[Kyle POV]

Moments later, we wake up, dazed and blurry. I then look around to see that Olivia, was nowhere to be found.

"They took her..." I say.

"Well, we have to find her." Says Katie.

"Now why would they capture her, I thought they wanted her dead?" Asks Arthur.

"Apparently they want her alive, but for what reason, I don't know." I say.

[Olivia POV]

I then wake up, what looks like an office room, I could not tell, because my vision was blurred. I then see that I am trapped in a chair, handcuffed to the arms. I then look over to my right, and I see the two creeps that captured me, talking to each other. My vision then fades out again, but when it comes back in, I see a mysterious man, with curly hair, staring at me.

"Hello... You must be Olivia Sparks, the Prime Shifter." The Mysterious Man says to me.

"Who the hell are you?" I ask him.

"Me, I'm just like you, I'm a shifter. I have been watching you for a long time." He says.

"Where am I?" I ask him.

"My home, I brought you here for a reason." Says The Mysterious Man.

"Why do you have me confined to this chair?" I ask, trying to stay awake.

"Precautions Ms. Sparks, precautions had to be taken." He says.

The mysterious man then walks towards his two thugs.

"These are my colleagues, Eric Bane and Danica Shadows, you've met them before." The Mysterious Man says, while his thugs look on.

"Why did you send them to kill me?" I ask him.

"At first, I wanted to kill you, but then I came to a realization." He says.

The mysterious man then leans in towards me, with menacing intent.

"I've come to realize that I need your help. You see, a long time ago, my mother was a friend of your parents, they were business colleagues, worked in the CIA, just as you would. One day, my mom was killed, saving their lives from a stray bullet. I was left, without a mother to raise me." The Mysterious Man explains.

"What does this have to do with me?" I ask.

"After my mother's death, I came to the revelation that she was a Shifter, just like your parents. So, I went to your parents, pleading with them to reverse time, so that I can save my mother, but they said no. It would be the biggest mistake they ever made." Says The Mysterious Man.

"You... Killed my..." I say, with a sound of shock.

"Yes, I killed them. I am the one whom you have been looking for, ever since you were in the CIA. My name is Deckard, Owen Deckard." He says to me.

"You son of a bitch..." I say with anger in my voice.

"I am truly sorry, but I had no other choice." Owen Says to me.

"You owe me a life, you bastard!" I shout.

"And your parents owed me my mother's life!" He shouts back at me.

"Now, the way I see it, since I killed your parents, you are responsible for helping me now. I need you to help me save my mother." Owen says.

"No, I can't do that..." I say to him.

"And why is that?" Owen replies.

"One, you killed my parents, two, even if I agreed to help you, I can't change the past." I say to him.

"It doesn't matter to you if you go back five years, you are the Prime Shifter, you can break the rules." Says Owen.

"Well I hate to break the news to you, but I am not the person you're looking for." I say to him.

"Then tell me, why are you stronger than most Shifters?" He asks me, sternfully. I then stay silent, avoiding the question.

"I thought so. You have a choice, either you help me save my mother, or I will kill you and your friends and I will do it myself!" He says to me.

"I will give you 3 hours to think it over." Says Owen.

I then hear a voice in my head, talking to me.

"Olivia, can you hear me?" I then realized that the voice belonged to Kyle.

"Yes, I can hear you Kyle!" I reply.

"If you are worried that Owen is listening in, don't. I put up a psychic barrier between you and Owen, he won't be listening to us." Says Kyle.

"Where are you guys?" I ask him telepathically.

"We're inside the penthouse, three floors down from your location." Says Kyle.

[Arthur POV]

We walk into the main lobby, where multiple security guards begin to surround us.

"FREEZE!" one of the guards says.

"Funny, I never liked cops..." I reply.

I then proceed to attack one of the guards, breaking his arm. We then hide behind the walls, trying to avoid their gunfire.

"You just had to break that guys arm huh?" Asks Corona.

"We were in a hurry." I sarcastically replied to her.

"What do you say we end this debacle?" I ask Corona.

"Gladly." She replies.

Corona then slows down time, and I begin to set up the guards for a few, embarrassing moments. With the first guard on my left side, I take his fist and I make him punch himself. The second and third guards near the doors in the back, for them, I simply levitate two pieces of stone, and I put it over their heads.

For the final six guards, I punch each of them in the face, and I place a force field in the middle of the room.

"I always loved doing this." I say.

Corona then snaps her fingers, and the flow of time returns to normal, allowing the guards to be decimated by the explosion of the force field.

"Well, that was smashing." Says Corona.

"You always plan ahead, it keeps you alive, keeps you from being reckless." I say.

We then go inside the elevator, and onward towards the third floor, where the rookie is being held captive.

[Olivia POV]

"They're here... You guys take care of this, I will be here with our new friend." Owen says to his flunkies.

"Now Olivia, I gave you three hours, but now that your friends are here, I want your answer right now." He says, pointing a gun to my face.

"I don't think you want to do that Owen." Says Kyle, telepathically.

Kyle and the others then appear before him, from out of thin air.

"Hello Owen." Says Kyle.

"Well now, this just got a lot more interesting..." Says Owen.

"I know why you want to take the girl, but saving your mom will only make things worse." Says Kyle.

"You were always lecturing me, just like the old days." Says Owen.

