Leo had just gotten back from a failed mission. He was, obviously, really irritable because of it. You knew not to try and comfort him, due to what happened last time. However, you've definitely developed in character more since then, meaning that you were ready to stand up for yourself if he got mean. So, you carefully approached him. "Hey Leo," you muttered. He just groaned. "Leeeeeoooo?," you said, trying to be cute. You plopped next to him and sighed. "I had a pretty horrible day too ya know," you said. He rolled his eyes. "Not as horrible as mine," he replied dryly. You noticed his eye rolling, and didn't like it. Shaking it off, you crossed your arms. "Wanna talk about it?," you asked. He groaned again. Now feeling a little annoyed, you stood up in front of him. "Leo, every time you have a bad day, all I do is ask you if you're ok and if you wanna talk. Even if my day was awful, I just focus all my attention on you," you say, feeling strong. He just rolled his eyes again! Now you were mad. "Leonardo!," you yelled. Your outburst made him jump and look up at you. "When the shell, Leo?! Are you serious?! Rolling your eyes?! Really!," you yelled. His jaw dropped a little. "I didn't realize you were this upset," he said. You scoffed. "How could you not realize?! I told you flat out that my day was horrible! But what did you do, roll your eyes and growl at me!," you screamed. Ok yeah, you had a really bad day, and that's why you were in such a horrible mood. "Well I had a bad day too! And it's true, your bad day can't even compare to my bad day!," Leo yelled, defending himself. You growled, now. "You know what," you said, turning to walk to the door. Leo seemed worried now. "Where are you going?," he asked. "Well it's clear that no one here cares about my problems, so I'm going to find somebody who does!," you said. Leo's eyes widened. "Wait! (Y/n)!," he called to you. "I should have known better than to date a wannabe-hero, mutant, Space Heroes geek!," you yelled as you left the lair. Leo stopped in his tracks. Your words stung his heart, and he hoped that this was just a bad dream. He regretted not paying attention to your problems, but he also felt anger rise in his heart. The anger soon dissipated into just regret and sadness, though, and he just wanted to be alone.
