TCRI(Part 2)

When the turtles and Vixen woke up, they were in a glass container. They groaned as they picked themselves up from the floor. "Well, the good news in, we're still alive." Donnie said as he stood up to take a look around. "What's the bad news?" Leo asked. "That." Donnie stared out to see a large machine. It has 3 gun-like blasters pointing towards the same point. "We are deep in Kraang country." Donnie finished. There were kraang everywhere. Some were watching the turtles, some were listening to 3 other kraangs giving order through a big screen, and the others were charging their floating devices. One Kraang threw itself to the glass where Leo was standing, and slid itself down, leaving a trail of gooey slim behind it. "We're not in Kansas anymore." Leo said. "I though we were in New York! OW!" Mikey shouted as Raph punched the back of his head, making him hit his forehead to the glass. . "The portal!" Leo shouted as he looked at the machine. Donnie gasped. "It's beautiful. Ahem, scientifically speaking." Donnie said. "Well, if you love it so much, why don't you marry it?" Raph teased. "Do you, Donatello, take this portal to be your-" Mikey started, but was interrupted by Leo. "Knock it off, all of you." "Yeah, we all know that Apriltello is the best ship here-" "That's not what I meant, and you know it! We need to figure out how we're going to destroy Donnie's bride over there." Leo said.

"Yeah, not likely. We're stuck in here. Our weapons are way over there." Raph pointed out, seeing two kraang watching the weapons. "Man, they even took my frying pan." Vixen pouted. "Where do you even keep that thing?" Leo asked. "Don't ask questions you don't wanna know the answer to." Vixen deadpanned. They watched as one kraang blob picked up Mikey's nunchucks and started swinging it around like a pro, until the smacked themselves on the head. It screeched, threw the weapon down, and floated away. "In a room that's filled with, in case you forgot, poison gas." Raph finished. "If it's poison, how come they breathe that stuff?" Mikey asked. "The same way that fish can breathe underwater, and we can't." Vixen answered. "I think it's what the air is like in dimension X." Donnie concluded. "Well, that's stupid. Why would you invade a place where you can't even breath the air?" Raph asked. "Pfft, yeah. What are they gonna do? Mutant the whole planet, so they can live here and we can't?" Mikey joked. But little did he know, he we very correct, and the other knew it too. "I don't know what's scarier, what you just said or that you said it.' Donnie awed. "Wait, wait. What's I say?"

"Mikey's right. The kraang are trying to transform the planet into something they can live on." Donnie restated. "And we can't. We have to stop them." Leo finished. "Wait, wait. This discovery is great and all, but there's still something that's bothering me. Why would they choose earth for this? I mean, there are lots of other planets to choose from and with no life on them, it would be easier. There would be no good reason for the kraang to mutant this planet in particular, unless there was something here they wanted or someone....wants to...destroy...the planet." Vixen finished with a shaky breath, putting things together in here head. "Vixen? What is it?" Leo asked. "Wh-nothing. Just a theory. We need to stop them. No one is destroying my planet." Vixen said angrily. "Your planet?" Raph asked. "Yeah, I live here. It's your lair because you live there, Raph." She rolled her eyes. "Whatever. How are we supposed to get out of here with these guys watching our every move?" Raph asked, as he turned to see the wall of Kraang wads staring at them. "We need a distraction." Suddenly, the portal started warming up, and the kraang flew away to watch it. "Like the portal?" Mikey asked. "That might do it." Raph mumbled. "Once that thing opens up, anything could come through there." Donnie added.

Leo let the hidden blade in his hand wrapping fall into his hands, and he tossed it to Donnie. Donnie made a weak point in the glass by scratching a small hole. "Hey, Mikey, you said you can hold you breath?" Leo asked. "Like a turtles do!" Mikey smiled. "Now's your chance." Leo said. "Wait, what about Vixen, she can't hold it that long." Mikey asked. "Don't worry. I noticed that the kraang air becomes thinner at the top. If I climb up this glass and stay at the top, I'll be safe. The worst that could happen is I breath it and pass out again." Vixen reassured as he patted Mikey's head. She jumped to one side of the tube then the other, quickly scaling the walls. They she latched onto the top and pushed her legs and back against 2 close sections of the top, keeping herself secure. The turtles all took a deep breath and Mikey jumped up. He tucked himself into his shall and his brothers caught him. Leo and Raph started to use Mikey as a battering ram and started breaking the glass. Once...Twice...On the third try, Mikey flew out the container, still tucked in his shell.

Gas poured in, but didn't reach the top, meaning Vixen was safe. Mikey whooped and hollered as he rolled. Two kraang watched the whole ordeal and just floated there are Mikey rolled closer. Mikey popped out, kicking thr kraang down. "Booyakash-" Mikey covered his mouth, realizing he couldn't breath or waste any air. His brother zipped past him and Mikey looked to the ground. He saw a shiny rectangular thing resting on the floor. He picked it up, hummed in curiosity and walked to join the battle. The 4 turtles were almost to their weapons, but a flew kraang floaters, yeah let's call them that, were blocking the way. The kraang floated screeched and advanced, hoping to stop the turtles. One shot a laser, but the turtles bobbed and weaved around the deadly pink beam. Raph jumped up and kicked the kraang from it's floater. While on the other side of the lab, Leo used an upper cut to get rid of his. Then spun kick to get rid of another.

