Wow....this took me 3 chapters. I'm not sure that I'm gonna have enough material that make this long enough. Or will I?

The turtles and Vixen ran down the street, screaming as the molted cockroach followed them. It was amazing at how the people of New York were still sleeping after all this. Raph tripped over something and fell flat on his plastron. He turned in time to see the roach swoop down and grab him. The mutant flew over head, tossing Raph up and down. It licked Raph's face, making the red clad turtles want to puke. Raph stubbed the roach, and it dropped him in return. Raph flew through the air and fell into a trash bin. He panted as he went up for air, feeling something crawl up his arm. He looked tp see a small cockroach resting there. He freaked out and tried to smash it, but it always jumped away in time. The mutant flew down and roared at Raph as if he saw what just happened. The mutant stalked closer and Raph let out a high pitched scream as he dove out the bin. "Start the engine! Start the engine!" Raph squealed as he saw the van up ahead. Leo, Mikey and Vixen were already there. They jumped in, followed by Raph and went to their stations. "Donnie, did you get this thing working?" Leo asked.

"We got bigger problems. We gotta stop that drill!" Donnie alerted as he showed that the kraang had already started drilling. "Donnie! That was not the question! You were not there, but that Cockroach terminator turned into a Malicious Monstrosity!" Vixen fumed. "You know I don't like the 'm' word." Donnie shot back. "Well too bad. Malicious, Malicious, Malicious!" Mikey stated. "He meant to word Monstrosity." Vixen deadpanned. Raph turned on his monitor and saw the devil himself. He took a moment to cringe then went into battle mode. He started shooting hot balls of garbage, but they harmlessly bounced off the thing. "What the-" The beast opened the doors, only to be kicked out by Mikey. "Take that!" He shouted. Donnie hit something with a metal thingamabob and the Shellraiser sped off. "I had my chance, and I couldn't face him. I just...couldn't do it." Raph beat himself up. Leo was about to say something when Vixen slapped her hand over his mouth. "NOT. A. WORD." She threatened.

"Look on the bright side. In 15 minutes, we could all melt in the fountain of lava. Okay, that sounded brighter in my head." Mikey admitted. Donnie was typing on his computer, trying to see if there was any info in the blueprints that they could use. "The laser drill is just past the front gate. Kraang droids everywhere. Hope you have a good plan." Donnie informed Leo. "I'm gonna ram through the gate, and we'll go from there." Leo stated. "Works for me." Leo looked over to Raph who was sulking next to him. Leo was plenty angry, but knew he couldn't say anything. Raph caught his brother's gaze and looked away, as if to say I know I messed up as much as you know it. Vixen caught the little glace transaction and took a mental note to get revenge. But right now, Raph needed someone. "Hey Raph, remember that time when Leo thought you were too angry, so they left you behind? Turns out they had to face spider bites and almost lost their lives. Good thing you showed up, right? Bet they were plenty scared." Vixen shared as she spun in her chair. Raph picked up his head a little.

"And what about that time when Metalhead got taken over and started shooting at us non stop. Again, almost died. But, then Donnie saved us. And lets never forget when Stockman got a hold of the T-pod, and Mikey stopped him twice. By shoving hot pizza and bees in his face. Oh! How about that time when the M.O.U.S.E.R.S attacked? The best fight I've seen in a long time. And when Leo went off and met Karai-" "Vixen where are you going with this?" Leo sighed. "Well, LEO, what I'm trying to say is that everyone has their weak moments. But that doesn't make them weak. There was always at least one mission where someone felt as if they were lower than the rest because of a weapon, an anger management problem, trouble with leading, or a fear. You guys have always found a way to better and conquer what was holding you back and make yourselves better. Even against all the odds and all the people doubting you. So, after all that, I would expect for all of you to not judge someone in their rough patch. Because 1) you went through one yourselves. And 2) this is just the process of becoming better.

