A young boy laid in his bed as his mother tucked him in before leaving. But she was stopped by his voice saying, "Mother, can you tell me that story again?" She turned and pulled the chair next to his bed."Yes Timmy, I'll tell you the story once more, but this is the last time!" She pinched his cheeks with a smile. "It all started when I was 12 years old. I was out on the streets all alone with no food, no shelter, and no family, that wasn't until I met someone special"

Raphael yelled at the top of his lungs at his older brother, Leonardo, just for stopping him in the middle of a training with Karai. But Leo took it calmly and waited for Raph to stop yelling and to finally calm down. But that didn't go as plan when Raph came running straight up to Leo, throwing a punch at his brothers face. His anger was out of control this time, throwing the first hit at his brothers face which left a black and blue eye. Master Splinter came in the middle of the fight, pushing Raph to the side to protect Leo from anymore damage. Only blood came out of Leo's bottom lip from the theird punch.

"You should know better Raphael. Hitting your brother will not solve your problems. Sit down or walk away is the answer." Splinter watched as his son screamed before him, turned and running out the door to the surface to cool down. That was not Splinters plan.

Raph ran as far away as he could, trying to stay away from his family as long as he could. But hours passed and his family did nothing but wait. He just sat on the top of the roof watching the humans pass by with their fancy cloths on, talking, and enjoying their life more than he did.

A sigh came from him as his eyes shuttered from tears. "Why can't I be like a human? Walk around talking, having fun with friend's, even throw party's like Mikey would do?" Raph looked down at the puddle to see his reflection. "Why can't we be just like them?"

He stopped to hear a loud female scream coming from across the city. Raph stood up and ran towards the screaming. He came to a halt to find a young girl in the arms of two men and a third one walking up to her.

"LET ME GO!" She screamed "I said...BACK...OFF?" Raph watched as the young girl slipped from their grip and ran into the darkness, disappearing from his sight. Raph jumped down and ran to where the sounds of her footsteps were. She looked everywhere to find a hiding place, then turned to find a tall, dark figure that glared down at her with dark green eyes. Both of his sai's in his hands twirling between his three fingers.

"Oh my god!" She whimpered as he pulled her to the side, holding her with his arm wrapped around her wrist. Her teeth pushed down into his skin as she fled away from him. Raph looked down at the bite that the girl did to his arm, screaming in pain. He tried to forget about the pain as he walked around to find the girl, but soon someone tripped him, making him in more pain as he scratched his face with his sai.

"HA? Oh come one, you can do better than that man?" The man laughed as he looked down at Raphael. "Wait, what-what are you?" He slowly backed up in fright as the tall, dark figure stood up crunching his knuckles with frustration.

"I'm your worst nightmare." Raph scratched him across the face, making the same mark he had. "AH?" He hissed, falling to the ground as his men came to help.

"Oh come on, now I have to get this brat!" Raph complained as he followed her and soon jumped down behind the little girl. "Hey, don't be scared, I'm here to help you." The girl looked at him "What do you want from me y-youfreak!" She looked at him with fright.

"Hey, I was only here to help you and get you away from danger." Raph put his hands out for her to grab. "Think of me as Batman, okay!" He acted a little like Batman, someone who liked the dark and stayed in the dark.

"Hey, by the way, I'm Angel, don't call me little girl." Raph looked back to see the man who was holding his face and a weapon in his other hand, running up screaming as he shot at the two.

"Well, time for us to go. See you latter old man!" Raph grabbed the girl,jumping on the steps to the roof top. "Where do you live Angel?"

"I don't have a home" Angel looked at Raph then put her head down on his shoulders, ready to fall asleep.

"Then I'll just have to take you home with me" After a long walk, he made it home in time with everyone around a small table eating Pizza.

"Hey Raph, my man! how you doing!" Mikey said putting his pizza on Raph's face. "And...wow a girl!" Raph slapped Mikey gently across the face.

"No one is touching her" Mikey stopped and backed up. "Sure man sure," Mikey said. Raph put Angel in his bed, looking down at her as she slept peacefully. He could tell she was homeless and was about 12 years old. But he did not know everything about her, not yet, not till the day come's for the world to know the true secrets that lie beneath them!
