~Natsu~

I pulled on the chains with everything I've got....hoping....hoping that I would just break free! Just...please....My tears started to trickle down as I glued my eyes on Lucy.

"WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER?!?!" I shouted, completely covered in anger,and my adrenaline rushing through my veins. My blood was boiling and my fist clenched, tighter than before.

"She's just merely asleep. Let's wake her up shall we?", then I heard metal clanging together, and the lights turned to a big bucket just about Lucy's head.

"WHAT DO YOU PLAN ON---"

"Shut up Dragneel! Stop asking sh*tty questions about everything and just enjoy the show!" Then I immediately noticed, seconds before the bucket was tipped over, I saw smoke coming from it......It's steaming?? Then that means...

"NO!! DON'T!!" But my screams did nothing to change anything or to stop something from happening....Grr! If these damn chains could just...Ahh!! The bucket tipped over and the steaming water dropped on Lucy.

"AAAAHHHH!!!" Blood curdling screams came out of her mouth. It was painful for me to hear it, when I couldn't do anything for her.

"WHAT DID YOU DO?!?!!?" I was in the verge of crying so hard. My heart ached just to watch Lucy in pain, and I've caused pain to her so many times that my heart is already crumbling to what I've brought upon her. I knew that wasn't just some boiling hot water, no, it was something more dangerous and more deadly....Lucy.....I'm going to do something about this.

She opened her eyes and was twitching a lot of times. "Lucy!" I cried, tears already falling down my face.

She coughed. "I'm....a-alright....Natsu.." She smiled and wailed in pain as something stung her.

"I KNOW IT WASN'T JUST WATER!! TELL ME WHAT THAT WAS!!" I demanded angrily. Words cannot express the anger and contempt I'm feeling. I felt so useless and so worthless! Lucy....She's suffering for no good reason and I'm here hanged by chains while I watch her in pain and scream in agony, not doing anything else to help her.

"It's something I've concocted, do you like it? It'll sting for a while, but don't worry, it will be over soon." I tsked and my teeth grinned. Yes, I was crying and my veins were already embossed in my face in anger. "It won't be long, Dragon Slayer. Soon you can go with her outta here."

I stopped, but still had that pure hatred expression stuck on my face. "What...do you mean...?"

"You'll see." She chuckled maniacally then the large curtains that covered the windows were pulled, revealing the sun setting. I couldn't grasp the concept she wanted me to understand. I turned to Lucy who's smile just melted out and turned into a face full of fear and worry. What's happening? She was trembling, not because of the pain, but something else....

"No, no, no, no, Not yet! No, please! Not yet! Noo!" She started to struggling like a wild animal caged in a tight little space that wants to break free. "Please! Stop! Let me go! I...Ahh! Not yet!" She started to cry sorrowfully. She wailed in sadness and grief...what caused her to do this? What did they do to her?!?!

"Lucy...." I muttered, pitying her incomprehensible state. Both were crying and couldn't do anything to stop this grief on breaking both of ourselves. No, is this really the end? Will this suffering not end? "Lucy!" I called to her, but she kept crying. She was staring down and her tears were flooding down like a waterfall. So was mine. It hurts...It hurts so much...and I couldn't wipe the tears out of her eyes.....

~Lucy~

I couldn't take this! She knew about the spell that was casted on me....And now the day's about to end....I'm sorry Natsu....I cried my heart out, because this is the only thing I could do where I still remember Him.

"LET ME GO!!! LUCY!!!!" He kept calling, I looked up to him, seeing his crying face as well. It broke my heart...he was crying too....Natsu...I tried to fake a smile, but it fell down into a broken frown as the tears kept flowing. I couldn't even smile at the last moments I have when I still know him. I looked at the window and it was almost a matter of time until my memory'll get erased.

"Natsu..." I told him as I stared deeply in his teary eyes, and so did he. "I d-don't have much time left..........I should ha-.....have....told you this, but my time's running out...." I sniffed a bit, trying to stop myself from bursting into tears again.

"What?? No! Lucy! D-Don't you dare say those things!! We'll get through this together!!" He encouraged as his tears fell down his face.

"I'm....I'm so sorry, Natsu.." I cried. "It's not....It's not going to end that way...."

"LUCY! DON'T QUIT!!! I AIN'T LETTIN' THAT HAPPEN!!! NOT EVER!!!" He pulled on the chains, but nothing happened. We've been fighting for almost all our lives, struggling to make things right....but evil is something that couldn't be banished in the world by just ourselves.....

"You're damn right, blondie! Evil is something you could never get rid off, no matter how hard you try!" She laughed so hard. I turned to Natsu and he was pissed off as ever, his eyes widened and his grinding his teeth together out of anger.

