(Y/n) kept her eyes low, the dirty tiled floor rubbing her palms raw. Before her, the Shredder and his accomplice, (S/N), plotting her demise right before her eyes. It was only a matter of time before they decided her fate, yet she couldn't bring herself to stop them, as if she could.
In fact, there was absolutely no motivation to do anything for (Y/n). Her friends had died at her own hands, her family was gone, and her only sister had turned against her.
The odds were definately not in her favor.
"Now, come here, creature," Shredders deep voice bounced around the room loudly. (Y/n) continued to stare at a specific tile in front of her as if it would jump at her at any given second, this time, though, abiding to Shredders order and rose to her feet, moving silently before him.
"Kneel"
(Y/n) paused, he wasn't only asking her for a simple motion, he was expecting her to surrender, everything.
Sure, there wasn't much left to give, but she still had her pride to protect, and would be sure to let the turtles memory live on.
"No" she whispered, her eyes focussed on the ground and her body jolting at any motion, for fear of her demise that could come at any second.
"Excuse me?"
"I said no!" (Y/n) squinted her eyes as years of frustration and pent up anger spilled from her scratchy throat, flying at the evil man before her like spikes.
Shredder was livid, his eyes practically bursting to flames and he jumped to his feet and released the knives in his armor.
Slowly, yet strongly he approached (Y/n), raising his weapon to her throat.
(Y/n) swallowed slowly, fiercely staring into her opponents eyes.
For a moment they glared at each other, both too prideful to back down or make a move, but the tension in the air held just as every person in the room held their breath.
It wasnt until the room erupted in red, flashing lights did the two break their gaze.
"Sir! The turtles have infiltrated the building!" A guard burst through the doors and screamed over the sirens wailing down the hallways. (Y/n) thought for a second, the turtles couldn't be alive, she saw them die!
She looked to Shredder, a sly grin tugged at the corners of his mouth, confirming the horrid truth,
She had been fooled.
"You tricked me!"
"It was too easy, doll, you are as weak as your father!" He bellowed, raising his knives above his head, then brought them down over her own.
(Y/n) fell down to the floor and covered her head, preparing for a blow,
But it didn't come.
Hesitantly, she moved her head from her arms and glanced up to find Leo, his swords crossed in an 'x' over his head, blocking Shredders attack.
"Well, turtle, can't say that I am surprised," Shredder growled, ripping his arm back and proceeding to slice at Leo's legs.
Leo drew his shoulders back and blocked his attack, using his leg to push (Y/n) away.
(Y/n)'s eyes filled with tears as she watched Leo take on the Shredder, over-joyed that he was alive and well.
As they fought, (Y/n) noticed her sister, (S/n), creeping along the sides of the wall towards the door.
Without a second though, (Y/n) jumped to her feet and bolted to the door, slamming it shut just seconds before her sister reached it.
"Gah!" Her sister screamed, raising a small dagger to (Y/n)'s throat quickly, almost without effort.
(Y/n) put her hands in front of her, showing that she would not be a threat, but refused to step away from the exit.
"You need to move, right now" (S/n)'s voice broke slightly, but her eyes remained the same, glaring almost through her sister.
"I can't let you get away, you know that."
"Always telling me what to do! You are not my sister any more! You can leave me alone!" Tears threatened to surface in (Y/n)'s younger sisters eyes as she pushed slightly against (Y/n)'s neck, drawing blood.
"No-not your sister anymore? I've always been your sister! I always will be your sister!" (Y/n) ignored the gut feeling in her stomach pulling her from the situation and instead dropped her hands to her sides, making her fully vulnerable to any attacks.
"No, I am apart of Shredders family now. He takes care of me, loves me, ways you never did!"
(Y/n) opened her mouth to speak, but no noise came out.
(S/n) snarled, "Oh don't be too surprised, you knew I never belonged in that family, I am much happier-"
Leo was thrown into the two girls, bringing the three of them crashing to the floor.
Leo took a second to find his bearings before he jumped up. The Shredder was already making his way towards the group of teenagers, practically shaking with rage and aggression.
