"You would think about how your life is now, but what would happened if everything you knew and loved changed all because of one day."

It all started when I decided to go visit my cousin, April O'Niel, in New York City. "I'm so excited! I finally get to see April." , I said happily. I was in my room packing my suitcase. It was neon green with red, blue, orange, and purple swirls and different stickers that had different states and cities on it. It was packed with my clothes, shoes, and other things. As I packed, my mother walked into the room with a small smile upon her face. She really didn't want me to go to New York alone because of what was happening there. She looked at me and said, "Jay, I really don't want you to go to New York. Everything that is happening over there is not a place where you should be." I stopped packing and turned to her. "Mom, I will be fine. I haven't seen April in 3 years. Do you trust me enough to go visit her for only a few days?" She was about to speak, but nothing came out. All she gave me an envelope and left my room. I continued to pack my bag and my other things. About an hour passed and I gave hugs and kisses to my family as I left my home to head to the airport.

~Meanwhile with April's p.o.v~

I was busy cleaning my apartment with the help of Vern and the turtles. I'm so happy to know that my favorite cousin is coming, but I'm also afraid of what will happen when Jay meets the guys. "Everything is ready for Jay. Thanks for helping me guys!." Leonardo puts the broom down and looked in my direction with a smile. "No problem, April. We are happy to help. Right guys?" Everyone nodded as they finished their jobs. I watched Donatello keep track of Jay's flight for me. "Her flight should be here in 45 minutes, April."Donatello said once he looked at his super computer."Thanks, Donnie. Vern and I will go pick her up while you guys stay here and order the pizza." Once Vern and I left, my nervousness began to die down.

~Back With Jay~

I slowly woke up because of the pilot's voice. "Attention passengers. We are now making our descent into New York City and I would like for everyone to please get to your seats and buckle up." I sat up and looked out my window to see New York. After the plane landed, I got off the plane and went to baggage claim to get my suitcase. I saw people staring at my clothes. They thought I looked weird, but I don't care. I turned to them with a look of anger."What are you all staring at?!" Everyone looked away from me and went on with their business. "Same old Jay, but you've grown since the last time I saw you." I turned around to see April with some guy. I ran to her and hugged her tightly. "It's so good to see you again, April. I missed you so much!" She smiled at me and introduced me to Vern. He gave a smile and held out his hand to me. "Nice to finally meet April's little cousin." I hugged him tightly and gave him a soft smile. "Nice to meet you too Vern. I didn't know April had a boyfriend." I smirked at her as she started blushing deeply. "Anyway, let's head home. There are some friends I want you to meet." With that we all left the airport not even knowing that Karai was there watching the whole time.
