"You're my baby," A woman's gentle tone reached the young girl's little ears; she could barely open her [e/c] eyes. The woman that was rubbing the girl's back while she curled up in her lap seemed to have a magical touch, making the little girl relax to the point of not being able to fight her sleep. "You'll grow up to be an excellent hero, even better than me or papa ever were." The woman smiled her sweet smile, "Though your quirk is not everything, you were blessed with an exceptional one."

The feeling the girl had with them was an unfamiliar one. Like she was floating on air. "Our powerful little baby." The girl began to smile against her own will. It felt as if she was genuinely happy when the two familiar strangers that were smiling down at her.

'I remembered it... I remembered it all.'

[Y/n] was born into a normal family. They weren't rich nor poor. [Y/n]'s mother, Aiko, was a beautiful woman who [Y/n] looked similar to. Her Quirk was pretty powerful, she wielded fire. She used to entertain her family with enormous fire shows in their backyard.

My father, Naoki, was a handsome man with powerful strength as a Quirk. He, Aiko and [Y/n] would take trips to the forest to watch him punch down trees.

[Y/n] was an overly emotional child. She had a habit of crying when she's overwhelmed with worry.

She cried with worry when her father broke his arm.

"It's fine, [Y/n]! Look!" Her father cheered while wiggling his fingers through his medical cast.

"But...But...Papa..." [Y/n] said between sniffles. Her father patted her head and gave his daughter a reassuring smile. "Give Papa a smile, and he'll feel all better." Her father said.

"Okay, Papa..." [Y/n] said and smiled, forcefully. She obtained her Quirk when she turned one year old. Her parents were worried about this, but the doctor said that it was normal since she had a rare Quirk. [Y/n] showed early signs of being a hero.

Her mother was impressed and proud of this.  [Y/n] would watch people use their quirks and engrave them into her memories.

She would stop car chases, caught robbers, the typical low-crimes that the big named heroes didn't have time for. Although, she wasn't supposed to being using her Quirk.

She was smart for a child. She could come up with plans that worked on all the crimes. Some people called her dangerous and a threat to society, but her parents didn't care [Y/n] was their world, and, in their world, she was a superhero.

"Mama, Mama! Hurry! It's computer time!" [Y/n] bothered her mother as she cooked dinner.

"Again...Jeez." Aiko said and turned on [Y/n]'s favorite video. It was of All Might when he debuted as a hero.

"Mama! Do you like I can be like that?!" She said happily while pointing at the screen.

"You can be anything you want. Just promise me, you won't let anyone take your dreams away." Aiko said with a smile, and she kissed her daughter's forehead.

"Yay! I'm going to be like All Might with a smile on my face. I'll be able to protect you and Papa!" [Y/n] cheered and dance around.

"That's right!" Naoki cheered and picked her up. "And we're going to cheer you on every time we see you on TV. It's going to be: Go [Y/n]!" He cheered.

"Go [Y/n]!" Aiko grained the cheered with a plate in her hand.

[Y/n] smiled. "And when I make a lot of money, Imma take Mama and Papa around the world!" [Y/n] announced. "Yay!" Her parents cheered.

They were happy until.... the accident.

Naoki and [Y/n] driving home from the grocery store on her third birthday until a dark figure landed in front of the car.

"What the..." Naoki mumbled. The figure shot electricity into the ground. The energy transferred into the car and caused the engine and the tires to explode. The figure disappeared in the darkness.

Nearby civilians called the ambulance and police to come to the scene. Aiko was extremely worried about her family when she had seen what happened.

[Y/n]'s little body in the back seat, took the explosion directly, and she was rushed to the hospital immediately. But there were complications.

"WE'RE LOSING HER!!"

"THE IV WON'T FLOW!"

"SAVE MY DAUGHTER!"

Naoki, on the other hand, had a few scratches and bruises, but he was fine. While [Y/n] was put on life support. After [Y/n]'s father recovered, he waited in his daughters hospital room.

Suddenly, the window of the room shattered and two people broke in.