"Natsu look at me!" I demanded him, but the trembling of my voice was still there. "Everything's not going to end as a happy fairy tale as it always did! And I want you to realize that there's something we can't do.......N...N-Natsu..." I cried and my voice was trying to wail heavy heartedly, but I bit my tongue, stopping myself.

"STOP!!! STOP TALKING!! YOU'RE SPITTING OUT NONSENSE!!!" He exclaimed louder than ever and I could see that his heart was being ripped into shreds by my words, but I couldn't forget about him, no, not until I tell him what I always wanted to tell him.

"I....Natsu....I-I love you!" I exclaimed and let out all of the tears I hid back. "I love you and don't you ever forget that! Promise me you'll never forget that! " I cried out, wailing my heart out. It hurts.....I don't like the feeling.....Please! Someone make this stop!! I don't want to feel my heart anymore!!

"L-Lucy..." He was dumbfounded and shocked at my words. If he may not feel the same, I don't care! I love him and that's all that matters. I told him this and I'm happy I could tell him that even if my present self will be no more in a few seconds... "I Promise....But I, Lucy......" He muttered softly, but hearable. "I love you too....So...So that's why...So that's why promise me that you won't forget that either and believe that we're going to get out of here alive!!!" He exclaimed and his words made me cry even more. Remembering that was something I couldn't do now...I can't promise him that.

"Promise me, Lucy!!"

I nodded, stiffly. "Yeah, I promise."

Then everything was gone....His expression was gone....is this it...?

~Natsu~

In the midst of Lucy's cry. She stopped and her head leaned forwards as if she was just a hanging corpse. "Lucy?" I called, but she didn't answer. "Lucy! LUCY! No! No! LUCY!" I cried. I knew Flare was watching me suffer all of this and I couldn't do anything but let her. She let my chains loose. I swiftly touched the ground from a high height and she loosened Lucy's as well. So I ran towards Lucy, who was falling and luckily caught her in my arms.

"My job here's done." She stated and the spot where my dead comrade's severed heads that was in the crowd disappeared, even the corpses. Then Flare appeared with a sly look on her face. I tried to process what the job she exactly did, but I remembered Lucy was in my arms.

"Lucy!" I shook her a few times, but still no reply. "LUCY! Wake up! YOU PROMISED ME THAT WE'LL GET OUT'TA HERE ALIVE!!!" Then after a few seconds, she coughed and slightly opened her eyes. I was confused why she wasn't so different now. Before this, her eyes were brown and Blue, but now they're both brown. And her hair wasn't glowing and shining. It was a bit dull than before.

"Are you alright??? Lucy???" I held her on the shoulder to keep her from falling down.

She looked at me with a confused and focused face. ".....Who are you....?"

I paused for a while, I was shocked and was curious, scared a mixture of hundreds of emotions flooding in me. I was scared of why she asked that question. "W-w...what are you talking about? It's me, Natsu. Remember? How can you forget?"

I got a but nervous too, her face was a mystery. She looked confused in a focused way. "I.....I'm sorry...."

I lowered my head, bursting into tear, wailing a bit. "Lucy...." I cried. "W-What....Happened....?"

"I'll tell you what happened to her." Flare came back with a dirty look on her face, as if she was angry at me. She then threw a little kid down to the floor. I noticed that the kid was a little girl, and not just any little girl, but Wendy!

"Wendy!" I called, but she didn't move. She was lying there on the ground. No blood. No wounds. No nothing. She looked fine.

"Wake up!" She ordered to Wendy and she did. Her eyes opened a bit and she rubbed it as if she just woken up in the beautiful morning sun. She turned to me and Lucy and was surprised.

"Natsu? Lucy? Where am--" She paused as she noticed her retrains. She couldn't move and realized that Flare was her puppeteer, and for how long? We don't know...

"Go on!" She ordered angrily. "Tell her what you did to Lucy!" Flare exclaimed at Wendy, Wendy seemed nervous and scared, but faced me with seriousness.

"Yes, of course." She replied. "Natsu, I'm sorry about Lucy.." She apologized. What....what's happening that I don't know of??

~Erza~

As Ivan left, I ran towards Mira, who was covered in blood and wounds. I kneeled down on the floor. I could care less at the blood that was sticking on my feet, the questions were still spinning around. Is she dead? Is she really dead? Is everything I see true? I stopped the tears from flowing down as I stared at their bodies, but when I touched Mira's face it suddenly disappeared, but I touched it and it felt real.....does that mean...?

I turned around seeing all of the corpses vanishing away one by one. "What's happening??" I exclaimed in a panic.

"Erza!" Jellal called as he ran to me and pulled me closer to him. With him behind me, Jellal covered my mouth and wrapped his arm around my waist tightly, pulling me even more closer to him. "Don't make any noise....." He said in a low deep voice. "Or your neck's going to come off like the rest of them..." Jellal chuckled in a way I've never heard him do before.

