded, distracted with his toys and cartoons.

Seokjin hurried out the door, shutting and locking it behind him as the two headed down the dimly lit sidewalk.

He shoved his hands in his pockets, too worried about having their hands accidentally brush if he left them out in the open.

"So...I've been wanting to ask for a while now." Namjoon said as they passed under a streetlight. "And you don't have to answer if it's too personal, but, why is Jungkook...the way that he is?"

Seokjin sighed, looking down at his shoes. "I don't know if Yoongi told you or not...but our parents died in a car crash twelve years ago. Jungkook was in the car when it happened. The doctor thinks the traumatic event stunted his brain growth, so even though he's physically sixteen, he's mentally four. No matter what we try, he can't seem to snap out of it. He's taking medication to help him not revert back to an even younger age, but they don't do much to make him act his real age."

"Damn."

Seokjin snorted. "Yeah. Damn."

"Who knew death affected the living so much." Namjoon mused, tilting his head back to look up at the stars.

Seokjin shrugged, looking down at his shoes as they walked. It was chilly out, and he found himself bumping into the strong boys warm side more than once.

"What if...it wasn't an accident?"

Seokjin looked at him, heart stopping for a moment when he thought Namjoon was talking about how he kept accidentally brushing against him. "Wh-what do you mean?"

"The crash. What if someone intended to kill them?" Namjoon asked bluntly.

Seokjin frowned and looked away. "My parents were great people who loved each other and loved us kids more than anything in the world. If someone wanted kind people like them to die...then I'm glad Jungkook has been sheltered his whole life."

Namjoon looked at him for a moment, seeing the emotion in the pretty boys eyes under the moonlight, and he reached his hand out.

Seokjin was surprised for a moment, before his cheeks turned a soft pink, and he slowly placed his hand over Namjoon's.

"You're a good man, Seokjin." Namjoon whispered, gently rubbing his thumb over Seokjin's skin. "You deserve a kind world."

Seokjin blinked back tears, scrubbing his eyes with his free hand as his grip tightened on Namjoon's.

He gave everything to his brothers.

And now he finally had one thing to himself.