I don't like seeing you guy upset, in pain and doubting yourselves. You guys are special and unique. Heck! You're TMNT! Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. At the age of 15, you're able to kick the butt of people twice your own age. You guys are really cool and I'm here wondering why I'm even here. You guys are way more special than me. And because your special, I think a fear of cockroaches can be swept under a rug, don't you think? Just watch. Raph's gonna be saving our behinds, again. Because he's a tough turtle. And a ninja. And ninja never quit." She said softly as she patted his head. "Thank V...again." Raph gave a soft smile. "Welcome. Now, let's show that bug who's boss!" Vixen cheered as she put her hair up in a ponytail. The alarm started buzzing. "Uh-Oh. We got company... again" Donnie said as the mutant flew off screen. Then there was a loud thump followed by more, smaller thumps. "What was that?" Raph asked. More thumps. "Where is it?" Raph said, starting to freak out. The mutant opened the top hatch and grabbed Mikey, right before Donnie could grab him first. "It's got Mikey!" Donnie shouted.

The roach started flying away as Mikey screamed in fear. "We've got to do something." Leo said as he drove the van. "I'll stop him." Raph volunteered. "You don't have to do this just to prove your not afraid." Leo stated. "I am afraid. And that's why I have to do this." Raph admitted. "I'll go with you." Vixen said. "No. I have to do this alone." Raph said firmly. He opened a latch and looked inside. "I'm coming, Mikey. No six-foot-tall cockroach is gonna eat my brother." Raph hoped in and Leo pulled a lever. You could see the guilt on his face. He was sorry for how he treated Raph and was proud of his for being so brave at a time like this. Vixen took Raph's place and started looking over the buttons. "Hey, Donnie. What's this?" Vixen asked as she pointed at a small empty container that laid away from everything else. "Oh...I've been working on a new cannon. It's kinda like a kraang blaster. I haven't been able to find a power source for it yet." Donnie informed as he typed away on his computer. Vixen had a small flashback to the small crystals that she found. "Not yet...Soon, but not yet." She whispered as she watched Raph ride around. The mutant threw Mikey at the van and Mikey scrambled to get inside.

"Mikey! Oh, my goodness, you're safe!" Vixen sighed in relief as she hugged the smaller turtle. "Did that bug hurt you? Are there any scratches, bruises? If there are, I'll kill him." Vixen threatened. "Well, my wrist hurts a little.." Mikey answered. "I'm gonna murder his whole blood line." Vixen promised. "Good to see your back to normal. I like the old Vixen better." Leo interrupted. "Oh, I'm sorry. Am I annoying you, Leo? Do you find this annoying Leo? Is this annoying to you?" Vixen repeated as she poked his head multiple times. He swatted her hand away. "What is with you today?" Leo asked. "What's with you today? You've been acting like a jerk to Raph this entire time. Seriously." Vixen ranted as she sat in her chair crossing legs and arms. "I'm just stressed out because we're about to be swimming in a pool of lava." Leo stressed as he drove closer to the kraang base.

"No we're not. We're gonna live. We're awesome at kicking kraang butt." Vixen scoffed. "I think I can see what Raph was talking when he said you two were hate flirting." Donnie snickered. "SHUT UP, DONNIE!" The two shouted as they looked to the tall turtle, then turning back to each other. "Look, I know there's some stress between you two, but Leo, can you keep your eyes on the road!" Mikey screamed. Leo looked to see he was about to ram right into an electric pole. He swerved the Shellraiser and the sudden jerk made everyone jolt to the right. Donnie, Leo and Mikey were fine because they were in their seats, but Vixen was standing. So she got yeeted across the van and slammed her head against the wall. "Bravo 6, going dark." She said loopily, before her head slacked. "Leo, be more careful! Vixen just got knocked out!" Mikey wailed as he tried to drag her back to her seat. "Well, maybe that's a good thing." Leo shrugged. "Seriously? What is going on between you two today? Every since Vixen first got here, you've been making snarky remarks towards her." Mikey complained.

