"It is the one's known as the turtles! Kraang destroy them for Kraang!" One of the robots ordered while they all began shooting.

All the turtles Leo, Rykardo, Raph, Donnie and Mikey splitted up and charged at the Kraang. 'Who or what the heck are these things?' Rykardo wondered. He charged at one of the Kraang and swung one of his katanas at it cutting the robot's head off before stabbing it in the chest and kicking it down. More of the Kraang charged at him and Rykardo was completely surrounded by the robots while they had their guns pointed at him as a threat that they'll shoot.

"Turtle, surrender to Kraang or Kraang will be doing the thing which is known as destroy." A Kraang warned.

Rykardo growled at him and readied himself to attack while the Kraang droid got ready to shoot him its gun warming up to shoot. 'Always unbalance your enemies Rykardo!' Rykardo told himself. The Kraang was ready to shoot him until it suddenly fell down being cut in half and when it fell Rykardo saw that it was Leo and smiled at him a little bit feeling relieved that he helped him.

The other Kraang droids began shooting at Leo but the two turtles immediately fought back both of them swinging their katanas at them and cutting the robot's heads, legs and arms off before stabbing or slicing them through the robot's chest. After some time the five turtles chased off the Kraang droids and the rest of the Kraang ran off retreating and the five turtles stood there glaring after the idiotic robots that ambushed them.

"What or who were those things?" Rykardo asked looking over at the exhausted turtles.

"They call themselves the Kraang, they've been bugging us ever since we first went up to the surface last year." Donnie answered.

"I guess this means we're going home?" Mikey questioned curiously looking at Leo.

"Yeah, we'd better get back to the lair, I'm sure they'll be back with more of their friends." Leo replied.

With that the five turtles headed back to the lair. Leo, Rykardo, Raph, Donnie and Mikey all walked through the sewer tunnels heading back to the lair until Leo suddenly groaned in pain and fell down on the ground his hands gripping his stomach tightly his actions alarming the others and Rykardo immediately kneeled at Leo's level.

"Are you okay Leo?" Rykardo asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine, it's just a little-" Leo cut himself off as another groan of pain escaped his lips.

Rykardo looked down at where Leo was holding his stomach and could see dark red liquid leaking out of Leo's stomach and panic immediately washed through Rykardo's body. 'He's bleeding! Oh man Leo needs immediate help!' Rykardo thought.

"Guys he's bleeding! I think one of the Kraang shot him!" Rykardo exclaimed in worry.

"What?" Raph asked in shock his green eyes wide in fear.

"Then we gotta hurry before he loses more blood." Donnie said.

Rykardo nodded in agreement before he hauled Leo up helping him walk and the turtles continued heading back to the lair and Leo's groans began to slightly turn into sharp pants like he was having a hard time staying awake or trying to fight back loud screams of pain. 'Maybe this is my perfect advantage to let Leo di- no! Don't do this! Shredder may get angry at me but who cares! Besides I'm the one who's supposed to destroy them not the Kraang!' Rykardo thought.

~Time skip~

Rykardo, Raph, Donnie and Mikey took Leo inside of Donnie's lab and Rykardo gently lied Leo down on the lab cot and Donnie immediately began working on taking care of Leo's wound. Rykardo watched as Donnie got his stuff out while he was kneeled down by the cot making sure that Leo would stay awake. But when Rykardo looked down at Leo he saw that Leo's eyes were closed and his breathing was starting to slow down. Rykardo checked Leo's pulse getting a little bit of breath still left inside him but it seemed like Leo just passed out or fell asleep.

"Okay I need everyone to leave, I have to start working on helping Leo." Donnie said.

"I'm not leaving until I know he's okay." Rykardo insisted surprising himself by how protective he's become of Leo. 'Did I say that?' Rykardo asked himself.

"Rykardo, Leo's been in this situation before, I'm sure he can hold on longer." Donnie said firmly.

"Alright." Rykardo sighed before getting up and following the others out.

A few hours have passed and Rykardo was pacing around the TV area making a few worried noises and Raph and Mikey were sitting on the couch both looking pretty anxious but Raph of course was trying to look strong by showing no emotion. 'What if the wound is too deep and Donnie can't help him? What if Leo dies and the guys blame me for it? And why am I getting attached to the ones I'm supposed to kill?! How will Master Shredder react if he finds out? What will he do to me? To them? Which side should I choose?' Rykardo wondered while more questions washed through his mind making him pace faster.

"Relax would you? I'm sure Leo's going to be fine." Raph said to him.

"How do you know?! How do you know that Leo's probably not dying in there and that Donnie's probably lost him! Don't tell me to relax Raph! Leo is wounded and you're not even worried!" Rykardo yelled at him as he stopped pacing and glared at Raph.

"I am worried about Leo, but you're kinda overreacting about this situation Rykardo, Leo's a strong turtle and he won't give in so easily. But being super worried and freaking out ain't gonna help him." Raph replied.

"That's funny, I almost thought that you cut him earlier today after Mikey pranked you!" Rykardo argued.

"Oh shut up, you're not even our brother so what do you know about the differences between right and wrong, but what should I expect from someone who's been alone all their lives." Raph taunted.

