Gabriel warily stands beside Caroline as they all stand in front of a paling Camille. Gabriel had heard the woman calling his brother's name as she entered the compound. Klaus calling his name seconds later, what he and Caroline discovered made his stomach drop. She was bitten, they had obviously pissed Lucien off and this was his revenge. 

Klaus gently applies a cloth to the woman's bite mark making her wince in pain. "Ow, ow, what is that?"

"It's a healing salve. Motherwort, white willow bark, the recipe's over a thousand years old." Freya gives her a small strained smile. 

"So the good stuff, huh?" Camilla jokes. 

Gabriel sighs. "It will ease the pain, dull the symptoms, but it won't stop the infection."

"So I'm screwed?" She looks around at the group tearfully. 

Caroline rubs her shoulder with a sympathetic look. "We're gonna do everything that we can, Cami."

Elijah enters the room with Vincent. "To that end, a little assistance."

Vincent quickly joins the dying blonde's side and sniffles. "Cami, I'm so sorry."

Klaus stands and begins to advance on the witch but Gabriel quickly stops him with a hand to his shoulder. "You should be, this is your fault. It was you who turned Lucien into a beast."

"He had no choice, Niklaus." Gabriel sighs as Camille tells Klaus the same thing. 

"Cami's right. We all need to work together to fix this." Hayley tells the hybrid. 

Klaus nods solemnly. "Yeah, yeah I think I know how to fix it. Lucien has always been obsessed with me, he made himself like me, my bite is cured by my blood."

"You think his blood can save her?" Gabriel looks at him slightly impressed at the thought. "It can't be far off." 

"It makes sense." Elijah nods. 

Camille looks at the hybrid with hopeful eyes. "Lucien's blood is all over my apartment, I sliced him all to hell before I ran." 

Vincent stands to leave. "Okay, I got this one, Lucien's got no reason to be on the lookout for me." 

Gabriel stops him before he leaves. "Call if you need anything, alright?" 

Vincent looks at him slightly surprised but nods his head. Gabriel would do anything to help his family, and right now Klaus needed them. 

"Maybe we hedge our bets. Hope is a Mikaelson witch who carries the wolf gene, we already know that she's got healing powers." Hayley tells the group. 

Gabriel bites his wrist and allows the blood to flow into an empty cup and hands it to the blonde. "No need to bother my niece." 

Klaus and Camille look at him thankfully. She quickly gulps it down and they watch as slight color returns to her skin but the bite doesn't heal. 

Hayley turns to leave. "It doesn't hurt to try." 

"I will come to you right now." Gabriel tells Davina over the phone when she fills him in on Kol. 

"No!" She immediately denies. "You need to be with Cami and Nik right now trying to find a way to help her." 

"I prefer to solve a problem before it becomes one and right now it looks like Kol's condition is going to become a big one." Gabriel rubs the bridge of his nose. 

"Me and aunt Bonnie have this handled, dad." She sighs, not letting her father know that Bonnie had stepped out to deal with her own stuff and that she was on her way to confront Lucien. 

"Let me speak to Bonnie." Gabriel sighs in anxiousness. 

Davina looks around nervously. "I can't. She's in the middle of preforming a spell." 

"What spell?" Gabriel questions in confusion. He didn't remember the Bennett telling him about any solution she had come up with. After having the ancestors controlling his own mind he had placed barriers up in his mind to prevent it from happening again but they were already in Kol's mind and they hadn't come up with a solution to get them out once they're already there. 

"I'm not sure, she said she wanted to try it before telling you." Davina lies. 

"Alright." Gabriel looks around his room in the compound realizing he hadn't seen his own apartment in what felt like weeks. "I miss the days we all hid out in the apartment and no one bothered our little family." 

On the other line Davina softly smiles. "Me too, Dad." 

"I love you, little witch." Gabriel smiles as Lizzie begins babbling in her crib. "You must come visit soon, it's been a few days and Lizzie is having withdraws from her older sister." 

"Is Lizzie or are you?" Caroline walks into the room and jokes. Davina laughs hearing this in the back round. 

