This is my brother scout Joaquim. He was my first elder brother. He teach me what is to be a young man. He sow me his first love and His nine brothers. The difficulties of life. To be independent but with responsibility.

In the first time of my existence I understood that exists people that are different, indeed. But even so, they have many aspects to teach to nice boys and girls, where sustainability was not a problem. To live is hard to everyone, because future is always a surprise. A scout must be prepared to handle with all surprises, good or bad.

Now, decades after, all that conversations, laughs, discussions and Baden Powell's Scouting for Boys, are memories very real, present in my thoughts, and my feelings. I never see a person by his religion, color, country or social condition.

To be a Scout, I have learned, that we must be prepared to all challenges of life, and thank Good for every day, every meal, because we don't know the «tomorrow».

One of the most important things that we learned in scouting was the life of Lord Baden Powell of Guilwell. In fact we was a military but in the war context, he saw the importance of young people, mainly boys, to help the tropes in several tasks. And he understood that this responsibility help the education, because are outside of home and the traditional school.

Saint Paul, was a tremendous persecutor of Christians. But he became the main religious teachers of the first stage of Christian era. And the man recognize in St Paul one of the most important references of Christian Liturgy.

The fact that Baden Powell fight against Zulus or even the Bowers, following the superior instructions of British Army, don't destroy the image of all the work done, after to develop the education of children and young people.

So to see the destruction of the image of Baden Powell, only could be an accident or a mistake, because this person, in particular, teaches and defend the tolerance between every man or woman in the planet.
