Karai's Vendetta(Part 1)
At Shredder's Lair
Panicked shrieks echoed throughout the room as a kraang snarled in anger. Shredder was holding it up by the head as it's tentacles whipped around in a desperate manner. Karai, fueled by betrayal and anger, watched with a smirk. Eclipse sat on the steps to Shredder's throne, watching with pure, sadistic amusement. Even thought the alien was -as they called it- their child, they couldn't help by find pure joy at it's fear. "Why were you hunting the turtles?" Shredder asked the creature, only to be answered by inaudible squealing and babbling. "They don't talk much outside their little houses." Karai informed as he tapped the decapitated kraang bot. The arms and legs of the bot were ripped clean off. Shredder slammed the alien in the control center and it rushed to settle itself in before he would hurt it again. The suit started powering up, but because of ripped wires and busted memory chips, it started flailing its limbs. Finally, the kraang got the voice box to work. "Kr-kr- kraang is lacking the knowledge to answer the questions that the one known as Shredder is asking of kraang." It replied.
"Do they all talk like this?" Shredder asked, finding their speech annoying, "Not all of them do. Just the expendable ones." Eclipse cackled. "Even if the kraang is possessing the knowledge, the ones known as Shredder will never be getting that knowledge from kraang." The bot spoke bravely. "You didn't have any other plans for today, did you?" Karai humored. "Let's try again." Shredder started, A blade popped out of his metallic glove. He pointed the sharp blade to the kraang's face, frightening the poor creature. "Why were you hunting the turtles?" Shredder repeated, a sharper tone in his voice. "The ones known as the turtles are protecting the life form needed by kraang, the one known as April O'Neil." The kraang answered. "Who is this April O'Neil?" Shredder pressed. "She is the one known as the one. She is the link which is missing in the plan which is the plan of kraang." It continued. "So this, April O'Neil is at the center of everything." Karai deduced. "Then perhaps we can use her to draw the turtles out of hiding. Karai, find this girl, and bring her to me." Karai gently nodded and walked away to complete her mission.

The 6 teens were down in the lair, in the dojo. The turtles were sparing against each other, April was going against Master Splinter and Vixen was hanging out in the tree, waiting for her session with Splinter. Because of....events that happened yesterday, she had requested that her training would be a different time from the turtles, which Splinter accepted. Master Splinter slowly walked back and he dodged April's attacks. Donnie and Leo were going at it, while Mikey had the displeasure of battling Raph. Donnie tried to swing at Leo's head, but the blue masked turtles ducked under and grabbed the end of his bo staff, tucking it under his arm. Then, his free hand hit Donnie in the face. Master Splinter moved out of April's range and adjusted her stance turning her head to watch the other turtles. "What you gonna do? What you gonna do?" Raph teased. Vixen rolled her eyes. Raph advanced at Mikey, jumping up with his Sais in hand. He dove down right where Mikey was.
Mikey quickly ducked and grabbed Raph's wrists, pushing him away with his feet. Raph screamed and landed on the ground with a grunt, his Sais clattering away from him. Vixen rose an eyebrow, not expecting such a move from the small turtle. "Booyakasha! You got faced! Thought you had me, but I played you like a trombone." Mikey taunted. He started playing an imaginary trombone as Raph got up. Raph grabbed Mikey and started choking him. "Play time's over, tough guy!" He smirked as he lifted Mikey off the ground. "Put me down! Enough! Uncle!" Mikey screamed. "I don't see you tapping out." Raph continued. "I can't move my arms." Mikey grunted. Raph started squeezing harder. "Then tap your horrible, disgusting middle toe." Raph suggested. Mikey pushed out his left foot and wiggled his middle toe. Raph dropped Mikey to the ground. "Don't worry, stubby. You're not as horrible as he says." Mikey cooed to his toe. "Michelangelo, why did you give up so easily?" Master Splinter asked. "There was nothing I could do." Mikey admitted. "There is always something you can do." Sensei explained.
