Nico was furious, Will was doing it again. Nico knows he can be cute and, yes, overprotective, but this was too far. And oh Styx! He had forgotten that Peter was standing right there! Gods he was stupid, he wanted to have one normal friend, but no Reyna had to just bust into my new school life and ruin it. And what in the Hades was going on with the new Great Prophecy. He had no desire to go see Percy after telling him he used to have a crush on him, whatsoever.

Well, how do you tell your mortal friend that they're a half god?

Reyna turned to Nico, "He can't come. He's mortal." She was serious.

"Ya, I know. " Nico was done arguing. Especially if it was a prophecy they are dealing with.

"But I want to come." Peter replied. Nico could see he was scared but too curious to care, just like him in a way.

There was silence as everyone waited for my response. But Will broke the silence, "Nico are you sure he's mortal?"

Nico was not in the mood to talk to Will, but he was right Nico never checked. "No."

"We could check but we should go outside so we don't attract attention," Reyna offered, noticing the small crowd that had formed from the noise they had made.

"How?" Nico asked as Will shooed the group of bystanders away.

"We'll use my dogs."

"But he's not claimed is he though?" Nico glanced at Peter, "I think."

"Claimed? What's that?" Peter asked as he was pushed out the doors to the front courtyard. Reyna went first and made a classic New York taxi whistle. Peter didn't know what was happening and Nico whispering "Don't eat anything she gives you," didn't help.

I'm not sure how but two metallic dogs appeared in a small poof of smoke. No mist. Reyna snapped her fingers and they walked towards Peter. Intimidated he started to move back a couple steps.

"Don't worry, this won't hurt you. Too much anyway," she said as she motioned him to stay still. standing still he watched as the silver and gold hounds circled him Reyna asked him some questions. "Just answer the questions as truthfully as possible and you should be fine," was his warning before she started. Making Peter wonder what would happen if he didn't, a glance of the dogs' teeth gave him a good idea though.

"How old are you?"

"14"

Do you know who both your parents are?

Yes

Do you live with them

Yes. But why-

Do you have any siblings

1 younger one

have weird things happened to or around you before

Like what?

"Ummm," Reyna paused, "like people like listening to you, water avoids hurting you, you have exceptional talents in something no one can understand..." She glanced a Nico and spoke more softly, "You feel comfortable around the dead or can communicate with them."

"Reyna. No." Nico said looking slightly peeved

Peter thought, "Ummm," he never liked to talk about this stuff. "I-I can fight well, but that might be because I got beat up a lot, and uh," He bit his lips, "I can see matches. But don't tell anyone! It's weird." He looked down.

"Matches?" Reyna said what looked to be everyone's question. It surprised Peter to hear their interest like it was normal to talk about it.

"Uh. Ya, you know like couples, soul mates. They look like what you call the red string of fate."

Nico shot a glance at him and Will then kept staring at Peter. Noticing this Peter answers Nico's silent question, "Yes all of yours, I never wanted to pry on why you hung out with me instead of with the end of your string." He turned to Will, "I kinda see why. You attract a lot of attention and Nico seems better in more uncrowded areas."

Will and Nico looked at each other and blush. Reyna was deep in thought. "You should bring him and get him claimed before he gets found out. Dyonus should be able to tell if he's not claimed hopefully," she said after a bit.

A/N Wow look at that... two updates in a row.

To be perfectly honest though I'm bored and these were mostly done anyways.

I may add another but that kinda depends on how much I'm willing to sleep... or not. Probably a slight insomniac at this point but who cares right?