Rykardo began to grow angry at Raph while his hands slowly curled into fists and his ocean green eyes slitted in anger. 'Why that jerk! I should just despatch him right now while I still have the chance! Even Karai didn't bully me as much as he's bullying Leo! And yet Leo's hurt and Raph still doesn't really care!' Rykardo thought. He then calmed himself down and sighed a little while Raph smirked at him before he headed inside his bedroom. Rykardo watched as Raph left still glaring at him his anger still boiling inside his veins.

"Dang, I almost thought that you were gonna pound him, you okay dude?" Mikey asked.

"Yeah I'm fine, but I didn't mean to snap at him like that, I'm just worried about Leo." Rykardo replied. 'Worried about Leo? Jeez I really am getting attached to these guys, even though Raph is making himself a target' He thought.

"I know, but I'll be honest that it kinda feels like Leo never got hurt since you kinda act like him." Mikey replied.

"You really think I sound like your brother?" Rykardo asked in both surprise and confusion.

"Yup. I mean you look like him, a little, and you have the same voice, I just don't know how that's possible." Mikey said.

'Maybe but I'm still deciding if I should continue with my mission or just pretend that I'm having a hard time so that Shredder doesn't suspect anything' Rykardo thought. Then the lab doors opened up and Rykardo and Mikey both looked over seeing Donnie coming out with a slight smile on his face.

"Is he okay in there?" Rykardo asked.

"Yeah Leo's doing fine, I managed to bandage up the wound and it wasn't really that deep, also Leo wants to see you Rykardo." Donnie replied.

Rykardo felt confused to why Leo wanted to see him but he listened anyways and headed inside Donnie's lab approaching Leo lying on the lab cot.

"Hey Rykardo." Leo greeted with a weak smile.

"Hi Leo, how are you doing?" Rykardo asked.

"Slightly exhausted but I'm fine, I wanted to see you just to make sure you were the one who was okay." Leo replied.

"I had a rough time trying to relax to be honest." Rykardo replied while rubbing his hand on the back of his neck.

"And Raph? How are him and Mikey doing?" Leo questioned.

"Mikey's fine but Raph... Well I guess him being worried about you made him grumpy." Rykardo admitted.

"He's always like that whenever I'm wounded, but just because he's being hard to get it doesn't mean he's being like that on purpose." Leo told him.

"I guess I'm just the one who's hard to get along with." Rykardo replied.

"It's not your fault Rykardo, you've been alone for a long time but you have to know that I'm here for you, there's no need to hold back when you're upset." Leo replied.

'Now I'm really starting to wish I haven't lied to them, but what if they find out I'm in the Footclan one day? Well Leo's met Karai before, but maybe it's only because she's probably grown attached to them as much as I am right now' Rykardo thought feeling his chest hurting in guilt.

"Thanks Leo, but I think you should get some rest right now, it's getting late." Rykardo said.

Leo nodded in response a little and he moved in a comfortable position and went to sleep. Rykardo stood up looking down at Leo in sadness before he left the lab to go to bed. Rykardo stepped inside his room and closed the door behind himself before he sat on the large mattress sighing in sadness. Fear began to overcome him and Rykardo could feel pain in his heart wishing that he didn't have to be the one to kill Leo and his brothers later on because now he was too attached to them but was scared that Shredder might get very angry at him for his dishonor to the Footclan. Tears rolled down Rykardo's face and he lied down on the mattress unable to think of what to do.

'Just great, I've disobeyed my master and now I'm becoming close to the turtles because their mutants like me, now I'm just stuck in this wall between good and evil and I don't know which one to choose' Rykardo thought. He continued letting his tears soak on his cheek before falling asleep hoping that he'll be able to make up his mind soon. But he still wasn't sure who to choose. Leo and his brothers, or the Footclan.

~At Shredder's lair~

"You tell me that when you ambushed the turtles Rykardo helped them?!" Shredder questioned in fury of his student's betrayal.

"Kraang did not expect the one which is known as Rykardo to be helping the ones who are turtles, after the thing which is called a battle the one known as Rykardo was concerned about one of the turtles who is called Leonardo." The Kraang droid replied.

"Why even bother sending them so early father? I haven't betrayed you by getting attached to those turtle freaks, besides Rykardo would've found out that their mutant turtles like him weather he was told about them or not." Karai said.

"Perhaps, over the years I was always blind to not knowing that my star pupil would betray me like this, but if Rykardo should prefer the turtles over his clan, he'll be joining them in the Underworld." Shredder replied.

"What does the one which is known as Shredder plan to do to the turtle which is known as Rykardo?" The Kraang questioned.

"What I have in mind is my business and Rykardo is my concern, now leave robot." Shredder demanded.

The Kraang droid obeyed and walked out of the throne room while Shredder glared at a distance imaging Rykardo going against him and his one hand curled into a fist feeling complete rage and disappointment wash over him.

"What will we do now?" Karai asked him.

"Get the Foot soldiers ready and send out for more recruits, something tells me that we may have a traitor in our mists." Shredder ordered.

Karai tipped her head to Shredder before she exited the room shouting out commands and orders to Tigerclaw, Rahzar and Fishface. Shredder remained silent sitting on his throne thinking of a plan on what to do once Rykardo makes up his mind to either choose his clan, or treachery of joining the turtles.
