Welcome to TitanVerse
He was the Guardian of the gates, the final journey judge and jury of the underworld. He was Death. He'd rather be called Reaper or Sans.
His sibling while also Guardian was the gentler Death, those who guided children's souls. Here Reaper envied his sibling, for he never had to judge souls and he had seen the best and worst of those that joined the ranks of the dead.
It was just so.. dreary.
Asgore king of the Gods did not help, he was as the mortals said... a dick.
Do this... do that! Excuse me, I'm trying to do my duty!
Revive this mortal without the trials of life!
It was a great chore keeping the balance of the end going with there demands.
Reaper did not know why the mortals served the gods, there were so superficial living to the hype of the mortals myths.
They we're not myths, but the other God's seemed to be in a haze.
The raven winged god stood leaning against a marble balcony watching Asgore hold 'court', or rather become drunk and hungover and the mortals prostrated at his feet.
Disgusting.
"Once upon a time, he was kind" a voice said softly beside him, he looked over to see Life walking over. His counterpart, and once upon a time Asgores spouse.
His constant cheating and the loss of there only child had driven them apart, Asgore had not fought to keep the Goddess at his side.
"Tori" he greeted, her mouth frowned as they watched as Asgore slapped a human for spilling a single drop of wine. They did not get up, and Reaper could tell that by Nightfall this mortal would be gathered by himself.
"I do not remember it, must have been before Death was born in mortals" Reaper said, for as soon as Death was tasted he and Grim had awoken. Till then the mortals had been like playthings to many of the gods, Dolls.
It was the first time a God met Death also, as a God's greed had called upon a Titan who ate them.
Alphy's had formed from the remains of the last God of knowledge, and while they did not remember there former self they feared the titans greatly.
"It was, he courted me and loved me. His eyes did not stray, and he treated the mortals.. well not exactly like they had free will but at least not disposables" she sighed.
Together they walked away from the court, not wanting to watch what Asgore would do next.
Protesting would unfortunately go nowhere.
There forms glowed and they stood in life's temple, Mortals bowed and skittered away as they saw her Guest God was Death.
"Come, I was hoping you could help me" she said with a tired smile, and led him deeper into the Temple grounds where Mortals Guests could stay.
"I didn't realize you had a mortal guest" Reaper said with a grin.
"Its safer for him here," she said knocking on the door and stepping in.
The taste of a vial curse filled the air, the owner of said curse turned a single eye light towards the Death God.
"Your late"