The kraang flew back and slammed into the glass window, making a large crack. Mikey started dodging The beams and did a front hand spring. His feat collided with the bottom of the floater and that made the beam miss. The beam ran over the same crack the kraang blob made and few seconds ago, making it bigger. The turtled now had their weapons, except Donnie. Raph threw the staff upwards, and Donnie caught it. Then he used to play baseball with a kraang. The kraang being the ball. The kraang and it's floater started flying at top speed at the window. It hit the glass, making a hole. The air started flowing out and the turtles let out their breaths, relieved because they couldn't hold it anymore. "We're good! Let's go!" Leo said. But they heard a warping sound from behind them. "The portal! We're too late!" Donnie panicked. "Somethings' coming through." Leo warned.

The warping and bright lights stopped and there stood a rock and lava monster. They were smoking from the heat. They looked up and their lava eyes met the turtles. It rose up to it's full height, towering over all of them. "Welcome to earth, giant rock man." Mikey greeted, hoping it would be friendly. The rock an roared in their faces and started advancing. "So, yeah. Here's the thing. I'm not coming down there." The turtles watched as the monster stood above them, foot raised. "Scatter!" Leo yelled. The turtled flipped and jumped out of the way of the huge igneous monster. "Wow, and entity made of living rock! I wish I could study him." Donnie mumbled to himself as he ran to the monster and jumped onto it's head, pulling his staff out of it's holder. Donnie jumped down, swinging his staff at the monster's foot. The impact made the stick shake, sending the vibrations up to Donnie. "Study him after we smash him to a million pieces." Leo said, dodging the rock's fist. He unsheathe his katana's and tried to cut the beast at the foot, only to have his weapon break in half. "...or not..." Leo said, right before dodging another punch.

Leo flipped away, and Donnie continued to smack the rock man silly. Raph and Mikey slid into the battle, advancing together. The rock monster started to quake and opened it's mouth. Lava started pouring out, just missing the turtles. And for some reason, the lava casted a shadow onto the metal floor, even though it's a source of light in itself. Watch out for the lava barf!" Raph yelled. He flipped onto the wall and ran across it. He tried to kick the rock man in it's face, but the monster block him with his fist, making Raph spin out of control in the air. The monster caught him, and Raph struggled to get out of it's hold. "Ah, shoot." Raph whined. The rock monster wound back and threw Raph across the room, where he smacked into one of the portal guns and fell to the ground. Mikey and Donnie saw his brother's misfortune, and turned to see the rock monster was about to smack them silly. They, too, flew over to the portal, and Raph covered his head to keep himself from getting anymore damage. "Vixen! We need your help down here!" Mikey yelled into the walkie-talkie, watching the rock monster close in.

"What am I supposed to do? I'm human, that thing will squish me!" She said. "I thought you said there was nothing from this world that you were afraid of!" Mikey yelled. "That thing is not from this world Mikey.....hang tight..." she groaned. The monster was getting closer, and just when the tree thought they would bite the dust, Leo came rushing in. He threw 3 smoke bombs and blinded the menus. The rock giant let out a roar of anger and started thrashing around. When he saw Leo he tried to grab him, but the blue masked turtle was too quick. Leo flipped to the very top of the floor, right where the windows are. He started at the monster, eye to eye. The monster wounded up and threw a punch. The stone hand blasted through the wall, and when the dust cleared, Leo was gone. He jumped back down with white eyes. He crossed his arms and a cry was heard from the right. "BOOYAKASHA!" Mikey yelled. The rock man turned just in time to see the 3 other turtled flying at them with full speed, kicking him to the ground. The monster fell with a mighty thumb and the lab shook.

But as soon as he went down, he got back up. "Do we have anything that can hurt this thing?" Raph asked. "Okay, this might be crazy, but water. I don't know where to get it, but water." Vixen said. "What about the explosives, that might do it. But then we wouldn't be able to take out the portal." Donnie suggested. "Unless we do both at the same time. Hand 'em over." Leo ordered. Donnie slipped the bag off and gave it to Leo. Mikey threw down a smoke bomb and the 5 were gone. The rock monster looked around for them, but couldn't find them. From the ledge behind, Leo jumped off with the set bomb. He flipped onto the monster's back and slipped the bag on, making sure the bomb part was far from it's stone grasps. He flipped off and the monster struggled with reaching the brown leather bag. "Awesome, Leo." Mikey praised, but them gasped seeing the rock monster distracted. "So, how do we get him to the portal?" Mikey asked. "Uh, I kind of hadn't thought that far ahead." Leo admitted. Then, the elevator bell dinged. The doors opened, and a broken kraang bot was thrown out.

