"Deku, you're up next, right? You're not going to the exam area?" Uraraka asked.

[Y/n] frowned a bit and looked to the side. 'Am I invisible?' She thought. "Oh, yeah, it is, but I'll watch everyone fight until the last minute. It's useful to see how everyone's using their Quirks, but I feel like I'm getting strength by watching them. Everyone is really amazing. Even if they didn't pass, they fought until the end. These are students of U.A. who never give up." Izuku explained.

[Y/n] looked up at the screen. 'Never give up...' It sounds stupid and cliche, saying it out loud. But, [Y/n] slowly began to understand her classmate's hero dreams. Still...she didn't know her hero dream.

"Well..." Iida began.

"There's one..." Yaoyorozu said.

"...who's completely given up." Tsu finished.

On the screen, they could see Mineta running away with tears in his eyes. [Y/n] gave a deadpanned look.

"Mineta-kun?!" Izuku said.

Scratch that, she'll never understand why certain people wanted to be a hero.

"But, is it really that surprising?" [Y/n] questioned, and everyone muttered on how it wasn't that surprising.

"But he was looking forward to the training camp so much. Why is he running away?" Izuku asked.

"If it's gotten that far, it might be hard for him..." Recovery Girl began, "For this practical exam, All Might, Mic, Cementoss, and Midnight are all especially hard. Depending on the person, it isn't hard to imagine someone being checkmated or feeling like they are." They watched as Mineta began crying blood.

"It might be hard for a kid like that to survive in a place like this." Recovery Girl continued.

"What do you mean?" Izuku asked.

"U.A. is constantly preparing walls and making students overcome them. In order to keep overcoming those walls without losing steam, the students need a concrete goal to focus on. It's not so easy a path that one can climb it with a vague feeling of wanting to be a hero."

[Y/n]'s eyes widened a bit. "True..." She muttered.

"Even if they do become heroes, people whose end goal is to become a hero have no future. In the end, is there a goal in that child's heart that he can focus on?" Recovery Girl asked.

[Y/n] watched as Mineta used his sticky grape balls to stick Midnight far away from the gate. She quietly cheered him on while he struggled to get to the gate.

[Y/n] felt Izuku grab her hand and pull her out of the monitor room towards the area where they were assigned to. [Y/n] looked down at their hands, and she had that fuzzy feeling that she did before. Her heart was racing, and [Y/n] felt light on her feet. She couldn't pinpoint why she felt like this towards her best friend.

"[Y/n]-chan? Are you alright?" Izuku asked while placing his hand on her forehead. He noticed her flushed face and her hyperfiltrating.

"I-I'm okay. Let's go." [Y/n]'s voiced cracked, and she jogged in front of him. As they approached the field, [Y/n] slowed down because Katsuki was standing there. He turned and glared at them.

"Team Midoriya, Bakugo and Mukai, practical exam. Ready, Go!" They entered the field, and Katsuki continued to glare at Izuku then he walked forward. Izuku and [Y/n] looked at each other then followed Katsuki.

"K-Kacchan, for this exam, the teacher is the villain, and we're the heroes. So we need to keep in mind the villain's combat ability and choose to either fight or run, but in our case, the villain is All Might and fighting against him is dangerous--I think it's a bad idea, anyway--" Izuku explained, and Katsuki kept walking.

"Wait, Kacchan!"

"STOP FOLLOWING ME!" Katsuki yelled.

"I-If we keep going straight, All Might will probably be waiting for us. We should take a detour-"

"Why should we run away? It'd definitely be better if we beat him up!" Katsuki shouted.

"W-We should avoid combat if we can no matter what!" Izuku shouted back.

"We'll toy with him until it's over, and then once he's tired out, I'll beat him up!" Katsuki yelled.

[Y/n] looked between the two as she followed behind them. One was trying to come up with a plan with the other was planning to rush in blindly.

"Even with the handicap, you can't win against him!" Izuku said, and Katsuki punched him in the face.

"Izu-chan!" [Y/n] called and rushed to check on him.

