Ok guys I got this new thing called a lazer pointer and I want to try it on Oranges. According to YouTube it makes cats go crazy.

Merry: Is that a good idea? She's sleeping next to Pippin right now and she might claw him.

I think it'll be funny. He might scream.

Frodo: I'm staying out of this. *leaves room*

Merry: Smart hobbit. I actually want to see how this plays out though so I’ll stay.

Where's Sam?

Merry: I don't know, somewhere.

Oh well, his loss. *sneaks toward Pippin and Oranges on the couch*

Merry: *watches from a safe distance*

*turns on lazer pointer and points it at Pippin's foot*

Oranges: *perks up and crouches*

Pippin: Oranges what-?

Oranges: *pounces on Pippin's foot*

Pippin: *screams and leaps backwards*

HA! Told you he'd scream! *moves lazer pointer around*

Oranges: *chases it*

Pippin: WHAT IS THAT THING AND HOW DID YOU HYPNOTIZE ORANGES!?

It's called a lazer pointer and this is hilarious. *moves lazer on Pippin's feet again*

Oranges: *pounces on them again*

Pippin: *screams and runs*

Merry: *laughing hysterically*

Run Pippin run! *continues to keep lazer on his feet so Oranges chases him*

Pippin: Why would you listen to her Oranges?? Why??

Because she's my Bfff.

Merry: Don't you mean Bff?

No I mean Bfff: Best Furry Feline Friend.

Pippin: Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! *jumps on top of counter*

How the Ringwraith did you make that jump, it's above your head?

Pippin: Its called fear.

Merry: Well hobbits can always surprise people, I guess they can always surprise other hobbits.

Oranges: *is sitting staring at unmoving lazer dot*

Pippin: Why is she chasing it?

I have no idea. I saw other cats chasing them on YouTube and I got one to try it.

Merry: Maybe she likes the color?

Pippin: Can you stop making her attack my feet? I'd like to get down from up here.

Now will you admit that she likes me more than you?

Pippin: You're cheating using modern magic or something. She doesn't like you she likes the dot.

Oranges: *becomes bored with unmoving dot and begins rubbing up against Erin's legs*

HA! She does like me better!

Pippin: Cats do that to everyone! Also I'm stuck on the counter so she can't rub against me!

*bends down and picks Oranges up*

Oranges: *purrs*

*smirks up at Pippin*

Pippin: Oh I give up! *lays facedown on counter*

Merry: I think you can come down now.

Pippin: *glares suspiciously at Erin* You won't put the dot on my feet again right?

Fine ok I won't.

Pippin: Good. *gets down from counter*

*moves dot to Pippin's chest*

Pippin: What-?

Oranges: *jumps on top of Pippin and knocks him to the floor*

Pippin: AH YOU SAID YOU WOULDN'T DO THAT ANY MORE!!

No I said I wouldn't put it on your feet.

Merry: Technically she's right.

Pippin: I YIELD! ORANGES LIKES YOU MORE!

(Pippin: You know I was lying so you'd turn off the lazer Pointer right?

Erin: Yeah, but it was still nice to hear you say it, because deep down you know it's true.

Pippin: NO ITS NOT!)

*turns off lazer* Thank you.

Pippin: *stands up holding Oranges* Man Oranges is scary when she attacks.

Yeah.

Pippin: Wait so she has attacked you before? Maybe she doesn't like you better.

Only once, and I was because I was taking out the cat treats and she got excited.

Merry: Hey can I try the lazer pointer?

Pippin: NO!

A bit of a filler chapter, but oh well.

I really like the idea of Pippin owning a cat.

I like it a lot.