My eyes widen in fear. What's happening?? Then as I realized what happened to him, I gasped. This isn't Jellal.

"Who are you?!?!" I demanded in a shout. He tightened his grip on my mouth and waist that was a bit painful. This must be Obra...the one that took over Wendy's body before.

"I said Shut up!" His voice ordered loudly in a whisper. I started to tremble unintentionally, hands shivering in fear. What's going to happen to both of us...? I have to think fast if I want to escape from his grasps, but he's using Jellal's body.....What am I going to do....I kept thinking of a way and started to look around, seeing what I can use to pull him away from me.

"What....Do you want...?" I stalled, struggling to speak due to his grip that was getting tighter and tighter. How am I suppose to defeat them?? They seem to be ubiquitous and completely unpredictable. Unfortunately, this poor sucker's in Jellal's body. The most predictable guy I know. I laughed a bit in my confidence.

"What are you laughing about?" He asked, pissed off.

"You know you really shouldn't do that." I scolded. He seemed to be confused...........and that's what I want him to be. I looked down at Jellal's foot that was tapping down on the floor. Gotcha! So even if he's completely in control of Jellal's body, Jellal's habits are still in him. And he's nervous, and when Jellal's nervous, he can't do anything right!

He chuckled as if he has the victory already. "Don't you act all brave. I can feel fear, and you can't hide yours from me."

"Really? Is that so? But still, acting all powerful is cute. Kidnapping me was stupid, and dragging me all the way here was just insane..........But taking over someone like Jellal was the most and undoubtedly the worst choice to to take over."

I looked at his foot and it was still tapping, a bit quicker at his pace now. "Why you ask?" I chuckled.

"Because!" I jumped over him and landed right behind him and I quickly wrapped both my arms around him and did a German Suplex! Yes, I said I couldn't hurt him, but I don't think a simple German Suplex could hurt that big guy. Nope, not him.

"Gaah!" He exclaimed in pain.

"Oh!" I smiled. "I'm not finished! Are you gettin' out'ta him or not?" I glared at him with a sadistic glare, hoping it'll scare him off of Jellal.

"Don't act so highly just because you can do some petty tricks and stunts!" He couldn't move since I was pinning him down with my foot and hand, retraining him, fingers digging deep in his neck. "Ah!" He exclaimed in pain. "You don't want to hurt the body of your friend, now would you?" He threatened with the same sadistic smile I have.

"Was that a threat I hear...?" I tried to scare him.

"Nope." His smile grew bigger and it made me a bit nervous and curious to what he was planning inside his mind. "This is." Then he swiftly took the dagger from Jellal's belt and placed it on Jellal's neck. "Now step away or he's gonna die." I tsked and walked away, releasing him from my grip.

"That's a good girl~" He teased. "Oh! Don't look at me with that smug face. You got a lot of anger in 'ya don't you?"

"Just what the hell do you want from us?" He smiled. I couldn't take him seriously with Jellal's face and voice. It felt like it was the tower of heaven all over again.

"Ah! But the true question is, what do you want from us?" I raised an eyebrow. I prepared myself for what is to come. This guy's a sly one. I need to save Jellal....but how...?

Hey minna! I apologize for not updating last week. I just got home from a retreat in MMRC, which is a really amazing recreation center, and I was completely exhausted so I didn't have anytime to write. I hope this chapter made up for the long wait you guys had.

This guy was smart and I couldn't let my guard down for one second. What can I use...? I looked at the ground and back at him, over and over again. Luckily, I found few things that could be helpful to me a BBQ lighter, a few screws, epoxy and a drill. Yes, I could use the drill to defend myself, but it's too risky to get close and attack. So, I ran away, hoping to find some sort of kitchen here. Any flour, milk and water. I grabbed the BBQ lighter, the screws, epoxy and the drill and sprinted away, then opened doors from doors.

I came across a wooden door where, it was finally, a kitchen. A dirty one. I ran inside, hearing soft footsteps from afar. It's probably be Obra, so I have to hurry. I opened every drawer, cabinet, every container to find milk or flour. Of course they have it. I dropped the things I got on the table and started my search with the things I need. When I found it, I rushed to the table to mix the flour, milk and water, making it a strong alternative for glue. Then I opened the lighter, taking out the wires and getting the container inside of it.

I heard the footsteps getting louder and louder, I knew he was getting closer. So I tried to be quiet.

"I'll eventually find you,Titania." Then his laugh echoed through the walls, sending a chill up my spine. I need to hurry! Hurry!

~Natsu~

I stood up to hear her explanation, carrying Lucy in my arms.

"The old Lucy's dead now, Natsu. And there's no way we could ever bring her back..." Wendy explained heavy heartedly. Saddened by the news, I kneeled down to the ground, shocked as my eyes widened in disbelief. No....It's just a lie! No.......
