Donatello and his Juliet (part 2)

Sorry this is short, but I promise to make it up to you guys in the next chapter.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"They just don't get it. They never do!" complained Donatello to himself, walking across the rooftops."I know I have the superior intellect, but can't they think about how I feel for once?!" he sat down with a sigh, leaning on the wall of a random rooftop entrance. He looked at his book once more.
"I mean, this story is a master piece! Everyone can agree on that! Not because it's a 'love story', but it's the way it's written that makes it fantastic! The words are so...meaningful...as if William knew exactly what he was talking about."
His mind started to wander, as his eyes stayed glued to the cover. Did he ever have a lady to inspire him?
But, looking back at the way he described Romeo and Juliet's relationship... it just seemed so...irrationnal. Donnie almost laughed.
"Come on! A love like that is impossible! How can you just look at someone... and know that they're your soulmate? That... you would give up everything, even your own life... just to be with them..."
The more Donnie thought about it... he knew, no matter how insane the idea was, that... he wanted one.
A love so strong, it could stand against death itself.
He wanted a Juliet...
A glance at his own hand shook him back to reality. His dirty, scaly, green, three-fingered hand covered in tape. He sighed in sadness.
...but who would want a monster as her Romeo.
His depressed train of thoughts could have lead him to darker regions of his mind, but it was interrupted by a nearby sound.
The sound of a door opening and closing.
Donnie had completly fogotten that he was sitting on a stranger's rooftop, not lying in his room.
Luckily, the footsteps that followed were growing weak, meaning they were walking away from his location. As silently as possible, he got up from his spot, turned around and peered around the wall to see who it was.
...
...
...
It was a girl.
Not just any girl, it was you.
You were sitting on the edge of the roof, your back was turned to him. It looked like you were writing something down.
This was the perfect time to escape. She would not see him sneek off into the shadows...
But something in Donnie told him to stay. An unknown force pulled him towards you. Curiosity killed the cat, but he just had to see your face. He had to know.
He moved swiftly, now hiding behind a chimney on your left. He slowly turned around...
And at that moment, his entire world changed.
Jaw hanging lose, his dilated eyes wide open at the sight of this (h/c) haired angel. His heart didn't skip a beat, oh no! It stopped all together!
Did my heart love till now?
Forswear it, sight!
For I never saw true beauty
Till this night.
