Recap - Arjuns Past ( proposal and marriage )

After few months....

Arjun lay on the bed blankly flipping through the TV channels. Kavya stood in the balcony , busy talking with someone over the phone

"Kavya...are you coming here or should I come there?" He called out.

She disconnected the call after few minutes and walked towards him with a bright smile

"Sorry..."she pouted. He turned his face away. She sat next to him. He continued flipping through the channels. She moved closer to him

"Don't come near me"he warned her

"Really..?"she snuggled closer to him and rested her head in his chest. He smiled and put his arms around her shoulder and dragged her towards him.

"Arjun?"

"Hm.."

"Arjun.."

"What's it kavya..?"he stroked her hairs.

"You know what? Youre the best husband in this world"she kissed his chest. He smiled at her

"What happened to my wife suddenly? "

"Answer me first... aren't you?"she asked pinching his hands

"Of course I'm"he chuckled

"Hm...and I know you'll be the best father too"she smiled widely

It took him few seconds to understand what she said. He broke the hug and looked at her

"What?"he screamed. She Chuckled and kissed his cheek

"Congratulations Arjun. Youre going to become a father"

Tears of happiness rolled down from his cheeks. Hers as well. He pulled her closer for a bone crushing hug

"Arjun..?"

"Kavya...we are going to become parents"he said and wiped his tears. She hugged him tightly

"Yes Arjun.."

He broke the hug , wiped her tears with his thumb and kissed her forehead

"Thank you for everything"

The excitement and happiness of the being parents filled Arjuns and kavyas life. He took utmost care of her. And treated her like a Baby. The love kavya received from Arjuns family was limitless. Ramya stuffed her with food. Raj already started filling their room with toys and baby dresses.

"See..drink this a bit more" Ramya forwarded a glass of juice. Since it was Kavyas 8th Month , Arjun and his parents was always by her side.

"Maa...I can't..if I drink this I'll throw up again" Kavya pouted caressing her baby bump

"See Maa..how your stubborn daughter is behaving" Arjun chuckled. Kavya glared at him.

" Arjun..we should not force her either" Ramya smiled caressing her hairs

"Yess...I got it" Raj screamed

Everyone looked at him.

"Got what?" Arjun asked

"A name for your baby" Raj raised his collar and smiled

"Wow...tell me" Kavya said excitedly

"Here it goes.. ANJALI" Raj announced proudly.

Arjun face palmed himself and Kavya sighed. Raj Looked at them and pouted

"Wasn't that good?"

"That's a common name Raj" Ramya sighed

"Ohh" he sat back on the couch disappointed

"I'll find another one Then" he said

"No need..I've already selected a name for my baby" Arjun said happily. Kavya looked at him questioningly. He placed a small kiss on her belly

"She's my baby. Nivika Arjun Devanand"

The baby shower was conducted in presence of both the families. The elders blessed the soon - to - be parents.

That night , Kavya turned and tossed in her bed. Few days ago the baby had kicked when Arjun had his palms on her belly. He'd tears of happiness and he hugged her as tight as he can.

She couldn't sleep a wink since the baby kept in kicking her. She turned towards Arjun and found him fast asleep. Without disturbing him she managed to get out of the bed and stood in the balcony , staring at the night.

After a while Arjun stirred from his sleep and searched for Kavya. He found her standing in the balcony. He walked towards her and wrapped his hands around her belly. She smiled, feeling him.

"Why are you standing here..? "He kept his chin on her shoulder

"Because your baby Angel is continuously kicking her poor mumma"she pouted

"Really? She's like me Kavya. She's a champion"

"Hello sir...how do you know that the baby is a girl"

He smiled

"I don't know Kavya. But I feel so."

"Arjun..you love our baby more than me right" she faked anger. He laughed and nuzzled his nose in her neck

"Kavya..you and our baby are the pieces of my heart and youre bringing happiness into my life. So you both are equally important to me. Stop being jealous of my baby"

She smiled at him.

"Arjun...if something happens to me..will you take care of our baby" she asked seriously. He moved back from her

"Shut up kavya..How dare you say that?"he shouted.

"Arjun..I was just Jocking"she chuckled. He grabbed her closer and hugged her

"Nothing will happen to you. We'll together raise our baby."

She smiled and kissed his forehead

"I know Arjun"

He grabbed her closer again and hugged her. With his other palm he caressed her belly.

Few More memorable days passed by in their life.

Kavya sat on the bed caressing her belly. Arjun sat on the floor , massaging her legs. She smiled at him.

"Arjun.. leave it. Im okay now. Don't touch my feet "

"Sh..I know the pain is still there. Don't lie madam "

She smiled at him. A sharp pain hit her abdomen. She clutched his shoulder tightly as tears rolled down her cheeks. Her head swam and her breath got rapid

"Arjun"she screamed. He looked up at her. She clutched her belly

"Kavya..?"

"Arjun...it's paining.."she held his hands tightly.

"Raj.." Arjun screamed as he took her in his arms.

Kavya was rushed to the hospital. Arjun placed her on the stretcher .Kavya held his palms tightly and screamed in pain. He kissed her forehead as they took her inside.

Few minutes passed by. He sat on the bench , tensed. Ramya and Satya kept praying for the baby. Raj consoled them.

Arjuns eyes glued to the operation theatre. The doctor came out after half an hour. He stood up and rushed towards the doctor

"  Congratulations Mr. Arjun.. it's a baby girl for you"

Arjun beamed in happiness as his family hugged him. Soon they bought the baby to him , wrapped in a hospital cloth. Tears rolled down his cheeks. Arjun hesitated to take her in his hands.

"What happened sir.? "The nurse asked

"No..She is so small.  What if she falls down from my hands?"

"No sir. I will help you"she slowly placed the baby in his arms. He hugged her close , placing a small kiss on her gentle forehead

The baby looked at him lovingly And circled her little palm on his forefinger. He smiled with Tears.

"My Angel.. "

Arjun walked inside the room where kavya lay on the bed. He sat besides her and kissed her forehead. She opened her eyes feeling his touch

"See..Kavya..our baby"

Kavya looked at the baby in his arms and smiled with tears. The nurse helped her to sit straight. He showed the baby to her. She gently touched her little cheeks and smiled.

Kavya took the baby in her arms. Arjun put his arms around her shoulder. They smiled , looking at their little one.

Little Nivi filled their lives with Joy. Happiness spreaded in their lives. The house was already on fire. Ramya and Satya were the happiest to get a cute and lovely granddaughter. Raj became more lazy and roams around Nivi all the time

Arjun skips his office almost all the time. How much ever kavya forces him , he never fails to  find time for his little one. She gave up after a while

With their little one. They witnessed heaven on earth.

Kavya sat on the bed with Nivi in her hands. Arjun was sitting besides them , busy with his laptop

"Hello..sir..see how my baby is looking at her nanna.."kavya said playing with Nivis nose.

Arjun smiled without taking his eyes from the laptop

"Na..n.na" Nivi made a sound making Both kavya and Arjun widen their eyes in surprise.

"Arjun...you heard that?" Kavya asked surprised

Nivi showed a small grin at her parents

"My baby" he smiled brightly and took her in his arms. Playing with her , he kissed her little cheeks. Kavya smiled widely and captured the moment in her heart

The saddest thing about love is that , it cannot last forever