"Don't say another word...." Katsuki said while glaring down at him. He looked terrifying, but [Y/n] wasn't scared. She was never scared of him. [Y/n]'s eyes narrowed back at him.

"Just because things are going better for you doesn't mean you should talk. It's pissing me off." Katsuki said.

"We need to work together to pass the test!" [Y/n] chimed in. Then she felt it. The shake in the ground, the stillness in the air.

His power.

'All Might.' [Y/n] took out her mother's sword and stabbed the ground. "Um..." [Y/n] said but was ignored as they continued to argue.

"Listen, Kacchan!" Izuku yelled.

"I TOLD YOU, YOUR POWER ISN'T NEEDED TO PASS-!"

"STOP YELLING! THAT'S WHY WE CAN NEVER HAVE A REAL CONVERSATION!"

[Y/n] braced herself by holding onto her sword and used her hardening Quirk to dig her feet in the ground. A strong blast of wind came blowing by, destroying nearly everything. She could hear the screams of her partners being blown away while she stood planted to the ground.

[Y/n] sighed once the wind was gone. She took her sword from the ground. "Who gives a damn about damaging the city?" All Might questioned with a dark look.

[Y/n]'s eyes narrowed at him. Her heart pounded, slightly nervous as to what to expect from the strongest hero.

All Might stomped which caused another gust of wind. This one didn't affect [Y/n] much, but she could tell the handicap didn't have much of an effect on All Might.

"Now...if you both are done arguing like immature brats," [Y/n] said glaring back at her friends, "Let's pass this test." Their constant arguing was annoying [Y/n]. They've admired each other for years but were too stubborn to admit it. Now that admiration has turned into hatred and jealousy.

[Y/n] was beginning to understand why the teachers paired the three of them together. Izuku and Katsuki hated each other, and they're constant arguing made [Y/n] angry. And if [Y/n] got too angry or emotional, she'd lose control of her Quirk.

"If you think of this as an exam, you'll be sorry. I am a villain, heroes. Come at me with everything you've got." All Might said with his villainous look.

[Y/n] returned the glare. "We can't take him head-on. Let's run!" Izuku said as he started to run away.

"Don't tell me what to do!" Katsuki growled.

[Y/n] glared hardened, she was so angry. Her body began to radiate a white glow. She felt like could explode like when she fought Cho at the sports festival. All Might went charging at Katsuki. "Kacchan!" Izuku called.

"Stun Grenade!" Katsuki shined a bright light from his grenade, blinding All Might. "'Come at me' you said, All Might? Even if you didn't say anything, I was gonna do that..." Katsuki said, and All Might grabbed Katsuki by the face. He glared and used his explosion Quirk against All Might.

'Kacchan, you idiot. Shoot his hands.' [Y/n] thought as All Might slammed Katsuki to the ground.

"Kacchan!" [Y/n] called.

"With such weak consecutive hits, it just stings, though." All Might said and charged at Izuku.

"You're not off the hook either, Young Midoriya. Are you leaving your teammates and run away?" All Might said, and Izuku jumped backward, bumping into Katsuki.

"You two...." [Y/n] muttered, her eyes were glowing a blue hue.

"[Y/n]-chan?"

Katsuki got up and walked towards All Might. "Kacchan...Stop." [Y/n] said while standing in front of him.

"Move, Mugen...I will win...That's what it means to be a hero!" Katsuki said, and [Y/n] glared harder. She could feel the cord inside of her ready to snap. She didn't want to lose control on her friends.

Her hand went up, and [Y/n] slapped Katsuki across the face. Izuku and Katsuki looked at her in shock. "Winning?! Is winning is truly all it takes to be a hero, Katsuki?!" She yelled. She was extremely frustrated with this. She was never going to understand what it takes to be a hero.

"For now, here's a present for the one who wants to run away!" All Might said while jumping down with a street gate, trapping Izuku.

All Might then punch Katsuki in the stomach, causing Katsuki to fly backward and vomit. "Kacchan!" Izuku called.