"We'll be taking our Golden Child now." [Y/n]'s villain father said and wiped Naoki's memories. All his memories of [Y/n] were gone. The villain pulled all of the wires and oxygen mask off of [Y/n].

She was taken away. Someplace she couldn't recognize. [Y/n] was kept there. Blood was taken. Experiments were done.

[Y/n] thought she was doing to die.

[Y/n]'s eyes slowly opened. She was laying in her bed at home.

"Mama? Papa?" [Y/n] muttered, rubbing her eyes. Then a woman came in. "Oh [Y/n], dear, you're awake." She said and patted my head. "Mama!" [Y/n] cheered with a bright smile.

The woman glared at [Y/n] then slapped her. "Address me with respect, not with your childish greetings." She demanded.

As time went on, they continued to beat [Y/n] when she showed any sort of emotion. [Y/n] grew dull and emotionless...Lifeless even.

"Why are you playing alone?" [Y/n] heard and looked up.

It was a green hair and green-eyed boy. "I'm Midoriya Izuku. What's your name?" The boy smiled brightly as he had out his hand to [Y/n].

Izuku...

Her hero...

He showed [Y/n] how good it felt to be kind to someone. The feelings that she couldn't express to her family were only showed to Izuku on occasion. Katsuki helped her experience standing up for others when they needed it.

When they entered junior high together, Izuku grew timid, causing Katsuki to pick on him more. Resulting in [Y/n] having to stand up for Izuku more often, labeling her as Izuku's side-kick.

Even Cho would mess with him every time she sees him. "Still a Quirkless loser. Maybe Bakugo was right. You're never going to be a hero. You have no place here." Cho said as we walked home together.

"Sister, just leave him alone. Izu-chan can be a hero without a Quirk. He'll be rare." [Y/n] said, blankly, as they came to the intersection. [Y/n] was about to walk towards Izuku's house.

"Where do you think you're going?" Cho said as she grabbed [Y/n]'s arm, "We're going out."

"Sorry, Izu-chan." [Y/n] said, and Izuku waved it off.

"I-It's fine. Go have fun." Izuku said.

Cho and [Y/n] went to change their clothes and headed to the bar. "Here we have our regulars! Cho and [Y/n]." The guy announced as we walked on stage. Cho winked at the crowd of grown men while [Y/n] stood there with a blank face.

The crowd cheered. But only cheering [Y/n]'s name..."They want an encore, [Y/n]-san!"

[Y/n] sighed, "No, Thank you." She said, setting the mic down, and walked off stage. Cho and [Y/n] left the bar. "What the hell was that?!" She yelled and pushed [Y/n] into the alleyway.

"I did what you asked." [Y/n] said, and Cho slapped her.

"That was not what I asked! I said to sing with me; not cover my voice up! God, you're so selfish! Don't you want me to achieve my dream?!" Cho scolded [Y/n] as she rubbed her cheek.

"Well, well...." They heard and saw a really buff man standing in front of them.

"What are you pretty, young ladies doing in a place like this?" The man said with a creepy smirk.

With Cho, being the big sister, [Y/n] thought Cho would be a bit protective. Nope. Instead, she hid behind [Y/n] and push her forward.

"Take her instead!" [Y/n] bumped into the man's chest, and he grabbed [Y/n] by the shoulders. [Y/n] turned her head and glared at Cho. "...And you call yourself my sister." She muttered and used her explosion Quirk to blast him away.

"I'm going home." [Y/n] muttered and walked in the direction of their home.

"Wait for me, damn it!"

[Y/n] hated her. She always hated her.

But not as much as she does now. "What...did you...just say?" [Y/n] said while widened eyes.

"We-Killed-Them."

She looked in disbelief as a white light began to glow from her body. "No... you're lying..."

Cho laughed. "Quite the opposite actually!" She said with a crazed look, "They died in their feeble attempt to get you back. Died being heroes. Now show everyone how dangerous truly you are! You're a disgrace to our society!"

