I needed an excuse to use this photo sooo... Here it is... This is kinda Some Leo and Annabeth friendly bonding because I think they would be friends.

Leo worked for hours trying to make a phone that wouldn't alert monsters. During that time, he kept thinking. Which, probably wasn't a good thing. That depends. He thought about why his life was so messed up. Why his friends don't care about him. Why any of this happened. Then Annabeth walked in.

"Hey Leo! How's it coming!" She said excitedly.

"I can't figure out how to do this one part. It's really frustrating." Leo grumbled.

"Ohhh. Yeah I know how that feels. What part can't you figure out.?" Annabeth asked.

Leo then started explaining (in full detail, might I add) what was wrong. By the end of it, Annabeth looked thoughtful.

"Okay, so your saying it you can't keep it from sending a signal to monsters right.?" She questioned. Leo nodded.

"Have you tried using a different signal? (I have no idea how to build a phone if you can't tell. Or anything involving mechanics.)"

Leo nodded and sighed.

Annabeth was nice. She spent a lot of time with Percy but didn't tell him to shut up as much and actually kind of understood what he was talking about. She was fun to hang out with too. He talked about mechanics with Annabeth sometimes.

"Okay... I got nothing. Ummm... Have you tried talking with your siblings?" Annabeth asked.

Leo felt stupid. He facepalmed. "Why did I not think of that! I've been spending hours trying to build a monster proof phone and didn't ask my siblings!" He exclaimed. Then, he thought of and idea.

"What if, instead of building an entire phone, I just built a chip that stops the signal from going to monsters?" Leo said thoughtfully.

"That's a good idea! It would look cooler to have the phone but the chip would probably be more practical. You could also make customized phone cases for them." Annabeth replied, nodding slowly.

"Thanks Annabeth!" He called over his shoulder as she walked off.

"No problem!" Annbeth called back.

Leo smiled. This is one of those times he questioned whether his friends actually didn't like him. But he was still tired.

I know this had nothing to do with the story really. Just some friendly fluff. But I like the idea of Leo wondering if his friends bactually ignore him or not. Next chapter will probably have some sad stuff and stuff that more related to the plot. Mmmbyeeee!!
