Daughter of Nature
I'm soiled
grounded in the dirt
beneath my bruised feet
my skin is sheltered with flowers
my hair glistened with ever green leaves
my eyes reflect the dandelion offsprings dancing in the air
my voice hums along with the wind's lallaby she sings
when nature is sick
she tends the wounds of nature
while I dance for them
I wear water as if it was a dress
spreading its precious remedy
the grass tickles my skin gently
as if I am an instrument
I am the daughter of nature
I protect her
I am here to save her
and if I fail...
I will become the very apple tree
you pass by everyday.