All [Y/n] could hear at this point was her rapid heartbeat.

'No, something...is wrong...'

Cho hit [Y/n] in the face with her hammer hand, sending the girl face first into the ground.

"[Y/n]-chan!" Izuku called as he stood up with his eyes filled with concern. She could have easily dodged that. Todoroki's eyes widened. "This isn't good." He muttered while Katsuki was already glaring daggers at Cho for taunting [Y/n].

"Why?" Yaoyorozu asked Todoroki.

"[Y/n] mentioned to me back at the USJ about a limitation of her Quirk." Todoroki explained, "If she's emotional, she loses control of the power of her Quirks."

"And that bitch of a sister has been taunting her the whole match..." Katsuki growled as he clutched his fists. The class of 1-A watched as their classmate laid there, like a lifeless doll while Cho continued to laugh.

[Y/n]'s fist clenched as she slowly pushed herself off the ground. "So weak, just like your parents." Cho said and walked closer to [Y/n], who stayed still on her hands and knees, "I guess I should finish this."

Then she noticed drops of tears falling on the ground. "Are you..." Cho tilted her head to get a better look, "...crying?" She laughed. "You are! Lemme see! Lemme see!"

[Y/n] let out a loud cry, sending a sonic boom throughout the entire stadium, sending Cho flying backwards. Strong wind nearly below everyone away.

'I can't...control myself. It hurts.'

[Y/n] was angry... in pain... and most of all devastated.

[Y/n] let out another sob of anger and sadness, sending another boom through the stadium.

The only thing [Y/n] could feel is the pain of the Quirks' effect on her body and the tears rolled down her cheeks. [Y/n] slowly stood up, charging up the energy and shot a huge wave of electricity in at her. Cho dodged it and turned her hands into guns. They shot balls of energy at [Y/n]. [Y/n]'s Darks Shadow attacked Cho, and she blocked it.

The attack made her stumble a little, but she was still standing. [Y/n] glared at Cho with her dull, bloodshot eyes and used her explosion Quirk to shoot a huge explosion. (Like Katsuki did in his match with Uraraka)

The smoke cleared to see Cho has turned her arm into a shield. She was wincing in pain. You used Aizawa's Quirk to erase hers. "2 million Volts!" [Y/n] shot into the ground to immobilize her. [Y/n] used her explosion Quirk to create the same huge explosion. This attack was a direct hit. Cho was hurt badly, but that didn't stop [Y/n].

"Stop the fight!" Midnight demanded as [Y/n] charge for another attack. Cementoss created a cement wall between [Y/n] and Cho. All Might's and Izuku's eyes widened when they saw [Y/n]'s form.

"Texas Smash!" [Y/n] yelled and punched the stone.

The impact caused a huge gust of wind to blow by, breaking the stone, and blowing clumps of it everywhere. When the dust cleared, Cho was knocked out of bounds. She stuck in the wall of the opposite side of the arena. She was out cold.

[Y/n] let out another scream of pain resulting in another boom throughout the arena and coughed up some blood. As if it was in slow motion, [Y/n] fell to the ground on her side. She was out cold as well.

The audience was confused about whether to cheer or not. Midnight and Cementoss talked over what to do and who won the match. The students of 1-A were worried about their classmate and friend.

All they saw was [Y/n] motionless body on the cement. Her hair covered her tear-stained face, blood continued to flow out of her mouth. [Y/n] was soon rushed to Recovery Girl.

"We've decided...." Midnight announced, "...Class A's Mukai [Y/n] has been disqualified!"

[Y/n] felt her eyes slowly open. She slowly looked around to see that she was in Recovery Girl's office.

'Here again...'

[Y/n] looked to the side and saw Recovery Girl in her chair. Everything hurt. "My goodness...you've done damage to your body." She commented, and [Y/n] slowly sat up.

"Take it easy, sweetheart." Recovery girl said.

"Whose match is it now?" [Y/n] asked, her voice was raspy due to her vocal cord still healing, while noticing the casts on her right arm and right leg.

