Tonight you was gonna help your cousin to plan a proposal. He was going to propose to his girlfriend on their anniversary. You after helping him with the engagement ring, you and your cousin had figured out what restaurant was perfect for the happening.

COUSIN: Thank you so much, Y/n.

Your cousin said to you as the two of you walked out of the restaurant. You gave him a small warm smile.

YOU: No problem, I'm happy to help my cousin. Is about time you put that ring on.

Both of you laughed. What you didn't know was that your boyfriend, Raphael, was surface to blow off some steam after a fight with Leo. He was on a roof top not far and had noticed you. As you was the first to walk out of the restaurant, he was curious what you was doing in such a fancy and romantic place all by yourself. He was about to jump down, but then an unknown guy followed. Raph stayed up on the roof, watching you both from afar.

COUSIN: So you want a ride home?

Your cousin gave you a quick hug and you hugged back. You greeted each other good bye and he left in the car. You started to walk towards your apartment. Raph on the other hand was steaming. He was angry, jealous, hurt, heartbroken. What was going on? His girl was with another boy? Are you cheating on him? How could you?! Raph didn't want to believe it, but his mind was out of control because of his steaming anger. Of course he thought you were cheating on him.

Raph decided to follow you. Tears forced their way out of his eyes, but he tried his best to fight them back and hold them in. It just made him more angry. He followed you from the roof tops and you walked on the sidewalk. Almost with your apartment, you was pulled into an alley. You was scared at first, but smiled when you saw it was your boyfriend.

YOU: Raphie!

RAPHAEL: Don't Raphie me! What the heck was ya doin' back there, huh?

You raised an eyebrow confused at him.

YOU: What are you talking about?

RAPHAEL: Oh playin' dumb now, are we? Ya know very well what I'm talkin' 'bout! Why are ya cheatin' on me?!

YOU: C-cheating? I'm not cheating on you, Raph! Why would you say that?

Tears started to form in your eyes.

~ Seven weeks later ~

The darkness had once again covered New York which meant it was night. You was on the way home from [evening activity] and you had to walk home.
