Recap - Nivis birthday celebration

Arjun stood up with a jerk from the couch when he heard Aarohis scream from the kitchen. He rushed inside the kitchen and bumped into Aarohi. Before he could realise she hugged him tightly. He stood bewildered

"Ms. Aarohi.?"

"Mr. Arjun.. Look there"she snuggled to his chest and pointed her fingers to a corner

"What happened?"

"Look there."

"Where?"

"Behind the oven..There's a cockroach"

He stood puzzled

"Seriously?"

"Look there.. Its coming towards us..I'm afraid"she held him tightly

"Ms. Aarohi.. Its just a cockroach"

"I'm afraid..Do something.. Please"

He sighed and noticed a long log  which was lying nearby

"Wait"

He leaned in and took it in his hands and aimed at the cockroach. She hugged him more tightly

"Ms. Aarohi..?"

"It will come towards us Mr. Arjun.."she held his chest. He let out a small chuckle

"It will not eat you.. Ms. Aarohi"

"No.."she snuggled closer to him

"Will you allow me to do something?" He glared at her and she came back to her senses. When she realised their position she moved back from him

Arjun looked around for the cockroach again and it was nowhere to be seen

"See..Told you right..it's nowhere"

Aarohi opened her eyes and bited her nails. She sighed in relief when she found the cockroach missing. Something lept away in between her feets and she gave and startled cry and bumped into him again

"Mr..Arjun. Cockroach"she almost cried. He held her shoulders and made her look straight. Seeing her hell - shocked face he couldn't hold it back anymore. He bursted out laughing

Aarohi looked at him and pouted. He held his stomach and laughed like nothing. Her lips curved into a smile seeing him laughing. 

He stopped laughing when he felt her gaze on him. She quickly lowered her head and smiled to herself.. He turned to leave

"Mr. Arjun?"

He stopped and looked at her.

"Laughing is not at all injurious to health. And you don't need to feel bad that you laughed in front of me"she smiled widely

He left without answering anything. Aarohi smiled to herself.

Arjun walked inside the room. He stood in front of the mirror and smiled. His lips curved into a small one and he quickly diverted himself. It's true that he forgot to smile all these years.

"Okay..now be a good girl and sleep okay" Aarohi patted Nivis hairs. Nivi held her palms tightly

"Aaru di.. please stay with me today.. Dont go"

"No baby..I should go..I promise I'll be here before you wake up tomorrow" Aarohi smiled and kissed Nivis forehead. Nivi nodded her head smilingly and closed her eyes to sleep. Aarohi gently cuddled her and she drifted off to sleep.

When she got up from the bed she noticed Arjun standing outside the room , staring at them. He quickly diverted his gaze and walked away. She took her bag and walked to the living room.

Arjun was waiting for her. She walked to him.

"I'm going..The dinner is kept ready in the table"she said

"Hm..Seetha ma will be joining back tomorrow"he said

"Okay..Fine.."she turned to leave

"Ms. Aarohi..?"

She stopped and looked at him. He whipped out the cheque from his pocket and gave it to her

"Your Salary"

Her face brightened as she took it from him. But soon her eyeballs popped out seeing the amount

"One Lakh? Mr.. Arjun?" She looked at him shocked

"Not for you.. For the kids staying in your home. After all you're taking care of my daughter"

Her eyes moistened. She felt like flying in the air. He noticed it and turned his face away.

"Thank..You so much. This means a lot to us.."she wiped the corner of her eyes

"You don't need to thank me. When divya told me about you and your doings. I've been planning to do this. I know as a donation you won't accept it. So I thought it will be good to give it as a Salary"

She just smiled at his words

"And unknowingly I've hurted you so many times. I'm sorry for that too."

Before she could speak her phone rang.

"Thank you Mr. Arjun..I should leave now" she said and he nodded. She smiled and walked outside the house.

Aarohi walked inside her house with a pleasant smile. The hall was completely empty. Everyone else had slept. She walked inside her room and sat on the bed , still smiling. She couldn't believe that Arjun had finally apologised for his mistakes.

"Someone is lost in another world" Divyas voice brought her back to her sense. Aarohi looked up and saw her standing besides the door , folding her arms across her chest.

"What?"

"Angel..whats wrong huh..I've been trying you over the phone for the past 1 hour"

Aarohi sat silently , smiling like a idiot. Divya walked towards her and sat besides her.

"Hello..I'm talking to you"she shook her

Aarohi hit herself and whipped out the cheque from her bag and gave it to Divya. Divya widened her eyes and gazed at Aarohi who sat smiling

"Mr. Arrogant?'

Aarohi happily nodded

"I can't believe this"

"I just misunderstood him Divya. He's a very nice person and you know what..he apologised to me."

"Ahem.. So that's why you were lost huh?" Divya chuckled and received a glare from Aarohi

"When Arun mentioned this before I thought he's over imagining things" Divya giggled

"What do you mean?"

"Ms. Aarohi..you are falling for Mr. Arrogant" Divya said making Aarohi widen her eyes. She took the nearby pillow and  hit Divya with it

"Shut up"

"No Angel..I mean it"

Aarohi sighed

"It's not Love Divya..I told him that I respect him a lot and with this act my respect towards Mr. Arjun had just increased"

"Okay..now listen to me carefully okay. A day before Nivis birthday you were deeply disturbed thinking about Mr. Arjun right. When I questioned it you escaped cleverly. Today i need to know..Whats bothering you?"

"Divya.."

"I said..I want to know"

Aarohi sighed and narrated the entire incident. Divya looked at her completely shocked

"I don't know why..he behaved to me like that "

"Oh God..Angel Mr. Arjun do have feelings for you"

"Shut up Divya..the thing is.He kissed me thinking that I'm Kavya.."

"Exactly..what does that mean. He could see Kavya through you"

"Divya..he's a very good person okay and I'm just his employee..right now I don't have any right to interfere in his personal life"

"You never Did Angel. See..I know you from my childhood and for the first time I'm seeing you like this. Too much involved in someone's life. Too much caring for a person who always hurted you"

Aarohi had no answer. Ever since she'd heard Arjuns past , her hatred towards him had vanished completely

"Angel..Right now I'm not forcing you. Okay.? Take your time and think. You'll get an answer for everything"

Divya walked outside the room , leaving Aarohi in a trauma