"Midoriya and Todoroki." Recovery Girl said, and [Y/n]'s eyes widened.

"I-I need to go." [Y/n] said while grabbing crutches.

Before Recovery Girl could respond, [Y/n] was already out the door. She made it to the arena and saw that Izuku had already broken his left arm and all the fingers in his right hand. Todoroki had frostbite on his right side.

[Y/n] gritted my teeth and walked to the railing.

"[Y/n]-chan?!" Uraraka said in shock.

"You idiot! What are you doing out here?! You have to go back to Recovery Girl!" Katsuki yelled while trying to drag [Y/n] by her left arm.

"No!" [Y/n] refused and snatched her arm away. She wanted to watch.

No, she needed to watch. Seeing two people that she cared about damage themselves like this, it broke [Y/n] inside.

"Everyone is fighting with everything they've got...To win and get closer to their dream...To become number one...Do you want to win with half your strength?! You haven't put a scratch on me yet, you know! Come at me with everything you've got!" Izuku shouted at Todoroki.

"Everything I've got. Did my damn old man buy you off or something? Like he tried to do with [Y/n]? Now I'm angry!" Todoroki said and charged at Izuku.

[Y/n] stared with wide fear-filled eyes when she noticed his movements were slow. 'The frostbite is getting to him.' [Y/n] gripped the railing with her left hand. Todoroki jumped forward, but Izuku punched him in the stomach.

Izuku dodged out of the way when Todoroki used his ice Quirk. 'Even his ice is slow.' [Y/n] thought.

"Izu-chan...Sho-chan..." [Y/n] muttered and witnessed Izuku and Todoroki destroying their bodies.

Tears began to swell in [Y/n]'s eyes. Not just because of the pain that she was feeling, but because [Y/n] was concerned for her friends' well-being. In the past, [Y/n] probably would have called them both idiots and leave it at that. But now, [Y/n] felt the need to stop this.

'Why...Why does everyone need to be a hero...?'

"Why are you trying too hard?" Todoroki asked.

"Because I want to live up to everyone's expectations...I want to be able to smile and respond to them...To be a cool hero...That's what I want to be!" Izuku said, and Todoroki glared.

Izuku head-budded Todoroki in the stomach. "That's why--Everyone's giving it their all! There is no way I can know your circumstances or your resolve. But for you to become number one without giving it your all, to completely reject your father...Right now, I think you should stop screwing around!" Izuku yelled and punched Todoroki in the stomach.

"That's why--I will win! I will surpass you!" Izuku shouted.

"I will...reject my old man's power...." Todoroki said, and [Y/n] snapped. She gripped the railing hard.

"It's your Quirk, isn't it?!" Izuku yelled.

Todoroki's eyes widened. It seemed to have sparked the flame in him and a huge fire emerged from his body. "I want...to be a hero, too!" Todoroki said.

"Shoto! Have you finally accepted yourself?! That's it! Good! It all starts here! With my blood, you will surpass me. You will fulfill my desire!" Endeavor shouted, and [Y/n] glared.

[Y/n] knees suddenly weak, and her body's pain grew more. She could see a tear roll down Todoroki's face.

"[Y/n], you have to go back to Recovery Girl." Kirishima said as he caught [Y/n] before she could fall. She knew he and Katsuki were concerned.

[Y/n] shook her head. She wasn't leaving. "God, you're so damn stubborn." Katsuki said. Todoroki stomped on the ground as his ice and fire rise and his power increase. Izuku's pants leg ripped, and he charged up his energy. Izuku charged at Todoroki, and Todoroki used both his fire and ice Quirks.

"Amazing... so much power..." [Y/n] muttered.

Cementoss used his Quirk to create thick stone pillars in front of them. Then...everything suddenly exploded. Katsuki and Kirishima used their bodies to shield [Y/n] from the blast of air and little cement pieces. After the dust cleared, everyone could see that Todoroki had won while Izuku was on the ground, out cold.

[Y/n]'s eyes widened in horror. "Izu-chan!"