"Leo! We got Mickey, lets go!" Donnie buzzed in Leo's ear, a sound of praise as he was not doing too well against Shredder all on his own.
"Lets go!" He said urgently, turning his back to his enemy and offering (Y/n) a hand to her feet, but before she could even consider accepting it, a metal hook latched onto his shell and jerked him backwards.
"Leo!" (Y/n) exclaimed, reaching out as if she could pull him from the air and to safety, and Leo reached out as well,
"Gah!" He screamed as a knife surfaced through his shoulder, dark blood spilling down his arm and dripping from his fingertips.
"No!" (Y/n) exclaimed loudly, rushing for her wounded friend, but just as she took a step a cold hand gripped her shoulder and pulled her back, a familiar knife placed just over her throat.
"Now! Guards! Get this turtle to our labs!" Shredder bellowed quickly, the doors rattling as the guards attempted to tug it open, but it wouldnt budge.
"What is go-"
"Shredder I'm afraid our allegance is over!" (S/n) called, dropping her knife to her hip and pushing her older sister behind her protectively.
"What are you doing?!" (Y/n) hissed, squeezing her sisters shoulder tightly.
(S/n) looked her sister in the eyes sincerely, "Fixing a mistake"
"Are you sure you want to do this, (S/n)?"
"Positive"
Shredder dropped Leo to the ground as if he was dropping a dirty towel. Leo rolled to his uninjured shoulder and groaned, gripping his wound gingerely.
Shredder shook his massive display of knives loudly before charging at (S/n). (S/n) sprinted at the Shredder as well, meeting him in the middle of the floor, slicing through the air with such speed and agility (Y/n) would not expect from such a small girl.
Quickly, (Y/n) ran over to Leo and crouched in front of him, placing her small, feeble hand over his own.
"Its ok, Leo, I'm gunna get you outta here," she breathed, keeping a steady eye on the fight before her.
"Go! Donnie and Raph are waiting outside, you can climb down the manhole!"
(Y/n) stared at Leo for a moment to see of he was joking or not.
"Of course I'm not going to leave you! Now get your ass of the ground and lets go!" She yelled, lifting his muscular arm over her shoulder and helped him over to the sewer opening.
"Climb down, I'll be right behind you," (Y/n) looked once more at her sister, visually exhausted, her movements becoming slower and more predictable.
Leo placed his hand over (Y/n)'s cheek and turned her head towards him, away from the fight.
"Hey, look at me, you gotta leave her, she has chosen her path, you have a chance to choose yours, most people dont have that opportunity," he studied her eyes carefully, their faces so close (Y/n) could feel his breath over her rosy cheeks.
She only nodded, stepping back to allow him to climb down.
Leo hesitated, watching her carefully, before turning towards the ladder and climbing down with his good hand.
(Y/n) turned to her sister, mid-leap, her dagger in the air ready to finish the fight, but at the last second Shredder took his sword and plunged it through her chest.
"NO!!" (Y/n) screamed, tears streaming down her face as she sprinted towards her sister, who fell limply to the floor, eyes already flickering closed.
"(S/n)?" She asked shakily, stroking her face with her hand, blood smearing over her nose and mouth.
(S/n) smiled one last time at her sister before exhaling deeply, her eyes staring blankly off over her shoulder, no longer filled with life.
(Y/n) softly placed her sisters head on the ground and stiffled a sob, taking a deep breath as she felt Shredders eyes in the back of her skull.
He slowly moved towards her, his sword still dripping with the blood of her sister onto the rough, dirty tiles.
Before she could even think twice about it, (Y/n) grabbed her sisters dagger and drove it into a crease in the Shredders armor near his knee.
"YOU-" He bellowed, slashing his weapon at her but just barely slicing her back as he struggled to keep his balance.
"(Y/n) lets go!" Leo yelled urgently from below.
This time (Y/n) did so without question, dodging Shredders blows and sprinting to the manhole, practically diving into the sewer.
