Big Three Fight
At breakfast Percy told me about his dream. Annabeth arrived at a dark cave-like place. She saw Luke pleading for help. He seemed to be lifting up some sort of dark, heavy ceiling according to Percy. She helped him. Luke transferred the burden to her. But he left her with the heavy ceiling almost collapsing on top of her. I almost flipped and flamed the table when he got to the part. When we shared it with Grover he told us that Zoe Nightshade seemed to have a similar dream. Apparently Artemis was kidnapped near the same place Annabeth was.
"Who could kidnap her?" I asked him.
"I don't know. Kronos?" Grover suggested.
"No way. Could he be that powerful already?" Percy asked.
"Well considering the fact I could barely handle being in his presence a few months ago-"
"Yeah but you're a demigod. We're talking about a full-fledged goddess," Percy interrupted.
"I know that. And I am offended! How dare you sass me like that!" I yelled at him. I brought my hand down on his cheek. That left a burning red mark which I healed quickly.
"Guys back to the point. Don't you think it's weird, you having the same dream as Zoe? It's almost like-"
"They're connected," Percy and I said together. Then I looked toward the forest. Which reminded me...
"Oh! I gotta go! The nymphs are waiting for me," I started to run.
"Clair! Seriously? With a situation like this?" Percy yelled at me. I looked at him.
"You have no idea how moody they can get! See you later!" I turned back around toward the forest. And when I arrived the three nymphs appeared. I smiled. "Hey Rose. Lily. Juniper," They all smiled at me.
"You ready?" Juniper asked. She was the nicest of the three. I nodded and got my Demeter magic. Last year the girls grew really fond of me always tending to their trees. They appreciated me for that. They haven't had this ever in their entire lives. I just grew close to three certain nymphs otherwise I would be swarmed with nymphs everytime I went to the forest. I didn't want that to happen.

That night after dinner we all gathered at the forest. I had my bow out and my quiver slung on my back. The Hunters didn't say anything to me. Just wary glances. But they were too distracted. It seemed like Zoe told them about her dream. Percy took defense while Thalia took offense. And all the others would decide when the game starts.
"Percy this is so awesome!" I heard a voice behind me. It was Nico. He had a blue feathered helmet over his eyes while the armor was hanging loosely onto him. I had to stifle a laugh. That reminded me of Percy the first time we did Capture the Flag. I looked at Percy. He was smiling. Nico lifted his sword with effort. "Do we get to kill the other team?" Nico asked.
"Nope. Sorry Nico," I knelt.
"It would be so cool if we like resurrected if we were killed so we could keep fighting and-"
"Nico this is serious. Real swords. These can hurt," Percy said sounding like Ms. Jackson come to think of it. I raised my eyebrow at him.
"Hey it's cool. Just follow the team and stay out of Zoe's way. We'll have a blast," I pat Nico's shoulder. Then looked at Percy and raised my bow.
"Call me if you need me. I'll be anywhere," I said to him. He nodded. I called on the wind and flew off into the forest without being seen. I've always done this during every single Capture the Flag. I haven't gotten into trouble yet. I stopped in some tree branches using it as a cover. I heard Chiron's speech. He can be really loud sometimes.
"Heroes! You know the rules! The creek is the boundary line. Blue team-Camp Half-Blood-shall take the west woods. Hunters of Artemis-red team-shall take the east woods. I will serve as referee and battlefield medic. No intentional maiming, please! All magic items are allowed. To your positions!" he yelled. I smirked. This was going to be an interesting game. With my eyesight I could see the team plant the blue flag at Zeus' Fist. It's just this cluster of boulders that look like a huge fist sticking up out of the ground. I waited for anybody to start running toward the flag. The offense and the decoy teams have already left. It's just me and the guard now. Then the first group of Hunters came. I loaded three arrows and shot. They were normal arrows. Nothing special. I got all of them right in the back. 'So much for the Hunters,' I thought. Of course they were immortal. They didn't collapse. They just acted surprised. They all yanked my arrows out of their backs and looked straight at my tree.
"You!" One of them yelled. I dove out of the tree and started to weave around the tree trunks trying to escape the silver arrows flying toward me. Then I felt an arrow right in my left shoulder blade. A wave of pain shot through my back. I reached behind me and pulled it out. I looked at it. And I recognized it.
