How do I come up with an effective book title

1. Be Original

It's hard to have an original book title when there are over 1,000 of writers and over a million books! But try your absolute hardest to think up the most unique title you can, you can also check out the search bar on Wattpad to see if someone has used the title yet. It's always best if only a few people have the same title.

2. The Shorter The Better

No one likes a mouth full when they're looking for a book to feast their eyes on. It's best if you stick to 1-4 words, titles longer are just too much. There is always a way to shorten the title and even make it better, shorter titles are easier to remember anyways.

3. Synonyms

Sometimes there are words for titles that are used over and over again, you should try looking up words that means the same thing. And who knows? Maybe you'll find a better word than the one you originally wanted.

4. It's In Your Writing

Sometimes there's a clear theme in your book or even a word that perfectly describes what your book is about. Or even holds a secret. Looking over the theme of your work can really inspire you to think of a title.

5. Have Your Cover Connect

Being that this is a app and visuals are very important, it would be a good idea to have a nice cover that goes well with your title. Don't listen to the saying, "Don't judge a book by it's cover" because that doesn't count for an app that counts on looking for a book to read. Sometimes covers can be deceiving, it's always best to put in all the effort you do for your story and title into your cover also.

6. Last Resort

If you still seriously can't come up with a title yourself you can always go to the internet and look up ideas for book titles, there's no shame in that. :)
