Raph and his brothers Leo, Donnie and Mikey were training in the dojo doing two on two. Mikey of course begged Leo to let him go on Donnie's side and Leo had agreed to let him but didn't like the idea of teaming up with Raph. On that one we can agree on Raph thought. He was still angry at Leo for lashing out on him last night and from his shock Raph hardly slept last night but he hoped that he wouldn't space out during training today. All four turtles took their positions getting ready to start. Of course Leo had no intention of shouting out the Japanese words like Splinter used to so he would usually be the first one to start training. Suddenly Raph sensed Donnie about to hit him with his bo staff and quickly dodged his attack whipping his sai at his brother and grabbed him on the arm before flinging him at the tree making him hit it.
"Ow! Raph what the heck?!" Donnie exclaimed. Raph put his arms up questionably.
"What did I do?" Raph asked. Donnie growled at him a little forcing himself up.
"You nicked me that's what! You know how mad Leo's going to be!" Donnie said. He turned his bleeding shoulder to the side showing a small cut with hardly any blood leaking out. My gosh Donnie! Raph thought feeling annoyed. Donnie was fussing over a tiny scratch!
"It's just a little one you're fine." Raph said crossing his arms. Donnie grumbled something under his breath sitting next to the tree to watch as his brothers finnish training. Raph just ignored him and turned around seeing Leo sweep his leg at Mikey's until his little brother leaped right over him avoiding his attack. Mikey laughed as he landed and then gasped as Leo did a spin kick at him kicking Mikey on his head knocking him out cold.
"Okay that was way too hard!" Raph whispered to himself. He charged at Leo trying to attack while his older brother wasn't looking but Leo sensed him coming. Right when Raph tried to strike a blow on him, Leo suddenly whipped out of the way and kicked him on the chest making Raph stumble backwards a little and he kicked him on the head hard enough to knock him down. Raph fell on his side grunting as he landed then he forced himself up wanting to keep going and get back at Leo for what he did last night. Raph turned around to face his brother only to see Leo glaring at him with his teeth gritted and his hands glowing in a white glare and every breath he took it came out as frosty air while Leo's sapphire blue eyes slowly began to turn into a light silver as he growled at Raph. Okay that is not normal! Raph thought feeling freaked out. Then before he could move, Leo thrushed his arm forward spikes of ice coming straight out of the floor coming towards Raph. Panicked, Raph quickly dodged the attack that Leo tried on him and looked over seeing his brother giving him a death glare.
"What was that about?!" Raph questioned his heart thundering. Leo didn't respond. He thrushed his arm at Raph again making a barrier of ice as it whizzed past each side of Raph almost getting his shoulders then Leo kicked him on the gut forcing Raph against the wall and Leo created a barrier of ice that surrounded Raph while a spike of ice was slowly coming toward him heading for his throat. Raph felt afraid out of his mind. Why was Leo doing this to him? And how did he gain more powers?
"Leo stop!" Raph wailed. But Leo ignored him and continued making the spike come at him. Raph almost wanted to scream in terror before he saw Donnie sneaking up behind Leo and took out his bo staff hitting Leo on the back of his head knocking him out. As soon as Leo fell to the floor, the ice barrier that Raph was stuck in disappeared into fog and Raph immediately rushed toward Leo.
"Don't touch him!" Donnie yelled pulling him back. Raph broke his arm free of Donnie's grip.
"Why? What's the big deal?" Raph questioned.
"If you touch him you could get blasted even though he's knocked out." Donnie answered. "Just look at his body, it's never done that glow before, not unless he would transform himself into his fox form but this is different. If you touch him you'll turn into a statue of ice." he explained.
"What like his body's in some kind of defense mode?" Raph asked.
"Yes, it's something like that." Donnie answered nodding. Raph looked over at Leo hearing his brother groaning as he forced himself up the silver glow of his eyes fading turning them back into sapphire blue.
"Guys? What happened?" Leo asked. Raph felt anger surge through him but Donnie rushed in front of him.
"You gained new powers Leo." Donnie said. Leo raised his brow.
"What kind of powers?" he asked.
"Ice magic that's what, and you tried to kill me with them!" Raph answered not putting up with Leo asking questions. Leo's eyes widened in shock.
"I did?!" he exclaimed. Growling, Raph pushed Leo roughly making him fall on his shell.
"Yes you did! It was way more worse than what you did to me last night!" Raph yelled. Leo's chest began heaving as his breath came out as frost again while he looked up at Raph panic in his gaze.
"Stop it right now hothead!" Donnie yelled getting between them. "Look I have no idea what Leo did to you last night or the reason why he did it, but it's not his fault for attacking you today!" he said sternly.
"He nearly stabbed me on the throat last night! How else do you think I woke up with a scar on me?!" Raph lashed.
"Stop making stuff up Raph!" Donnie hissed. Raph looked over at Leo then back at Donnie.
"Fine don't ask me, ask Lame-o-nardo here, he'll tell you I'm not making it up!" he said.
"Ha. Like he would really do what you'd do!" Donnie snapped.
"Actually, it's true." Leo said. He forced himself up as Donnie and Mikey both looked at him. "I did attack Raph last night, but I don't even know why." he explained. Raph scoffed at him. Yeah like you really don't! He thought. Mikey suddenly jumped in and randomly began singing.
"Can't hold it back anymore!" Mikey singed.
"Mikey!" Raph growled. Mikey dashed off exiting the dojo while Leo and  Donnie just stared like they had no clue what just happened.
"Did he really just do that?" Donnie questioned mostly to himself doing a face palm. Leo shrugged his shoulders still confused. Donnie headed out of the dojo while Raph and Leo followed him out. They have to figure out how Leo got his ice powers before he could possibly lose control again.
