Recap - Arjun confessing his feelings for Aarohi before his family

" Arjun..are you sure about this?"Aarohi asked nervously. Arjun smiled holding her palms. And nodded

"We decided to start a new life together Aarohi. So.. I think its important to take blessings from our elders."

She smiled and gripped his palm tighter

They were on their way to Happy Homes. To take blessings from the elders. Arjun and Aarohi were gearing up for a new phase in their life. Ramya wanted to get them married as soon as possible. Last week they visited Kavyas family. They were happy for Arjun. To start a new life.

They parked the car and stepped outside. Few children ran to them. And hugged them.  Aarohi gave them chocolates which Arjun had brought for them. And walked inside

The elders gathered together in the living room. Arjun and Aarohi greeted them.

"So glad that you found time for us in between your busy schedules sir" Divya smiled greeting him

"First thing. You don't need to call me sir. And yeah i thought it will be nice to visit you all"

"We are happy to have you Around Arjun" an elderly man spoke followed by others

"Actually. I came here to. Say something very important."he said looking at Aarohi. Who stood nervously. Along with the children

" What's the matter?"

" Aarohi and I. We like each other. I would like to marry her."

Aarohi lowered her head. biting her lips. Divya teased her. The crowd broke into bright smiles. The children clapped happily. Aarohi smiled in relief

"Angel is our own daughter Arjun. We are lucky to have her in our life. And now she is lucky. To get someone like you in her life" a woman said holding Aarohis palms

Her eyes moistened. Arjun smiled eyeing her

"Yeah. We are the happiest"

Divya side hugged Aarohi. While the children jumped up in excitement

"Yay. Angel is getting married'' A boy said clapping follwed by other children. Others laughed at them.

Aarohi got a never ending smile on her face.
The children rushed to her. Hugging her from all the sides. She hugged them back happily.

They spent some good time in Happy Homes.

By noon they drove back home. Ramya was sitting in the hall when they walked inside.

"Finally. I was waiting for you two"

"What's it maa?"he asked

" Arjun..I Just met the priest today.He said day after tomorrow will be the right day for the engagement."

Aarohi and Arjun looked at each other

"Aunty.. engagement?"Aarohi asked

"This soon? But Maa.."

"Arjun i know. Its too early. But i don't think we should delay it anymore. Your nanna wants the same too"

"But aunty. Is engagement necessary? Why would we waste so much of money?" Aarohi asked. Arjun smiled at her. He knew she is not the one who like grand ceremonies and functions

"Aarohi. You don't need to worry about anything. I'm here right? And we dont make it all big. In presence of family and few friends  that's all"

Aarohi looked at Arjun who is lost in his thoughts. She nodded finally. Ramya caressed her hairs and walked away leaving them alone.

" Arjun"

He came to his senses and looked at her

"Yeah..?"

" I'm asking this again and again..Do you feel this is right..? I mean..i don't want you to regret if I..."

"Don't dare to say that again"he intruppted

She lowered her head to the ground making him sigh.

" I don't know how to make you understand Aarohi..You are important to me and to Nivi as well. Most important thing. This decision is ours. And still why are you worried?"

He saw tears in her eyes. Guessing she's hurt.

"I'm sorry Arjun"

He raised her chin with his finger and pulled her closer for a hug. Aarohi stood shocked. She never expected him to hug her now.

"Arjun.. Leave Me. What are you doing?"

"Shh. Everything will be alright"

She gave up and hugged him back. Smilingly. Thara watched them from the stairs. Her eyes were already red.

"You can't snatch him from me you bitch..I'll make him mine..I'll never let this engagement happen."

Arjun walked back to his room and saw nivi curled up in the bed. Already fast asleep. He sat next to her and kissed her forehead. Something is seriously bothering her and he knew it. She's not talking too much and keeps skipping her food.

He tried to cheer her up quite few times. Yet she was dull. And decided to give her some time

Deep inside. That little soul was trapped.  In a turmoil of emotions

Few more days passed by. A day before the engagement. Preparations were going on. Arjun and Aarohi didn't wanted it to be a big function. Thara on the other side had her own plans to never let the engagement happen.

Arjun was getting ready for the office as usual. He had to attend to an important meeting today. Aarohi had her day off. She wanted to spent her day in Happy Homes.

Adjusting his blazer he walked outside the room. Nivi ran behind him

"Nanna stop"

He stopped and looked at her.

"Baby?"

"I want to meet Aaru di..she said she'll not be coming today"

"You can meet her tomorrow baby. I have to go now. I'm getting late"

"Nanna.. please.I want to meet her now. Its important  "

Arjun sighed and took her in his arms.

"Fine. I will drop you there"

Aarohi sat next to Nivi with a plate of sweets

"Here goes. Your favourite. Come on have it" Aarohi forwarded a piece.

"No Aaru di. I don't want it"

"You can't say like that. I've made this specially for you"

" I'm not feeling well Aaru di"

Aarohi kept the sweets aside. And touched Nivis forehead and neck.

"What happened Baby? I've been noticing you for the past few days..What's wrong?"

Nivi looked at Aarohi teary eyed. She cupped her little cheeks.

"Nivi. What's it? I'm your Aaru di. You can share anything with me. What happened to you?"

Finally she couldn't take it anymore. She stood up from the couch and hugged Aarohi. She hugged her back tightly and patted her hairs

"Nivi?"

"Aaru di. My Amma...Amma died.."

Aarohi broke the hug halfly and touched her shivering face.

" What?"

"Amma died. Because of Thara aunty. She..she killed my Amma" she said making Aarohi freeze