"Ha! A Stun Dart?" I looked at the Hunters and stood.
"How are you still standing?" the girl yelled. I smirked and tossed her arrow aside.
"I'm immune to Stun Darts. Bye!" I yelled as I flew through the forest again heading toward Blue territory again. Hunters were crowding. I shot arrow after arrow. Not many helped. Most of the time I was dodging. One time I got shot out of the air but I managed to catch myself landing on a tree. I jumped from tree to tree then jumped up over all the Hunters that were shooting at me. I landed just as I saw Zoe with our flag in her hands over in the Hunter's territory.
"The Hunters win!" Chiron announced without pleasure. Then he muttered, "For the fifty-sixth time in a row."
"Perseus Jackson!" Thalia yelled, storming toward Percy. She was so mad that blue sparks flickered on her armor. Everybody cringed and backed up because of Aegis. But I wasn't staring at the shield. "What in the name of the gods were you THINKING?" she bellowed. I saw Percy ball his fists.
"I got the flag, Thalia!" He shook it in her face. "I saw a chance and I took it!"
"I was at their base! But it was gone! If you hadn't butted in we would've won!" she yelled back.
"You had too many on you!"
"Oh so it's my fault?"
"I didn't say that,"
"Argh!" Thalia pushed Percy and I saw a shock go through him sending him into the creek. Campers gasped while the Hunters stifled laughs. I didn't even flinch. I just stood there gripping my bow standing next to Chiron. Thalia paled. "Sorry! I didn't mean to-" A wave erupted from the creek dousing Thalia from head to toe.
"Yeah. I didn't mean to either," Percy stood up.
"Enough!" Chiron shouted. But neither listened. Then I started to have a weird feeling in my gut. I caught the faint scent of serpent in the air. And I realized what was going to happen.
"Chiron," I said. But he was paying attention to the two demigods having a battle.
"Thalia!" Chiron yelled. But Percy sent another wave.
"You want some Seaweed Brain?" she asked not paying attention to Chiron.
"Bring it on Pinecone Face!" Percy yelled back.
"Chiron!" I yelled. Thalia sent a lightning bolt hurtling toward Percy making him smoke. That got him even madder. I got two transparent magic orbs on my hands and threw them at both of them. They grew encircling them. Even if the walls were white and slightly transparent they were strong because of me. They were banging on the walls. I closed my fist tight maintaining the strength of the orbs. "Enough! Both of you!" I yelled. I heard my voice echo throughout the whole forest. They both stopped and looked at me.
"Claira! What are you doing?!" Both of them yelled at me.
"Both of you shut up! You two are pointlessly fighting over a loss of a game, a freaking game, while I'm trying to warn Chiron that-" then the edges of my vision turned green. Serpent green. My arm fell and the orbs dissolved. I stood up straight. Everybody's eyes were on me. Then they turned to something behind me and gasped in shock.
"This is impossible. It... she has never left the attic. Never," Chiron said very nervous. I turned as well and against my will started walking toward her. The Oracle was shuffling toward us. She stopped in the center of the group and I stopped next to her.
'I am the spirit of Delphi. Speaker of prophecies of Phoebus Apollo slayer of the mighty Python,' only the Oracle spoke. No words came out of my mouth. Yet. The Oracle regarded my brother then turned her attention to Zoe Nightshade. That was when I spoke.
'Approach seeker. And ask,' I felt my mouth move and my distorted voice rang out. Zoe swallowed.
"What must I do to help my goddess?" she asked both of us. I saw the Oracle's mouth open and green mist poured out. I felt my head turn to the mist and my hand rose. I saw it in front of my own eyes in front of the mist. The same color green glowed at the end of my hand and an image appeared in the green smoke. It showed Artemis wrapped in chains. She was kneeling her hands raised and it looked like she was in pain. Then the Oracle and I spoke together as one:
Five shall go west to the goddess in chains
One shall be lost in the land without rain
The bane of Olympus shows the trail
Campers and Hunters combined prevail
The Titan's Curse must one withstand
And one shall perish by a parent's hand
Then I felt my hand rest against my side and the mist retreated back into the Oracle's mouth. Then she sat down on a rock as still as a statue as I felt my eyes close and all I heard was, "Claira!"
