Dizziness was the first thing Leo could feel as he slowly rose to consciousness...

It was honestly a mystery that Leo didn't know how he ended up here. The last thing he remembered was being home with his older brother Donnie, asking to cuddle with him even after Donnie had said "no". Mikey happily agreed instead so Donnie could finish his experiment in peace, much to Leo's dismay.

As Leo and Mikey were heading out of the lab, they bump into Raph who was blocking the entrance. Leo saw Raph open his mouth before his face morphed into horror. Raph began to shout "O-oh shell! Donnie-!" before a white light consumed Leo's vision... then there was darkness.

Leo finally starts to stir awake. He tries to move, which he realized was a big mistake. He couldn't move without a burning pain spreading through his body and leaving him in agony. He couldn't stop the quiet whine that had escaped his lips... to his surprise, someone heard him. He was startled and scared, he thought that he was in danger until his back was pressed lightly into a soft plastron.

At first, he wasn't quite sure who it was, until he heard a familiar rumbling sound, followed by a soft "Shh my spirit, your big brother's right here... you're safe" As soon as he realized it was his older brother, Mikey, he relaxed. To be honest, he didn't even realize that he was trembling until now. To Leo, Mikey was always the most comforting out of his brothers...it helped him, in times like this, to rely on Mikey when he needed emotional or mental help.

Leo slowly curled up his big brother's arms, burying his face in Mikey's plastron as he was gently hugged. His voice shook when he asked "W-where's Don-don and Raphie?" Leo received a caring but fast kiss on his forehead.

Leo knew that it wasn't a normal brotherly kiss, instead, It was a secret code he created with his brothers years ago. It means that Mikey doesn't know where they are, or where the others are, and to refrain from using their real names. Spirit was one of the nicknames Leo's brothers called him.

Leo tilts his head up as Mikey gently begins to pick him up and guide him to lean against the nearby alley wall. Leo looked at his brother when he spoke "Do you have your cloaking brooch with you Spirit?" Leo tried to nod his head slowly but ended up with a slight hum instead.

As Leo took a minute to account for his injuries. He seemed to have some light bruising on his ribs, his left wrist was fractured, he had small bruises on his legs, his left shoulder is dislocated, and his right wrist is swollen. He can still move it so... it was probably sprained, at best. That explains why his whole body hurts so much.

Mikey smiled sweetly at Leo "Good, can you turn it on for me?" It took a few minutes for Leo to collect himself before he finally moved his arm to do as he was told. Slowly his body morphed into his human disguise. In Leo's opinion, he always thought he looked pretty with his brown skin, light baby blue eyes, multiple vitiligo splotches, and braided dirty blonde hair with purple and blue highlights.

When he looked up, he saw that Mikey had transformed as well ... Mikey had darker brown skin, dark blue eyes, some scars across his face along his chin/cheeks, and black hair that was put up in a high ponytail with orange and red highlights. To Leo's dismay, he noticed his older brother's displeasure with his outfit. Mikey took off his hoodie and jacket and then put them on Leo to cover his body.

It seemed that the green crop top, black high-top boots, and black shorts were deemed too "inappropriate" for his brother's liking. Since he was lost in thought Leo didn't notice until it was too late that Mikey was picking him up and holding him like a toddler... It's not like Leo minded, nor did he fight when he felt a hand against the back of his head. The hand pushed down gently in an attempt to get the smaller to lay their head down.

Leo tried to fight back at that moment before giving in when his older brother started to make a soft, calming humming sound that made him relax. Mikey completely pushed his head down into the crook of the taller one's neck.

Mikey softly whispers to him "Shhh, everything is alright Spirits. I'm here. It's ok. We have to find where Red and Soul went". With Leo secured, Mikey started to run down the alleyway. As he runs, he suddenly gets the feeling that he's being watched. The presence however didn't feel threatening at all, it was more like it was... wary, or observing him from a distance.