I then look at Kyle with a confused look on my face.

"You two used to be friends?" I ask.

"Yeah, but we had a falling out." Says Kyle.

"Falling out, I call it more of a civil dispute." Says Owen, who still has a gun to my head.

"I don't understand..." I say.

"Deckard's only reason for joining our team, was to bring back his mother." Says Katie.

"And all of you denied me that right! I don't care about what happens to the world, it is a dark and desolate place, this world can fall apart for all I care." Says Owen.

"You are clouded by your own rage, your mother wouldn't want you to..."

Owen then cuts him off by saying, "Do not, say a word about my mother!"

Kyle then approaches Owen, and he tries to reason with him.

"You have one chance to surrender, let Olivia go, or I will put you down." Says Kyle.

"Yeah well, it will be a while before that happens, I am always two steps ahead of you." Says Owen.

Danica and Eric then teleport into the room, and they begin to open fire, on Kyle and the others.

"Consider this a gift, for turning your back on me!" Says Owen.

Arthur and Corona, then teleport behind Eric and Danica, quickly grab them, and then they teleport out of the room.

"Katie, Joshua, get Olivia out of here!" Says Kyle.

Kyle then gets stabbed in the shoulder, and he is kicked over and over while on the ground.

"Kyle!" Kaite shouts.

Katie then shatters the handcuffs, and she takes my hand.

"No! I can't leave him!" I say.

"We have to!" Says Katie, who teleports me along with Joshua.

[Owen POV]

I then look at Kyle, trying his best to get up. He was always quite persistent.

"I can't have you standing in my way, I will find a way to save my mother!" I say.

"Not gonna happen..." Says Kyle.

Kyle then tries to attack me, but I block his punches and kicks, countering him with a full mount. I then lock him in an Armbar, but he kicks me in the face, breaking the hold.

Kyle then levitates me and he flings me around the room, sending me crashing into walls. Kyle then teleports towards me and he tries to hit me with a punch, but I trip him and I brutally pound him with telepathically charged punches. Beating Kyle into submission, I then drag him away, setting up a new plan.

[Olivia POV]

Me, Joshua and Kaite then teleport to the roof of the penthouse. Where we see Corona and Arthur fighting Danica and Eric.

"Guys, a little help would be nice!" Says Arthur.

I then charge at Danica, who is fighting Arthur, I tackle her, and we both fall off of the edge. As we are free falling, we punch each other in the face. I then teleport us to a field, where there is nothing but empty school busses. Danica then kicks me into one of the empty busses, and she shoots a grenade into it, making the bus explode.

"So much for the 'Prime Shifter'." Says Danica.

Suddenly, I appear behind her, and I kick her in the face, knocking her off of the top of the bus. I then jump down, and I slam her, telepathically, into another bus. While Danica tries to collect herself, I put her in a Sleeper Hold. I can almost feel the air leaving her body, she then grabs a piece of wood, that was lying on the ground, and she hits me in the face. She then takes out a knife and she tries to stab me, but I block the attempt, and I flip her over, using my feet.

Danica then tries to attack me with the knife, twirling and flipping it between each hand to confuse me, but I managed to block her every attempt, I then use a force field to send her flying into a street lamp.

"Watch your back bitch!" Danica says.

She then attempts to crush me with a bus, but I teleport at the last minute, causing me, Danica and the bus to be teleported in mid air. As we are falling, I slow down time, and I managed to get inside the bus.

Danica then speeds up time, attempting to kill me as the bus falls. I then use my strength to levitate the bus, and I freeze it in place. Danica then dives into the bus, and she tackles me. Every time we move, the bus begins to rotate, at fast speeds, causing us to fly around, with no gravity. Danica then suddenly traps me in a Rear Naked Choke, but I grab her gun, and I shoot her in the kneecap. I then teleport out of the bus, and I allow it to fall to the ground.

When the bus explodes, I assumed that Danica was dead, but I then feel a gunshot go through my chest. I then fall to both knees, feeling the wind escape my body.

"Bet you didn't see that coming." Says Danica.

I then realized that she teleported at the last second, before the bus hit the ground.

"Good night, sweet princess." Danica says, while pointing her gun at my forehead.

I then close my eyes, and I reverse time, two minutes before Danica shoots me in the back. I then disarm her, by snapping her wrist, and I shoot her in the head.

"Bet you didn't see that coming bitch." I say, mocking her.

I then teleport back to the others, who are still having a firefight with Eric.

"Where the hell were you?!" Asks Katie.

"Had a little set back!" I reply.

Eric then tosses a grenade, but I quickly teleport us to saftey.

"Holy Shit, that was close!" Says Joshua.

"Where are we?" Asks Arthur.

"We're back at our hideout." Says Katie.

"Yeah, but we are short one person." Says Arthur.

"We shouldn't have left him there, I should have helped him." I say.

"Olivia, Kyle risked his life to save yours." Says Kaite.

"Well that's because he believes that I am something I'm not." I say.

"What do you mean?" Asks Corona.

"I'm not the Prime Shifter guys." I say with dissapointment.

"No, that can't be true, you have to be." Says Corona.

"I'm not, I'm just a normal Shifter." I say.

"So you're saying that we dragged you into this world for nothing?" Asks Arthur.

"Yes, take it however you want it..." I say, before going into my room, leaving everyone in dead silence.