"Look, I'm sorry. Alright. But lately....I haven't been able to trust Vixen 100%." Leo admitted. "WHAT?!" Donnie and Mikey screamed. Mikey, screaming because his own brother didn't trust his best friend. Donnie screamed because he honestly did not expect that response. "Come on, guys. Haven't you noticed? She's as good, maybe even better at fighting than us, she's finished collage before the normal human starts it, she seems way wiser than her years, it's like she always knows what's gonna happen and how to avoid it, not to mention super strong. And ever since the whole Karai mission, it's like she's been hiding something. Just now when Donnie was telling her about his unfinished machine, she looked like she was trying to make a decision to tell us something or not. And let's not forget about that time when she was all like, 'you should enjoy your life with someone now, because you'll regret it later', that was some serious foreshadowing. I feel as if there's another side to Vixen that she's hiding from us. Either because she doesn't trust us, doesn't like it or she's too scared to." Leo ranted. "Well, it is her life. And if she wants to tell us, she will. Not everyone has a past that their proud of. And I don't think she's lying about her age." Donnie returned.

"Plus, this is Vixen we're talking about. Do you really think she, of all people, would purposely hurt us?" Mikey asked. "Guys, the kraang base is just up ahead. Get ready." Donnie announced. Up ahead was and kraang facility, and you could clearly see the top of the drilling machine. The kraang saw the Shellraiser barreling towards them and started preparing the defenses. The gate started closing and a bunch of guards ran out, starting to blast the van. "All right, guys, get ready. We're going in!" Leo shouted and he started driving faster. Leo plowed through the defending kraang as they monotonaly yelped in pain. The Shellraiser was closing in, but the gate was closing very quickly. The van got in half way, but because the hole was too small, the gate doors squeezed against the sides, effectively stopping the turtles from going any further. The suddenly jolt made everyone fly again, especially Vixen, who hit her head once more, jolting her out of her nap. "I'M UP! Wait, what's happening? And why does my head hurt?" She asked as she rubbed her forehead. "Are we in?" Mikey groaned. "No!" Leo shouted in defeat as the kraang started blasting the Shellraiser.

"Raph, we're stuck! It's up to you. Get the drill." Leo said through the T-phone. "I'm on it!" Raph yelled back, trying to be louder than the howling winds and the roaring engine. The mutant not-so-cockroach flying right behind him. The mutant landed right in Raph's path. "This is either going to be really cool, or really painful." Raph said to himself as he started accelerating. He was driving dead on to the mutant, but at the last minute, he lifted his front wheel, using the 'cockroach' as a ramp. He flew over the Shellraiser and the gate, all while screaming his lungs out. A couple of kraang tried shooting at his, but Raph's T-bike crashed into them, subduing them. The only problem was that Raph landed sideway, so the jolt also effected him. "Okay, it was both." Raph grunted as he pulled himself out the bike. The laser drill moved over with it's huge legs and continued to drill as one lone kraang guarded the machine. Raph climbed up at lightning speed and punched the kraang's lights out. 'The laser drill is at 400 meters from the earth core." The computer announced. "Not for long." Raph strained as he launched himself at the drill, climbing up the side.

When Raph reached the top, he heard a loud bang, and looked behind him to see the mutant standing there with rubber skid marks starting from it's stomach all the way to it's head. "Ugh! You gotta be kidding me!" Raph exclaimed in annoyance and frustration. "All right, insect. You think I'm scared of you? I aced your butt twice already. You want to go for number three, huh? Do ya? Come and get me!" Raph challenged as he threw his helmet at the 'cockroach'. The helmet bounced off the mutant's face and rocketed into the sky, making that cool little star thing that you see in tv shows. Raph immediately jumped on the 'cockroach', grabbing it's head. The 'roach' started flying off into the sky while screeching. Raph was constantly punching the 'roach' in the face as the greenish blue liquid spilled from it's mouth. The 'roach' fell from the sky and Raph slammed it's head on the top of the drill, shifting the laser's position. The two glared at each other before charging the locking hands, pushing against each other. The 'roach' took it's chance and headbutted Raph.

Raph fell to the ground and the 'roach' kicked him in the plastron. Raph grabbed a hold onto the leg and bit it. The 'roach' screamed in pain and Raph punched it in the face from below. The 'roach' fell back and Raph stood up, shaking off all the spit on his face. The 'roach' bopped Raph in the beak. The two started circling each other. "The laser drill is at 300 meters." At this point, the two were just exchanging slaps, punches, bites, and kicks. "200 meters." At this, something awoke in Raph, and he screamed out. He punched the 'roach' hard in the gut, then right in the face. The 'roach' flew back onto the platform below. "100 meters." Rah ran over the side and plunged his Sais into the machine, making it turn upwards. The drill moved away from the ground and started heading upwards. Raph ran along the drill, to keep the movement going. When the laser finally reached him, he plunged his Sais into it, pulled the laser out and pointed it at the 'roach'. "Drill this!" He yelled.

