"Find me in the future!"

The call distracted her from the all-consuming burning coursing through her limbs, dark eyes fixed on the fallen star in her palms.

It burst to life, the skin under it seeming to ripple with the heat and sheer weight.

She whipped her head up at the voice though, without a second thought, gaze following the snap of her head.

A fuller figured woman was racing to her, amber eyes wide as she reached out to her.

She almost began to sink as she ran, leaving her frozen in place until she completely disappeared.

Eyes fell back to the star in her hands, and something possessed her so strongly to swallow it whole. It was so hot and thrummed, like the beating of a heart.

So she did, and she made herself return her focus to what she'd just seen to distract herself from the sheer, overwhelming wash of flame that filled her, the cracking of her ribs as something she didn't recognize at first replaced the star.

There was something about her, the softness of her and the timbre of her voice, that etched her into her mind. A burning memory she would never be able to forget.

Something about this woman called out to her, and she was oddly determined to follow her wishes and find her.