Leatherhead stood there, menacingly, then walked out to meet his new opponent. "Leatherhead!" Mikey shouted with glee. Each teen had a different reaction, Mikey was happy, Leo was filled with hope, Vixen was filled with relief, Raph was curious, and Donnie has wet himself. "Traag!" Leatherhead yelled, getting the lava monster's attention. Traag turned to the mutant alligator. Leatherhead roared and threw a kraang at Traag, who simply swatted it away. Leatherhead and Traag started to wrestle, Leatherhead, kicking Traag's butt. "Leatherhead, get him by the portal!" Donnie yelled. Leatherhead simply threw Traag and he landed on the portal's base. Donnie took out his T-phone and pressed the detonate button. The beeping became louder, quicker and more high pitched. Then....BOOM! Smoke and metal went flying everywhere. "We did it!" Donnie cheered. "Yeah!" Leo smiled. Leatherhead growled in victory. "Yeah!" Raph shouted. "High three!" Mikey celebrated. "Uh, guys...we have a problem...." Vixen said as she pointed to the explosion site.

"What the-" Leo mumbled. "It's still standing?" Donnie asked with disbelief. "High Three canceled." Mikey pouted. "What are we supposed to do now?" Donnie asked. "I could punch it a few times, but I don't think that's gonna do it." Raph said. The turtled slumped in defeat, until Mikey noticed something. "Uh, guys?" The heard growling and saw that Traag was reassembling himself. "Well, this day can't get any worse." Raph stated. As Traag placed his head back on, his eyes flared up with fire and the portal powered up again. "And it just did." Raph deadpanned. "Something else might come through!" Donnie said as they watched the orb become bigger. "What do we do now?" Donnie asked helplessly. "Pray and hope it get's better?" Vixen shrugged. Leatherhead roared and stomped towards his risen foe. He jumped on Traag and started to beat the lava out of him. "Leatherhead, something else is coming through!" Mikey yelled to his friend. "Not if I can help it." LH growled and he picked up Traag.

"Farewell, my friends." LH said sadly as he walked through the portal. "Leatherhead, no!" Mikey shouted. He started walking towards the portal but Vixen held him back. "Mikey, you can't!" Leatherhead walked through and the portal started going all wonky. I went into a silent explosion of light and the 5 of them were thrown back. The portal was fried and the mission was completed at a cost. "Leatherhead- I can't believe he's gone." Mikey cried. "Don't worry Mikey. He grew up in dimension X, so he'll be fine. Besides, if he got here once, he can get here again. Just have hope." Vixen smiled. "We've got to get out of here." Leo said. "We can't just leave! With that portal operational, the kraang are more dangerous than ever. We have to destroy it." Donnie protested. "Did you not see that smoke? That thing was made for one way trips, only. Leatherhead bring Traag back totally messed it up. That thing is fried. We need to come back later, when we understand kraang technology better. " Vixen argued. Then the elevator door opened and kraang started to pile in. "Like Vixen said, later." They flipped up the wall and to the hole that Traag made. "We'll be back." Leo said. "And better than ever." Vixen finished as they used their grappling hooks to zip out of there.

(Time Skip)

Under the city, in the lair, Splinter and April waited for the arrival of the turtles. Splinter waited patiently while April paced back and forth. The turtles and Vixen walked through the turnstiles, head hanging low. "Oh, you're okay!" April shouted. She ran over to Donnie and gave him a big hug. Vixen smiled a little, seeing her ship starting to sail. "Welcome home my sons and student. Was you mission successful?" Master Splinter asked. They flopped onto the couch. Vixen sat up and Mikey layed his head on her lap, as she rubbed his head. "Afraid not, Sensei. Leatherhead's gone." Leo sighed. "Not gone, just not here. He's sacrificed himself and went to dimension X to save us." Vixen corrected. Every looked down at the lost of their freind. April touch Donnie's shoulder, to comfort him. "Yeah, he saved us. And I found this." Mikey said as he held up the metal peice he found earlier. "Oh, good, now you're picking up alien trash." Raph retorted. Donnie looked over and went wide eyed. "Do you realize what this is?" Donnie asked as he took the 'trash'. "Shiny." Mikey answered, making Vixen chuckle. "Never change, Mikey. Never change." "It's a kraang data storage device! If I can decode it, maybe it can help us find a way to stop them."

(Later)

Mikey was watching a show about a hero with super powers defeating an ugly creature. "This just doesn't make sense. If the kraang are trying to terraform the earth, what do they need my dad for?" April asked Splinter. "Well, he is a scientist." Leo answered. "Yeah, but he's a psychologist. He studies rats running through mazes. No offense." She said as she realized that might has offended Master Splinter. "I like a good maze." He nodded. "My dad wouldn't know anything about what they're trying to do." April finished. "But if they didn't need your dad, why were they after him in the first place?" Raph asked, laying on the stairway above. The door the lab opened. "I don't think they were." Donnie shared. Everyone piled into the lab, behind the computer where Donnie was working. "I used the kraang processor inside metalhead to access that storage device. A lot of the files are damaged, but I think I found what they're after." Donnie pressed a button and picture started popping up, all of April. Each one containing info about her, her family, her friends, and all their personal lives. April gasped in pure shock. "They're after me?" She breathed. "The plot thickens." Vixen mumbles.
