Chapter 7- The Fight Against Father

(I finished it now it's not a cliffhanger! :) sorry for slow updates )

Erza's POV-

"I demand you let him go!" I yelled angrily at the Fairy King, my father. "He has committed a serious crime against the kingdom," he replied keeping a calm composure. "What? What did he do?" My voice was raised, " all he did was let me keep my freedom!" "You know what the did! He put you in danger," my father said sternly raising his voice, "you! The next fairy queen! If we lost you everything would become chaotic!" "No! He was just letting me be myself! You're the one who'd keeping me locked up!" I shouted. "Do not speak to me that way!" My father replied. "Why? Because you're such a mighty king, who keeps his subjects trapped within a kingdom?" I replied sarcastically, but in truth I was being serious. "I order you to go to you're room. Now!" My father demanded with rage. I glared loathly at my father before turning and leaving with my head held high. In some fights it's better to step down.

I walked down the long corridors to my bedroom. I jumped on to the bed and stared at the ceiling, letting out a long sigh. I thought about the earlier event that had conspired that day.

~ Earlier That Day ~

I had gotten dressed in a simple blue skirt along with a white shirt and some boots. I had planned to go out again despite my father's wishes. I was going out to the forest again. I wanted to see that human again, humans are so strange. I had seen humans before but something was different about that human. So I flew to my favorite forest clearing knowing it would be safe. But I was wrong.

I got to the seemingly peaceful clearing and sat down on a rock. I looked around, no humans. Humans rarely came there anyway but I wouldn't help but feel a little disappointed. I looked around the clearing taking in all the smells and how quiet it was compared to the kingdom and the noisy hallways of the palace.

After a while I decided it would be best to head back to the palace, I didn't want Simon getting in trouble again because of me. As I was walking back I could hear footsteps behind me. I looked around to see an enormous furry orange beast, a kitten.

Kittens are adorable, but deadly to a fairy. The kitten pawed at me as I dodged it's paws doing my best to not get pounded by the cute beast. I continued to dodge but the kitten was fast. It's paw continued to slam the grass and follow me as I flew. All I looked like was a toy to amuse it.

I had gotten closer to the kingdom and could now see it in the distance. I stopped mid air. If I go to the kingdom the kitten will wreak havoc on all the subjects. But where can I go? The kitten took the chance to at swat me, sending me flying a distance away. There were three slices on my arm from where the cat had scratched me. "Ow...," I moaned as blood dripped down my arm. I held my wound too distracted by the blood to notice the kitten getting ready to pounce.

I turned around to see the kitten mid air. I pain pulsed through my body as I was pushed to the ground. I looked up to see Simon. He quickly helped me up and started to fly. I was too shocked to say anything as I continued to fly with him.

We stopped at a bush and hid in it, so we could catch our breaths. "We need to distract it somehow," I said as my breath slowed to a steady pace again. Simon nodded, "what do you think we should use?" I looked around before an idea popped into my head. "My boot," I said as I took it off, "we could use my boot to distract the kitten." Simon nodded in agreement. "I'll get it's attention and throw the boot, disturbing it while you escape," Simon said. "No way. I'm not letting you do that," I said stubbornly, "I appreciated it but I can take care of myself." "Really?" Simon said, "with your arm?"

The bush shook as the kitten jumped onto it, searching for us. Simon quickly flew out distracting the kitten. "Over here!" He called out to it. The kitten's attention was completely directed towards him. The kitten was lured away from me as Simon teased it. The cat got in a pouncing position and got ready to strike. Simon is a general and all but he had the lesser hand in this battle. He definitely wasn't weaker than it, he just didn't want to hurt it.

I watched the kitten corner Simon. "Dang it," I said under my breath and took my shoe ignoring the pain in my arm. "Here kitty! Kitty!" I said trying to distract it. "Erza! I told you to get out of here!" Simon yelled. The kitten turned its attention towards me. "Here little kitty," I said again and got ready to throw my shoe. The kitten pawed at me for a while as I dodged.

As the kitten's energy stated to run out I decided it would be the perfect time to throw my shoe. I threw it at the kitten with force, before flying over to Simon and flying back to the kingdom with him.

~Back at the Palace~

Simon and I entered the palace and were immediately greeted by my father's fury. "Where were you!" He yelled with worry. "Father I'm sorry-" He saw my bleeding arm. "This is your fault!" He pointed at Simon. "What? No-" I began but was cut off again. "Send him to the dungeon now!" My father yelled angrily. "No! I was the one who went out!" I retorted. "First of all he should of been keeping an eye on you. Second of all he let you injure yourself!" He said and stood up.

Two guards had taken Simon down to the dungeon already. My father took a deep breath and regained his composure.

"I demand you let him go!" I yelled angrily at my father.

I sat up after a while and looked at my now bandaged arm. Knowing my father there was no way I would be able to convince him to let Simon out. And the punishment could be worse than I thought he might... No! He wouldn't do that. But he would. I have to find a way to save Simon. But how? I'll need some help. I grabbed a bag and started to fill it up with supplies. I grabbed my sword as well just incase something happened. I know just who can help.