All Might turned towards [Y/n], and she glared with blue hues shinning more in her eyes. "Both of you..." [Y/n] muttered, the ground began to rumble as her body shined more, "are seriously pissing me off!"

The boom from her voice and her power nearly knocked All Might back. All Might charged at [Y/n] and tried to punch her. Even when the handicap, he was still really fast. [Y/n] barely dodged the attack.

"Why can't you both just get along to pass this test?!" [Y/n] yelled, another boom in her voice pushed All Might back again. But, he still came swinging at her again. She flipped over his fist and kick him in the head. It didn't do much damage. All Might swung his fist again, causing a large gust of wind to blow her away.

[Y/n] clutched her sword handle as it turned a black color, and she sliced through the wind. "WHAT HAPPENED TO MAKE YOU TWO END UP LIKE THIS?!" [Y/n] shouted at the two males. Then sonic boom in her voice sent the boys flying back a bit.

"S-Shut up, M-Mugen." Katsuki stuttered as he slowly got up.

"I know why you're angry. It's because of Young Midoriya's sudden improvement, right? But you know, there's no way Level 1 power and Level 50 power can improve at the same rate. There's so much wasted potential in you. Do you understand? You do, right?" All Might said to Katsuki.

"You still have so much room to grow. But I'm not talking about power--"

"Shut up, All Might. If I have to get help from that scum, then I'd rather lose." Katsuki said. All Might got ready to attack. "Don't regret this." All Might said.

Suddenly, Izuku punched Katsuki in the face. "Don't you say you'd rather lose!" Izuku said.

Once Katsuki hit the ground, Izuku picked him up and hopped away. [Y/n] used One-For-All to do the same. "Bastard, put me down." Katsuki said.

"It's fine." Izuku said.

"I said, put me down." Katsuki said and elbowed Izuku in the back of the head. [Y/n] placed her hand on the wall as she caught up with them. "Kacchan, I really can't think of a way to beat All Might or a way to make a clean escape." Izuku said.

"Huh?!"

"Before you give up, at least try using me. Don't say you're okay with losing! You're you because you never give up on winning, right?" Izuku said, "...always wins in the end. You've been saying that since we were kids. How can you give up?"

Katsuki yelled in frustration and used his explosion Quirk. He created a crater near Izuku's head.

"I won't say it again, damn nerd...Against that crazy speed, no matter how you run and hide, you won't be able to avoid fighting." Katsuki growled.

"But we don't have a chance in a fight. Not against All Might--"

"Shut up, bastard! I'll kill you! He won't even budge with half-assed powered. I figured that out earlier with those consecutive hits. So... we give him everything we've got at point-blank range. Our only option is to inflict damage and then it some damage between us." Katsuki took off of his gauntlet on his arm and gave it to Izuku.

[Y/n]'s eyes softened as she felt her anger calm. "Finally, we're coming up with a plan." She muttered and walked closer to them. She took a handkerchief out of the inside pocket of her jacket and handed it to Katsuki.

"Sorry that I slapped you..." [Y/n] muttered, looking away, "It was just out of anger."

"Thanks...Mugen...whatever you did with your sword to make it change color. Do it again to match the explosion." Katsuki said as he wiped the vomit from around his mouth.

"W-Wait! That will take all of her energy." Izuku warned.

"I'll be alright. When I used it at Hosu, that was the last 25% of my energy. If I used about 5% of that attack, it could match." [Y/n] muttered then nodded, "I'll do it. Just give me some time. And if this doesn't work...Let me distract him and head to the gate."

[Y/n] saw All Might pass the alley they were in. Katsuki went charging out.

"Deku!" Katsuki called.

[Y/n] charged her energy, and her sword lit on fire.

"Mugen!" [Y/n] charged out.

"Do it!" Katsuki yelled.

"I'm sorry, All Might." Izuku muttered and pull the trigger.

"5% of Sabre Clash!" [Y/n] swung her sword. The explosions combined and hit All Might. "Run, idiots!" Katsuki said, and they ran behind him. [Y/n] could see the gate as they ran. But, they were still arguing.