The laser made the mutant expand until it exploded. Raph used the laser to cut the legs off the drill. He jumped up, caught the helmet that was yeeted upwards, hopped on his bike and started driving off. Raph rammed into the kraang that were still shooting the Shellraiser. The gate doors opened and Leo was able to back out. The Shellraiser reversed and Raph drove into the pit. They made a U turn and sped off as the kraang shot at them. The kraang retreated to their base, but they all passed a gross little blob covered in slime. The blob moved and showed that it was a baby version of the mutant Raph just defeated. Something walked towards it and picked it up and it started screeching for attention. "Hush my little abomination. All will be made right when the time comes." The figure caressed the mutant's cheek making it purr in satisfaction. The figure's features could not be made out. Only a cloak and black clawed gloves. The figure soon started to boil in anger.

"You failed me! You all did! You are a disgrace!" They screamed at the kraang. "How are we supposed to take over this forsaken planet if you can't even set off a simple lava flow? I gave you the simplest instructions, I showed you the diamond, I even help by giving a little distraction to the so called 'heroes' of this city! You're all pathetic! Can't even stop some turtles and a weak earthling! Get back in there, and don't come out until you have come up with a new way to destroy the city!" They ranted. The kraang marched inside the base to follow their master's orders. "It's hard to get good help these days. If you want something done, you'll have to do it yourself." They sneered as they walked into the base. The figure continued to pet the mutant baby. "You are so much more than all my other creations, my child. You're processor was weak and was taken out by a strong light. But, under me, you will become powerful. And if you don't, then I'll just throw you away with the rest of the failures." They chuckled darkly.
************************************************************************************************************(In the lair)

It was pretty quite. Mikey played pinball, Raph punched the dummy, Donnie was working on his sketch for Vixen's new chair in the van, which she requested, Leo watched and Vixen was in the kitchen, putting frozen peas on her head. "Well, Raph, you faced your fear and saved the city. Not bad for the Wednesday." Leo praised. "Faced my fear? I conquered my fear!" Raph gloated, grabbing Mikey by the shoulders. "I looked my fear in the eye, and I zapped it to oblivion!" Raph finished, making Mikey awe. Raph dropped Mikey, making the younger turtle fall. "So you're not afraid of cockroaches anymore, huh?' Mikey asked. "Nope." Raph answered shaking his head. "Good, good. Then you won't mind the one I just slipped into your shell." Mikey added creepily. Raph's eye twitched and he started screaming and running around. The other 3 brothers laughed at Raph, knowing Mikey only joking. Raph caught onto this and tackled Mikey out of anger, making Donnie and Leo laugh even harder. "Can you guys come to the kitchen?" Vixen asked the 4. Leo and Donnie came in still chuckling, Raph was still mad and Mikey was rubbing his arm.

"So, even though I was knocked out in the van, I could still hear everything you guys said..." Vixen started. Leo visibly gulped. "...And, you're right. I realized that I have been acting weird from your perspective. It's just that with everything going on, I never really had a chance to really talk about my past with you guys. So, if you have any questions, feel free to ask. I'll only not answer if I feel it's too personal." She finished. The 4 looked at each other for a while. There was defiantly some things that they went to ask her, but they didn't want to be the first one. Donnie decided to break the ice and ask something that he always wondered. "How are you 16, yet you finished school?" He asked. "I was home schooled for 4 years and then started regular school. But, I was always 4 years ahead of everyone. And for collage, you don't need to be there for 4 years. I finished all my credits in 3." She admitted. "What was that whole thing with, 'you should enjoy the time you have now' and stuff?" Leo asked. "Well, I always heard that my grandma was the sweetest person and that she loved me a lot. But, I never met her because I was so focused on school. She died recently and I can't help but blame myself for not getting to know her properly." She sighed. The turtles talked to Vixen for a while and she answered most of their questions. The 5 were really getting close. "Man, I just realized. April is never here for the most important moments." Vixen scoffed as she smiled.