"Observe. Raphael, kunnuki jime!" He ordered. Raph stared at his father with fear, not wanting to be the example of a fighting lesson. Master Splinter walked over the Raph and the shorter turtles grabbed his from behind, holding his up like his did with Mikey. "The key is to unbalance your opponent." Sensei continued. "But how?" Mikey asked as he sat crisscross on the mat next to April. "However you can. For example..." Master Splinter licked Raph's head. Raph, disgusted, pushed him away and tried to wipe off the spit. Distracted, Master Splinter knocked him off his feet with his tail. Raph feel to the ground, very dazed and in pain. "Whoa..." Mikey awed. Master Splinter chuckled. "You see? There is always a way. Blech, and you need to take a bath." Master splinter said to Raph, who simply groaned in response. Master Splinter walked away. Training was over and it was now Vixen's turn. The others started filling out. "Good luck, V." Mikey said to the girl. But she ignored him and continued to warm up, making Mikey whimper. He knew that she was still mad at all of them, but he just couldn't deal with his best friend pretending like he didn't exist. It broke his heart. "Maybe, when the week's over, I'll do something really nice to prove that I'm sorry. But what? What does Vixen like?" He wonder and he sat down in the tv pit, grabbing a slice of pizza. Raph was feeding Spike some lettuce as Leo watched another episode of Space heroes.
Alien roared in anger, holding space crew members in it's grasps. The people aboard the ship were forced to watch. "The landing party is under attack by the digesters! We have to save them!" Crankshaw shouted, only to be slapped by Captain Ryan. Crankshaw held his cheek, in pain from a forceful contact. "If we keep bailing them out, they'll never learn to take care of themselves." Captain Ryan stated. "But, this is their first mission, and they don't even have weapons!" Crankshaw argued, worries for his co-workers. "Then, they'd better learn fast." The captain finalized, right before a woman's screams were heard followed by the crunching of bones and an alien belch. The others watched horrified as the woman was eaten alive by the digester. "Say Doctor Mindstrong, weren't you in love with that one?" The Captain asked heartlessly. "I...was, Captain." Mindstrong choked out, saddened at the lost of his crush. "Well, it looks like you both learned a lesson today." Ryan concluded.
"Hey guys. Guess what April and I have been up to." Donnie smiled as he poked his head out from the lab. The other 3 looked at him, not even wanting to guess. Leo turned the TV off, knowing that this was going somewhere. "That's right! Analyzing sewage." Donnie answered. "Who says you don't know how to show a girl a good time?" Raph asked sarcastically as he fed Spike more lettuce. Just then, Vixen walked out of the dojo. Donnie smiled nervously at her, to which she rolled her eyes and headed into the lab, followed by the others. "April and I were going through some files on the Kraang storage device. We found out that they're using a special process to change the Earth's water into kraang water." Donnie explained. "They've already started the process. We found a low concentration of kraang chemicals in the sewage." April added. "Woah..." Mikey awed. "And I take it that's a bad thing." Raph piped in. "Watch what happens when I dip this slice of Mikey's shrimp and sardine pizza into pure Kraang water." Donnie started and he placed the food in the green liquid.
Mikey screamed out as the pizza turned into literal goo. "How do you sleep at night?" Mikey asked the purple clad turtle. "Presently, there's only a tiny bit in the water supply, but the concentrations is increasing, which means-" Donnie started. "Every slice of pizza in New York will be destroyed?" Mikey whimpered. "Along with anyone who uses water." April sighed. "I don't want to live in a world without pizza." Mikey sobbed as he yanked the pizza boxes from under the container. The glass container flew up and headed towards April. "Look out!" Donnie screamed. The kraang water landed on April's hand. The turtles and Vixen all exclaimed in horror. April grunted, waiting for the liquid to burn through her hand, but nothing happened. "Huh? Wh-" April mumbled in confusion. "Nothing happened to you." Donnie gasped in relief. "Maybe it's because she's not made out of pizza." Mikey suggested. Suddenly, a beeping sound started playing and the 6 all looked to Donnie's computer. "The scanner located the kraang facility transforming the water supply, which is right here. We gotta stop it!" Donnie announced.
"Looks like we got a mission. Vixen, April, are you coming?" Leo asked. "Sounds like a blast but unfortunately, it's on the bottom of the east river, and equally unfortunately, I have an essay due. Plus I wouldn't mind a little human food." April softly turned down. "Pizza's human food." Mikey pointed out. "Not the way you eat it." April chuckled. "Whoa, whoa, whoa, you're-you're going topside?" Donnie tried to climb over the table, but fell, shattering a glass. "You got your T-phone, right?" Donnie asked. "Donnie, don't worry. I'll be fine." April insisted, right before checking her arm once more before leaving. "What about you, Vixen? I know you're still mad at us, but..." Raph trailed off. Vixen looked to the 4 and slowly nodded. "Great. So, Donnie, how are we gonna get out there?" Leo asked. "Don't worry, guys. I've been working on something that is pretty awsome." Donnie assured.