Gabriel rolls his eyes. "You two always team up on me. You just wait until Lizzie can speak and then it'll be over for you both." 

"I think she'll side with Mom and her big sister." Davina scoffs. "Okay, Dad I gotta go. I love you, tell mom I love her too and i'll stop by tomorrow." 

"I love you too and I will."  Gabriel shoves the phone back into his pocket. "Davina said she loves you and that she will come visit tomorrow. I offered to come to her and Kol but she said she and Bonnie had it under control." 

Caroline nods and frowns with her next statement. "I am worried about Klaus. Cami is not getting any better and he..." 

"Loves her?" He offers and she nods. He pulls her into his arms. 

"I just wish there was something we could do." 

"If it were you in that bed there isn't anything I wouldn't do to save you." Gabriel sighs into her hair. "There is always a way, some loophole. But I don't know if we have enough time."

Gabriel walks past the bedroom that Klaus and Cami were in, knowing he was in her mind with her while she deteriorated in reality and joins Freya, Marcel, and Vincent who are downstairs. 

"She's getting worse." Freya somberly tells the group. 

Vincent nods nervously. "Okay, then we, uh, we gotta try something else. Marcel? The Strix. You mean to tell me they can't help with this?"

Marcel sighs in exasperation. "The Strix don't have a solution for something that's never existed before."

"Lucien engineered a pure strain of wolf venom, designed to kill even an Original.. It may be that there is no cure." Freya tells them honestly. 

"Well I'm not giving up." Vincent determindly tells the three. 

"Neither are we." Gabriel firmly tells him. 

"Okay, um, blood magic's not working. So what else is there?"

Hayley and Elijah enter the room with Hope on her hip. "How about a magical, miracle baby?" 

"We can try." Vincent nods. "Speaking of magical babies, what if Elizabeth siphoned the bite?" 

Gabriel shakes his head. "No, she's a baby. She's not old enough to properly expel the power once she's taken it so it may harm her." 

They watch as Freya injects a needle into Cami's bite and notice nothing was happening. "Anything?" Elijah questions though he feels that he already knows the answer. 

Freya shakes her head and wipes a fallen tear. "I've tried everything that I know, including the power that resides in the blood of our niece. The infection has spread everywhere, there is nothing more we can do. Klaus can ease her pain, but.. she won't last much longer."

Vincent approaches. "Freya, we gotta do something, alright? So channel me, cast a healing spell, and that will buy us time."

"It won't stop the inevitable." Gabriel tells the man with a head shake. 

"Okay then put her soul in that damn pendant. It worked for Finn, it will work." He begins wildly gesturing. 

"Dahlia crafted the pendant, it will only work for our family. I could put her soul in another body..?" Freya offers but he denies. "No, she'd have to agree for the transfer to hold and she wouldn't do that to an innocent person. Not even to save herself." 

" Well, maybe we worry about that later." Freya sarcastically suggests. 

"We cannot deny her the dignity of choice. Camille lived with grace, she will have it now with Klaus at her side. That's what she would want." Gabriel sighs as he stares at his unmoving brother. 

Gabriel stands solemnly in the courtyard with the group as everyone takes turns saying goodbye to Camille. Caroline joins his side with tears in her eyes as she finishes up her turn. She had brought Lizzie to say goodbye and couldn't believe they were about to burry another person so close to Finn's death. Gabriel kisses the top of her head and pulls her into his arms hoping to provide some comfort as Hayley enters the room with Hope. Suddenly the whole quarter begins shaking and Gabriel steadily holds Caroline and Lizzie to keep them stable as everyone looks around. 

Gabriel closes his eyes as he takes a deep breath in feeling the magic surround them. Suddenly something happens and his eyes snap open as he stares at the wall trying to figure out what the feeling that just washed over him was. 

Caroline and Hayley watch as his face begins to pale and his eyes seem to dim. 

"Gabriel, what is it?"Hayley worriedly questions as she shares a look with the blonde. 

He doesn't respond. His hands fall from Caroline's waist and Lizzie's little back. 

"Gabriel?" Caroline gasps as he falls to one knee, still staring blankly at the wall. 

"Call Bonnie." He whispers as he grabs at his heart.
