Mr. SHES GONNA KICK MY ASS
"And, given the circumstance, Lucien qualifies as both friend and foe, and according to Freya's prophecy-" He hears his brothers voice before Elijah cuts him off.
"You are to beware both friend and foe. But, let us not forget family, Niklaus."
Gabriel walks into the study and notices Klaus pausing as a flash of hurt rolls over his face. "Good, Gabriel you're here. We have an impending doom over all of our heads saying we are all to fall. One by friend, one by foe, one by family, and one by lover. Lucien's two out of four, I say we put him down. Just like old times."
"Just like old times? Brother, I wonder who among our family do you suppose has the greatest predilection for betrayal?" Elijah hums in a sarcastic manner.
"If I may cut into your squabble, I had a visit yesterday afternoon from an old acquaintance. Goes by the name of Olivia Martel." He huffs.
Both brothers eyebrows raise. "Well I suppose we know who is going down by lover."
Gabriel rolls his eyes.
"Now, before we murder Lucien, there are certain questions that need to be answered. Chiefly, what is he doing here?" Elijah interrupts again.
"And the wolf venom... Why would he lie to you, his sire if he is only here to protect you. One would think he would offer his full compliance." Gabriel muses not buying any of this for a second.
"I'm afraid we might have to resort to something deliciously medieval here, brothers." Elijah smirks as he fiddles with one of Klaus' paintbrushes.
"We?" I take it you will lower yourself to associate with your bastard brother?" Niklaus smiles. "Have you finally forgiven me?"
Elijah looks thoughtful. "I will consider it...When Hayley forgives you, Gia rises from the dead, and hell freezes over. For now, however, let's just hope your little friendship with Lucien doesn't disrupt our mission."
After that he spares Gabriel his own glare and swiftly leaves the room.
He notices his brother gaping at where he had left.
"And people think ,we, the Mikaelsons are so indestructible." He solemnly shakes his head and chuckles. "All they must do is look on the inside and see we're all already destroyed. And no foe or lover was ever needed to do it. We do it to each other."
Gabriel is in his study with his feet kicked on his desk as he writes in his journal. He raises his brows when Davina and Kol slam the door straight open.
"Daughter." He drawls out about to scold her for slamming his door before noticing the sheer panic on her face. He removes his feet and sits straight. "What's happened?"
"Caroline's dying."
"Pardon?" He blinks.
"The baby vampire is dying for Christ sake, Gabriel!" Kol repeats frantically.
"No..." He shakes his head. "She's in Mystic Falls, pregnant."
Davina walks up to the desk and slams her hands down in frustration. "We don't have time for your denial. Her pregnancy is what is causing her death. The baby is a syphon and it's syphoning her vampirism."
"How do you know this?" He demands looking between the two realizing this was no scheme to get him to answer the woman's calls.
"I got an interesting call from a certain Salvatore brother saying my big brothers been dodging his calls and that you may want to know what's going on. You compelled Caroline to never come back to New Orleans so they sedated her for the car ride here. They should be here this afternoon." Kol summarizes.
"Why would they bring her here?" He questions, his brain now going haywire knowing New Orleans was not safe. It was hard enough protecting Hope from everything let alone another newborn.
"Bonnie Bennett attempted a spell to stop the syphoning and it syphoned her magic instead and nearly killed her." Davina explains what she had heard from the call. "Not to mention something about heretics and Kai Parker."
"I killed him." Gabriel swears.
"Or he had vampire blood in him." Davina adds.
"And I created a heretic." Gabriel grumbles.
"You're the most powerful witch they know." Kol sighs. "They didn't have any one else to go to. She will die if you don't do something."
"Don't worry." Gabriel sighs. "I already know how to help."
Davina blanches. "How?"
"The ruby necklace I gave Kol." He begins explaining. "It allowed him to draw from my magic if he was ever in need..."
"If she wears it her body can supply it to the baby." Kol realizes.
"Correct." Gabriel groans.
"Shouldn't you be happier that the woman you love is coming back?" Davina exclaims in disbelief.
"Don't fool your self little witch. I have missed her dearly. I'm merely preparing myself." He says.
"For what?" She questions.
"For Caroline Forbes to kick my ass."
The three Mikaelson brothers waltz into Lucien's apartment intent on questioning the man a bit more on his intentions.
"Lucien...Come out, come out, wherever you are." Klaus taunts.
A woman suddenly walks into the living room with a sly smile. Gabriel narrows his eyes at the odd trace of magic he can feel off of her. His eyes slightly widen. Seer.
"I'm afraid you missed him." She sympathizes.
"Where is he?" Klaus demands.
"At the police station. A detective, Kinney, had some questions for him." She looks thoughtful but they all send her skeptical looks.
"And he allowed himself to be arrested?" Elijah questions.
She smugly smiles. "He has nothing to hide."
"Lucien's occupied. Perhaps we should entertain ourselves right here?" Gabriel suggests with an innocent gleam in his eyes. His brothers both smile at him and take a seat.
The woman simply looks amused and raises a brow.
"How much longer is this going to take?" Klaus complains as she mixes some herbs.
"Elijah and Gabriel can begin now, but just us. Sadly, I've already shown you what visions of yours I've managed to divine."
"The warning was for all of us friend, foe, lover and family. I'd like to see theirs, please." He smugly responds.
She looks on the three curiously. "Since family is one of your concerns, and you two are brothers, are you so sure you want to see what I have to show you?"
"Oh, I never could resist a good spoiler." Gabriel smirks.
Both of his brothers grab a wrist and Gabriel moved her hair to the side. She stares at Gabriel in particular before all three sink their teeth into her.
In the visions, there is another flash of a page from a spell book, which is covered in unintelligible writing around two pentacles drawn on either end of the page. It then flashes to the Mikaelson compound's living room, where the portrait of Elijah has been splashed with a fount of blood, which drips down the length of the painting and onto the frame. The vision cuts to Marcel, who is on his knees on the floor of what looks like St. Louis Cathedral and wiping at a cut on his face as someone stands over him.
A vision of a greying Caroline laying in the back of a car is shown. Then the vision flashes over to the police department, where Lucien is seen stroking the palm of Cami's hand in the interrogation room, as though he's reading the lines. Cami looks nervous as he does so.
Just then, the sight of Lucien with Cami and a nearly dead Caroline shocks Klaus and Elijah so much that they snap Alexis' neck as they're pulling away from her. Concerned, Elijah gently lays her body down on the table, taking care not to drop her on the candles.
"Well, at least your visions were specific. It seems Lucien has intentions for Camille." Klaus growls protectively.
"And what of Marcel, family and friend? Where do his loyalties lie?" Elijah looks more confused than ever before glancing to Gabriel. "What is Caroline and why is she appearing in these visions? Is she the lover who will bring your end?"
"Find him and question him." Klaus demands. "Is Caroline here in New Orleans?"
"She will be." Gabriel responds, still partially shocked at the sight of Caroline.
Klaus turns to leave.
"And where are you going?" Elijah questions.
"I'm going to eliminate an old friend before he gets his teeth into my therapist!" And klaus is gone.
