Scattered Snippets and Bits: Part 1
I faintly remember small short glimpses of my past when I was younger. They aren't much, but they're something I guess.
I remember one time as a toddler, I was in the living room of my aunt Jay's house or my grandpa Sean's house (pronounced as "seen" not "Shawn"). I was lying on the carpet with him on our stomachs and I was terribly scribbling the coloring page of a tiger. I think he was trying to teach me how to color in the lines, so basically how to use a coloring book I guess. I think I was about 2-3 back then.
I remember one of my worst, yet not at all a bad one, dream ever. I'm not sure why, but this freaked me out when I was younger and then fascinated me or something. The parts of the dream I remember were basically our house was like merged into a large red sandstone-like rock/hill. It was stormy, but not raining, more just super windy with little rain. Anyway, the parts I remember start with me looking around the side of the rock house, in the middle of a panicked rush due to the oncoming storm, looked and saw the dinosaur, Little Foot, and his friends (they're basically from an old cartoon movie series called The Land Before Time and I loved the series when I was younger) being chased by a Sharp Tooth (that's what a T-Rex was called in the series). Then multiple T-rex and giant raptor-like dinosaurs raid the house area. I freak out and run away and eventually make my way back to the house only to find my brother and my mom gone, and my dad beaten sitting at a rock table outside the house. I went up to him and asked what happened and where the others were. My dad was crying terribly, practically bawling. His eyes were both swelled up and purple and he was covered in severe scratch marks, and tears poured out of the edges of his swollen-shut eyes. He had said to me in a defeated, pathetic voice, "Th-They took your mom and I don't know where your brother went, I'm so so sorry, Ay! I tried to fight them but they poked both my eyes and clawed me I-I felt so helpless as I heard her scream as they carried her away, I'm so glad your safe, but please forgive me!" His shattered please were the last thing I heard before I woke up hours before my alarm was to go off. I was in my first elementary school when this dream had first occurred, and it has replayed a few times over the course of my life so far.