************************************************************************************************************
A creaking sound muffled through the water as a metallic turtle slowly swam through the murky water. Huffs, puffs and grunts could be heard from inside the ship. "This...is not...awesome." Raph groaned. Leo, Mikey, Raph and Vixen were all pedaling on their individual bikes which powered the ship. They had been going for 30 minutes and were beyond tired. "Seriously, Donnie? A submarine powered by bicycles?" Leo complained. "You know what would have been more efficient? Swimming!" Raph yelled. Mikey let out a short laugh, because he found Raph's comment funny. "Hey, pipe down, guys. First of all, Vixen can't breath underwater or hold her breath for as long as we can, so this benefits her." Donnie started. "Thanks, I hate it." Vixen muttered, speaking for the first time. "Plus, kinetic energy is the only way to charge the engines, which should be done right about...now." Donnie flipped 2 switches and turned up a dial. The flippers of the submarine stopped and the rocket on the back fire up, shooting them through the water at an incredible speed.
The 4 biking teen finally stopped and let out breathy groans, glad that the whole ordeal was over. "We're almost there. Up periscope." Leo instructed. The periscope dropped in front of him and was unfortunately made out of a dirty toilet seat cover. Leo's face was pulled into a tight frown, getting real close to his breaking point of the day. The submarine peacefully swam through the foggy water, when something big swam past them quickly from a distance. Leo heard the slosh of water and turned the periscope to get a glimpse of some type of creature circling them, gasping. "Uh, Donnie?" Leo called, getting the purple clad turtle's attention. "Any chance this Kraang facility looks like a giant sea mutant?" Leo asked. "Oh, that's not a mutant. Based on his physiology, I'd say the Kraang brought him here from dimension 'X'." Donnie explained. "How is that less horrifying?" Leo shuttered. "It's not. I just like to be accurate." Donnie shrugged.
"Well, whatever it is, it looks like it's guarding that." Raph chimed in, pointing out a weird structure attached to the sea flood. It looked like a pasta strainer -without any of the holes- being held down by chains. Two ports on the front, spewing out a cloud of kraang water. "Wow." Donnie awed. Leo pushed back up the periscope and whispered, "Let's go stealth." The lights went off, only a few red light illuminating the inside. The turtles' eyes turned white and Vixen pulled her hair up in a ponytail.

Meanwhile
April was walking home from school, enjoying her peaceful day up on the surface. After a few lessons from Master Splinter she was given the green light to be able to walk around like she used to. She decided that it would be best to stop by at Murakami's for a late lunch, due to the fact that the food provided at school was absolutely disgusting. What she didn't know was that a figure was watching her from the rooftops, waiting for the perfect chance to strike. April walked to the shop and was interested in a machine that was installed to the right of it. She knelt down, trying to understand the Japanese that was written all over it. "Hmm, this is new." She hummed to herself. "What is this thing?" She pondered aloud. A figure walked up from behind her, a hand on her hip. "Oh, that's how you order." She explained, placing a coin in the slot, then clicking the food of her choice. "They have these in Tokyo." She continued, grabbing the fallen wooden block from the bottom. "You give this to the chef." She finished.
"Oh, thanks." April breathed with relief. She looked back at the machine, recognized the button for pizza gyoza, and clicked it. "Mind if I join you?" The girl asked. "Sure, why not?" April accepted, walking toward the door of the establishment. The figure turned to reveal that it was Karai, not that April would know that. Inside the shop, Murakami stirred a pot with a large wooden spoon. April opened the door, ringing the bell. "Hi, Murakami-san." She greeted, cheerfully. "April-Chan!" He greeted back. Karai grabbed the door, closing it behind her, making it seen like only one person was in there. "You'll have to wait a bit. I'm just finishing another customer's dish." He gestured to a person sitting on the side of the round table. They had a grey hoodie with the hood up and the strings almost drawn. Blonde hair stuck from the hole in the hood a bit. The figure drummed their fingers on the table patently. Their nails were long and sharp, painted black and they had fingerless gloves. The figure waved the two girls before 2 bowls was placed before them. One was cold Soba and the other was Gyudon.
