°~Replacement~°
Once more, you found yourself on the back of Jimin's Harley Davidson, riding through the city in a whizz. You held on to him tightly, closing your eyes.
And in that moment, you wished Jimin hadn't done what he did at the office. You wished Bora never existed. You thought about your future.
A flash blinds you momentarily, and you see Jimin and yourself sitting on a porch, holding hands and gazing at each other lovingly. The two of you lean closer to each other.
Closer... and closer...
Just before your lips could collide, you jerk out of the thought, the street lights invading your vision.
What the hell was that?
"Y/N."
You hear Jimin's distinct voice barely above the blazing wind.
"You're crushing me."
He says, glancing at you through the mirror.
You loosen your grip on him immediately, the creases in his leather jacket now catching your eye.
"S-sorry."
A deep chuckle vibrates through him, and you begin to recognise the place he was taking you.
"Why are we going to your house?"
You yell above the wind, leaning forward near his ear.
He remains silent until he pulls up the driveway. The lights in his house shine through the windows, and that's when you realize.
"Are you taking me to her?"
Jimin walks up the stairs, jerking open the door and waiting for you to enter.
The first thing you see is the silhouette of a woman skip down the stairs with a large smile. It drops instantly when her gaze meets yours.
"What's she doing here?"
You turn to Jimin with clenched jaws.
"Yes. What am I doing here?"
"Bora, you need to tell her."
Jimin says in a low voice, and Bora twists her mouth in disagreement.
"Tell her what? If you're asking me to apologize, I'll never d-"
"Bora!"
Jimin raises his voice, and she startles, her lips forcing shut immediately.
In all this, you stood silent watching back and forth between the pair.
"Jimin..."
You say, getting impatient.
He guides you to the living room and sits on the couch next you.
Bora sits on the single chair opposite you, refusing to make eye contact.
"I guess you now know what I meant?"
Jimin asks her softly, and she nods.
"It's only fair she knows.."
Bora says in a low voice, glancing at you.
"When I was young, I was disowned by my family."
She begins, and you're taken aback by the sudden statement.
"Why? Did-"
"Let me finish." She snaps, glaring at you.
"I was disowned because I'm lesbian. My parents were extremely homophobic, and couldn't look at me as their daughter anymore. They always favoured my sister over me in everything we did."
"I don't see the point in me knowing this."
You say, looking at Jimin. He sighs, placing a hand on your knee.
"Just... Just hear her out, Y/N."
He leans back into the sofa, folding his arms as his gaze never leaves Bora who kept her eyes fixed on her fidgeting fingers.
"J-jimin found me. I was only 16, robbed and beaten up. We've been together ever since."
She says softly, lifting her gaze to his, and he sends a comforting smile her way.
Your chest bursts into a burning flame, and you shift awkwardly in your place.
Why is she telling me this? I don't want to know their fucking romance story.
"Well, not long ago, my sister found me. She didn't care, but she approached me just to mock me, saying that she would keep an eye on me. I was afraid that she would tell my parents, and they'd find ways to put me through further hell now that my life was slowly coming back to normal."
Big deal, boohoo. I still don't get why I need to hear this.
"At least act like you're interested? I'm doing you favour."
Bora snaps, seeing your annoyed face. You sigh, nodding your head.
"Continue."
"So, my sister found a way to get the closest to me as possible.. and you."
You sit up straight at that statement.
"Me? Why me?"
"Because she hates the two of us more than anyone in the world."
"I don't even fucking know her."
"Come on, I thought you would've figured it out by now."
Bora chuckles, shaking her head.
"Y/N, Y/N.. Maybe this will help a little."
She leans forward, startling you as her lips graze your ear.
"My sister is now a replacement for your pathetic, bed-ridden brother Jeon Jungkook."
Your breath hitches, and you stare at Bora.
"Are you saying that-... do you mean.."
You stutter, your mind beginning to spin.
Bora leans back into the couch, staring at you with hooded eyes.
"Yes. My sister is Park Nari. Your rival, the girl that defeated you and put you where you are now."
Fishsticks and dogcrap. I'm fucked.
