Dirty little animals
"That's violets territory,"
Powder stared blankly as claggor waited for reaction, she leaned against the counter but there was anger in her eyes.
"Maybe I should just burn it down so there is no territory," powder rasped feeling her crazy cloud around her. Curling up her hands to stop some twitching.
"Powder," claggor disagreed.
"So big sis got some of the land for what? With vander dead there's no way she just got that in the will," she groaned a little leaning her head back to look at the ceiling now.
"She works for Silco,"
Powder burst out laughing when claggor dropped the news. She shook her head laughing.
"She wouldn't, ain't no way she just sucked it up and started to work for him to get in on the crime lords," she didn't believe him but claggor had sadness on his face now.
"P, she changed for the worst since vander died, milo and i were hurt real bad from the explosion, and somewhere in the time we were recovering she started to get involved," claggor sighed remembering the shock of seeing violet kick them out of the last drop with all of silco's crew there.
"She's strong, stubborn, and hates her life, there's nothing for her to live for, at least with silco she has some sort of power and respect,"
"And Milo is there?" Powder asked raising a brow.
"He bartends, works for vi, he don't fight or nothing except with the drunks, it's either that or to the mines," he shrugged disappointed.
"He's never been the brightest with decisions," she tsked, Milo wasn't exactly her favorite person.
"Silco is behind it all though? The smuggling, the attacks?" Powder asked to confirm.
"He runs it all, shimmer is an addiction, if you have it the addicts will crawl to you, if You have muscle they can't take it from you," claggor elaborated and she hummed a little understanding.
"Alright, guess I gotta kill Silco," she smiled innocently, leaning back into the counter, raising her hand pointing her fingers into guns.
"Know where he might be?" She asked. Closing her thumb down to 'pull the trigger'.
"Pow,"

Caitlyn walked up to a large crowd that hung outside the radius of the bar, music played loudly and people were drinking, smoking, and more probably. She ignored the smell of alcohol and something rotting as she pushed her way in. How was this place going to help her at all? It was full of pervs and drunks.
Caitlyn grumbled a little pushing past the body's till she could see the bar in the middle where a skinny man was shoving drinks to the rude customers. She found a seat and quickly took it so she wasn't pushed around so much.
She looked around at the zaun bar, this had to be one of powders pranks cause she felt lost and ridiculous.
"Unless jinx is becoming more of her personality," cait scoffed talking to herself.
"You got money?" The bartender asked seeing she was without a drink.
"Oh uh yes I have money," Caitlyn fumbled for the coins.
"Then whatcha drinking?" He cleaned a glass and Caitlyn pursed her lips not wanting anything.
"Oh oh I uhh.." she looked around for anything familiar to drink besides a champagne or wine. There was a girl near by with a liquor on the rocks that didn't seem disgusted by it.
"I'll have what she's having," Caitlyn smiled awkwardly and the boy raised a brow.
"You don't seem the type to drink what she drinks," he could see she wasn't from around here nor drank like she was.
"Who's to say I'm not? My friend told me this place has good drinks no matter what you order," she tried to seem cocky with the lie and the man chuckled shaking his head, putting thee ice cubes in her glass and filled it 1/3 of the way.
"Open or close?" He asked amused.
"Put it on my tab Milo," the girl with the drink spoke finally. Her drunk light blue eyes swayed from him to Caitlyn.
"You got it vi," Milo lost his smile and almost coward away when the girl got involved.
Caitlyn held the glass but didn't pick it up, she glanced at the girl, she had to be close in age. She had an exhausted look on her face, short magenta pink with black fading off the ends. And a tattoo on her cheek bone, Roman numerals for 6. V I.
"You new around here cupcake?" The girl asked in a deep tone.
"Not new, just around," Caitlyn looked back at her drink. She tried to think of how to act, how would powder- no, how would jinx behave? She was so confident and collected like she never left the undercity. But maybe that's how you had to act to blend in.
"Never around here," the girl turned to her fully now intrigued.
"I'm not much of a drinker," Caitlyn hummed casually.
"That's to bad, I was hoping to have your next one on my tab too," the pink hair stranger tilted her head while she smiled calmly. Caitlyn hesitated as it felt similar, familiar.. but there was no way.
"Doesn't mean I won't stay to finish one," Caitlyn smiled back. Her heart felt like it was in her throat.
"Good, I like having pretty things in my bar, think it makes the place look nice," she finished her own drink, and tapped the glass twice for Milo to come fill it.
Caitlyn was intimidated by the girl, she acted like she owned the place, like she played every customer to her own rules. She tried the drink they had in common, sipping the dark alcohol. Then tried her best to hide her disgust by it.
"Yea it's terrible ain't it," the girl laughed a little.
"This is the same as you?" Caitlyn didn't believe her.
"My usual," she winked.
"It's awful," the enforcer couldn't help but chuckle at her dislike of the drink.
"It is, no one gets it but me," she agreed.
"So who's the usual for? What do they call you?" Caitlyn asked curiously to know more names of the undercity.
"The names Vi,"
Caitlyn knew that name but couldn't remember who told her. That name was a whisper but never more, no detail or whom it was or what they did. Like it was forbidden to be brought up no more than just a statement.
"Violet I'm sure it's short for," she guessed.
"Viola, actually, came from a family of musicians," vi grinned more.