April placed down the wooden slab and Murakami felt around for it, picking it up and rubbing it with his thumb. "Ah, pizza gyoza." He smiled. "Hai. Chou Oishi." She recited proudly. "You speak Japanese?" Karai asked, surprised. "I picked up a few words from...my brothers." April hesitated. "Brothers? Tell me about them." Karai insisted. "Oh, you know, just crazy-" "Animals?" Karai interrupted, with a knowing smirk. "Pretty much." April chuckled awkwardly. "Although I've never heard of pizza gyoza back in Tokyo." Karai smiled. "That's because Murakami invented it. You should try one." April offered. "That sounds great. You should try some of mine." Karai returned. April laughed, glad to make a new friend. "Done." She agreed. Karai slammed her wood slab down and Murakami felt it, his face paling at what it was. "Hai." He shakily agreed, suddenly saddened. "What's your name?" Karai asked. "I'm April." She grinned. "My name's Harmony." Karai lied.

The monster roared as it made it's rounds around the ship. It looked up to see the T-sub going towards it at top speed. It started towards the submarine when a ball of light flew out of one of the rockets and roomed past the creature. Seeing it's new target, the X monster swam after it. "We gotta get in there before that sea monster comes back." Leo ordered. "How are we gonna get past those guards?" Mikey whispered. "We make them come to us." Leo smirked. The T-sub went over to a pile of rocks and picked up one exceptionally large one. Then, it lodged the stone in one the flow tunnels. Soon after, two kraang bots cam out and started trying to pull the rock from the post while the turtles snuck inside from the top. They dropped down from the ceiling, water dripping off of them. Vixen wrung the water from her shirt ad hair. "We're in!" Donnie celebrated. "And that thing is back! How are we gonna get out of here?" Raph announced as the creature swam past the window. "We'll worry about that later. Right now, we're got bigger fish to fry." Leo quipped as the 3 started running towards the control panel.
"I don't think we're gonna find a bigger fish than that." Mikey smirked. The others groaned in annoyance. "What? Come on, that was good. You gotta give me that one. Vixen, tell them how good it was." He told the taller girl who was walking next to him. She gave him side glance that was a mix between extreme annoyance and fury, her mouth turning into a scowl, browns furrowing. A shiver went down the terrapin's spine from utter fear. "Right. No talking until the end of the week unless necessary." Mikey muttered sadly, rubbing his arm. Vixen felt a bit of guilt in the put of her stomach and sighed. It was impossible to stay mad at these guys, no matter what they do. They were utterly too charming for their own good. Vixen patted the small turtle and muttered, "It was alright." And continued to walk, not knowing how much that small gesture meant to the small turtle.

Back with April and Karai
"So what brings you to New York?" April asked as Karai pulled two chopsticks apart and rubbed the splinters off. "I'm with my Dad. He's here trying to close an old deal." She smirked. "Oh. What does he do?" April asked. "He's in kitchen utensils. Knives, mostly." Karai continued. Murakami walked up with a wooden plate and a bowl. He set the plate in front of April and the bowl for Karai. "Itadakimasu." Karai thank, bowing her head and clasping her hands. April copied Karai in an attempt to be polite to Murikami. "Alright, let's see what these pizza potstickers are all about?" Karai stated as she picked up one and eat it. "Mm. Best dumpling ever!" Kara exclaimed. "I know, right?" April cheered. "Now you try mine." Karai insisted, pushing her bowl in front of April. "What is it?" April asked, taking a spoon and blowing the hot liquid. "Suppon Nabe. Turtle soup." April's eyes sprung open and everything clicked. "Karai." She shivered. "In person." She cooed. April dropped her spoon and backed towards the door.
"Uh, I gotta go." April rushed as she tried to leave. "I was thinking you'd come with me, April O'Neil." She smirked, grabbing onto the redhead's bag. "My father would love to meet you." She pulled the bag back, chocking April with the strap of her bag. April tried to pull away, but it was in vain. "Let go of me!" April grunted. Murikami came up from behind them and shouted, spilling Karai's hot turtle soup on her face. Karai let April go, making her fall to the floor. April sprung up and ran out the door, Karai trying to follow her but Murikami stopped her, pretending to apologies for what he did. Karai got loose of his grip and followed April, leaving the old man. The stranger had their face stuffed with Soba, quickly slurping it up. They took it all in one big gulp and reached over to eat April's discarded food. "Hey, Mr.! I'd like to order what they had."