"It doesn't look like All Might's chasing us. Don't tell me we knocked him out...?" Izuku questioned.

"Bastard, didn't you say there's no way we'd beat him, you idiot?! There's no way he was knock out by that, scum! The next time he catches up, it'll be my turn to blow him away with my gauntlet!" Katsuki said.

"Yes. Yes. And then?" All Might suddenly appeared. Katsuki tried to shoot him, but All Might crushed his gauntlet.

"What're you surprised about?" All Might said and crashed the other gauntlet that Izuku had.

[Y/n] jumped out of the way. 'He's not going to crush my mother's sword.' [Y/n] thought and looked at Lady Intelligence's sword that she had on the other side of her hip. "Even like this, because of the weights, I'm nowhere near my top speed. Now, die, heroes." All Might said and kneed Katsuki in the face, sending him flying.

"Kacchan!" Izuku and [Y/n] called.

"Who do you think you're talking to?!" Katsuki yelled while charging at All Might.

All Might grabbed Izuku and throw him at Katsuki. [Y/n] glared as All Might turned to her. [Y/n]'s body was glowing white. "Good...let your Quirks take over." All Might said with a dark look.

[Y/n] harassed her power and pulled out her other sword. "I've trained hard since the festival, All Might." She said.

All Might charged at [Y/n] and tried to knee her in the face. [Y/n] blocked the attack with her swords then used her ice Quirk on his feet. All Might noticed and jumped back.

[Y/n] crossed the swords. "Electro-Explo Sabre Combo!" Electricity and an explosion came out of her swords, causing All Might to be stunned by the explosion.

"GO!" [Y/n] yelled.

"Die!" Katsuki yelled and threw Izuku.

"New Hampshire Smash!" All Might punched the air, boosting him toward Izuku, crashing him. Katsuki shot a large blast at All Might. [Y/n] could tell he was hurting. He was hurting really bad. [Y/n] put away Lady Intelligence's sword.

"Kacchan! Izu-chan! Get behind me!" [Y/n] demanded and stood between them and All Might. 'I didn't want to watch my friends get hurt anymore.'

Sure, Katsuki may make [Y/n] angry at times, but she began to understand why he's acting this way. From the day Katsuki got his Quirk, he was expected to be the best because his Quirk was strong. [Y/n] was viewed that same way, but she never cared about how people saw her or becoming a hero at first. No matter the circumstances Katsuki and Izuku are two of her best friends, and [Y/n] wanted to protect them.

"I can only do this once! So make it count!" [Y/n] warned them and charged all of her energy. [Y/n]'s sword lit on fire with an orangish glow. Purple electricity was running through her body and sword. [Y/n]'s eyes began to glow a white color. 'Don't overdo it! Don't overdo it!' [Y/n] repeated to her herself and placed her feet.

"No, [Y/n]!"

"Mugen?!"

"WE WILL PASS TOGETHER! ONE-FOR-ALL: ALL OUT SABRE CLASH!!" [Y/n] shouted and swung her sword. A huge explosion landed in front of All Might, cause a large gust of wind to blow them all back. Izuku, Katsuki, and [Y/n] landed near the gate while All Might landed far away from them and the crater where he once stood, stunned by the explosion.

Her whole body was numb. [Y/n] couldn't feel anything. She could see Katsuki carrying her bridal style through the gate.

[Y/n] could see Izuku's lips moving, calling her name, but she couldn't hear him. Worry was written all over their faces. [Y/n]'s vision began blur to where she could barely see the outline of their faces.

Soon, [Y/n]'s world fainted into black. She woke up in Recovery Girl's room. "You're awake?" She said. [Y/n] could finally hear. [Y/n] slowly sat up, and Recovery girl sat in front of [Y/n].

"I've done a bit of research on your Quirk, dear, and... I don't like it one bit. I'm sure you know that if a person overuses their Quirks, it could be dangerous to their bodies, but in your case it's critical." Recovery Girl said, and [Y/n] looked down at her lap.

"I know. If I continue to overuse it, I could...." [Y/n] trailed, not wanting to say it. 'I could... die...'