"You're joking right?" Caitlyn didn't believe her still.
"Who's to say, guess it'll be a mystery," vi teased and the two stayed at the bar together. Ignoring the crowd that danced and partied and drank like there was no reason to see tomorrow.
"Do you truly own this place? I thought there was bodies buried under it," Caitlyn joked and vi looked at her a little attitude of the assumption.
"Yup I run this joint, I down own it own it, but I make sure it functions, people have a good time, if an idiot gets to obnoxious then I throw them out," vi talked her talk as cait listened for anything that could help.
"So your like the muscle of this operation," Caitlyn hummed impressed.
"If that what you like to hear then yea," vi leaned closer flirting.
"Then who does own it?" Caitlyn leaned as well.
"Silco owns it all, we're just his drones that make it happen," vi was to fascinated by the stranger to catch her lacking but her slip up was obvious to them both.
"Ahem I mean it's just a job, not much else to do," she played it off and Caitlyn nodded.
"It's still quite impressive id say," Caitlyn purred a little.

Powder walked down the alley behind the last drop as there was never ending people all around, deals being made, promises of a fun time back at someone else's place, gambling on crates under a light.
Oh. Perfect.
Powder back tracked and looked up and down at an old face she remembered. She set her gun on top of the pile of betting money and took a seat with four people.
"Mind if I get in on the action?" Powder asked and pushed her gun forward as in she was betting it.
The man dealing the cards looked at the other woman who was probably double powders age. She nodded allowing.
"Deal her in boys," she motioned to powder.
"I may be rusty," powder picked up the cards and the woman handed her the cigar that she was smoking.
"Alright kid we'll take it easy, only for a moment," the woman nodded.
"Great," powder winked back and looked at her cards. It was a simple game about chance, vander taught them long ago. Take a risk and learn about the consequence.
"I'll pass," the man next to powder picked up a card.
"I'm in," powder rested an arm on her knee as she manspread her legs while she sat.
"I'm in," the older woman nodded.
"Same," the other man smirked.
They all put down one card and waited.
Powder set another card down confidently.
"I'm in," she said again. It initiated the second round.
"I'll pass," the man laughed shaking his head.
"I'm in," the woman smiled at the gamble. Set three cards in. It left her with two. Whatver her very last card would be would determine her win or not. Powder set three cards down as well, taking the leap of her last card.
"In," she smiled.
The woman watched her stare and studied it.
"I'm all in," she set her last two cards down.
They both flipped the very last card. Whoever was lower would win the game.
Powder grabbed her gun back and scooped up the bag of coins of her win.
"Another round friends?" Powder smiled brightly.
"Not without knowing who were playing with," the woman took her lose calmly.
"Jinx," powder looked her in the eye. "But it's ok that you don't remember me sevika,"
Sevika frowned at the girl knowing her without introduction.
"Someone sent you or something?" Sevika shook her head as she handed the cards to the men to shuffle.
"Hmm who sent me who sent me, that's such a hard thing to remember, who asked me to be here?" powder tapped her gun on her chin as if she was thinking real hard.
"Oh I guess no one asked me to be here, but also I guess vander sent me, but who's to say," she shrugged.
Sevika paused and looked at the stranger, her darker make up smudged around her grey eyes, her face framed bangs covering half her face.
"But a traitor like you wouldn't know," powder grinned deviously.
She quickly dodged Sevika grabbing at her as she jumped back swiftly. Powder raised her gun and shot at her a few times to create space.
"Who the hell are You girl?" Sevika sneered.
"Wouldn't you like to know ogre," powder stuck her tongue out and ran back before the older woman could land a hit.
Powder ran down the ally as Sevika chased after her, the girl was slippery like an eel while the bull raced behind her. The blue hair girl easily jumped up on crates and flew through an open window inside a dark building.
Sevika growled thinking it could be a trap, running around the corner. The door was blocked off by wood that was nailed around it so no one could enter. She tore off her cloak and powdered up her robotic arm to slam her fist through the wood. Ripping the door down as she growled annoyed walking in.
She wanted to know who the hell this little rodent was.
The large room was dark but lit by the outdoors from the broken door. She glared looking around and up to find this jinx.
Suddenly a large slab of wood fell over the entrance door with a glowing paint lighting up the room now. Multiple drawings of goofy looking monkeys, stars, X eye smiley faces and hearts. On the wood slab that blocked the entrance had two words.
Don't breathe.
Sevika was disturbed by the uncanny trap, hearing a little sound of a wheeze she looked back seeing the girl standing in the middle of the room. It was dimly lit by the glow in the dark paint. All Sevika could see was the new gas mask over the girls nose and mouth. A fog clouded over her and traveled to Sevika.
When she turned to try to escape she already was struggling to move her legs, falling to her knees and wheezing for a breath. The sound of the girls boots got closer as Sevika was on all fours trying to crawl but her body felt like cement.
"You know what the funniest thing about coming home after a few years?" Jinx's voice was echoey from the mask over her face as she stood next to Sevika. Admiring the room with her doodles.
"It's so weird how true it was when they sat some things just don't change, it's kind of a let down," she knelt down to Sevika as she was just about to pass out.
"Scary, coming back has almost been like I never left, have a good nap," jinx waved innocently as Sevika snarled at her, then lost consciousness at the girls feet.
