[Olivia POV]

I fall at rapid speeds, closing my eyes, hoping that I would die quickly. Suddenly, my body begins to feel a rush of energy, as if it was my soul trying to escape. The energy that I felt, sprinted through my body, like a current. A whirling field of arua then wraps around me and I vanish in thin air. I then reappear on top of the roof, where Kyle is.

"What the... Holy shit!" I exclaimed.

"Beautiful, wasn't it?" Asks Kyle.

"Yes, dangerously beautiful." I reply.

"You have much to learn about your powers." Says Kyle.

"I'm still having trouble wrapping my head around this." I say.

"With time comes acceptance, with acceptance comes truth." Says Kyle.

"Meaning?" I ask, with confusion.

"In time, you will see for yourself." Says Kyle.

2 hours later, I am in my room, lifting weights, while thinking about my revealed heritage, and my newfound status as a shifter.

"My family, protected me from the truth about my grandfather, but they were really preparing me for a life that I was not expecting. A life of protecting the world, through the essence of time." I say to myself.

I then exit my room, only to find Joshua, working at his computer station.

"So, all you do here is work at your computer table?" I ask him.

"No, this isn't all I do, but it's what I like doing the most, except for long walks on the beach and video games." Joshua says, while I chuckle.

Arthur then asks me, "So, where are you from?"

I then reply, "From down under, born and raised."

Arthur then says. "Wow, Australia. I've been there, had a great exotic vacation, good food, great people, it was nice."

"So, where are you from?" I ask Arthur.

"I was born in New Zealand, but I was raised in London. My old saint of a mom, used to be a Tailor, she used to make the best suits and dresses you would ever see." Arthur replies.

"If there is one thing about my mom, she would put her heart into her work, if they did not like it, she would say, 'Well, take it or leave it, that's what you asked for.' She was a no nonsense woman." Says Arthur.

"Well, how did you become a Shifter?" I ask.

"My mother was born as one, but she had no idea." Arthur replies.

"What happened to your mum?" I ask.

"She died of natural causes, it was a heartattack." Says Arthur.

"I'm sorry." I say to him.

"Thanks kid." Says Arthur.

"What's that you're making?" I ask him.

"Your Timewatch. It will help you focus your time powers." Says Joshua.

"So this piece of jewelry, keeps our powers in check?" I ask.

"Yeah, but if what Kyle says about you is true, when the time comes, you won't need it anymore." Says Joshua.

"I have a question, if we reverse time, do we change a certain portion of the timelines course?" I ask.

"Yes, which is why we only reverse time back at least five minutes. Any further, we risk changing the future, and altering the past." Says Joshua.

"So, we come in to prevent those who threaten the as a whole, past, present and future?" I ask.

"More or less, but even if we do things according to plan, somethings still do change in those five minutes." Says Joshua.

"Thus case in point, time is tricky." Says Corona, who walks in unannounced.

"Olivia, I need you to come with me, we need to work on your time powers some more." Says Corona.

Corona then takes me to a shooting range, near the back of the warehouse.

"Here, put this on. It's a Timewatch that you can use for this assignment." Says Corona.

"So, what is this assignment all about?" I ask.

"Shifiting." Corona replies.

"Shifiting?" I ask with curiosity.

"Shifiting, is one of our abilities, it allows us to bend time to our will." Says Corona.

"You already know about our time watches, it helps us focus and control our powers." Says Corona.

Corona then hands me a Glock .40 automatic handgun.

"So what do you want me to do?" I ask, looking at the gun.

"When we shift forward, we can predict the outcome, by slowing time down, the same thing happens when we shift backwards. We can only shift back and forth five minutes, any further we risk changing history." Explains Corona.

"That's not what I asked." I say.

"It's simple, I want you to avoid gunfire, by controlling time." Says Corona.

"You can't be serious." I say.

"I am, just don't think, feel, take in your surroundings." Says Corona.

I then see several machines, with pellet guns, and they begin to shoot pellets at me. Two pellets hit me, but I take cover behind a wall. I then close my eyes and I feel a pull that takes my body on a ride, as if I was being magnetized. I then noticed that I went back one minute before the pellet guns fired at me.

"I am, just don't think, feel, take in your surroundings." Says Corona.

As soon as the pellet guns activate, I close my eyes and I see that everything is slower in motion.

I then shoot at the pellet guns, and I return the flow of time back to normal. The bullets then impacts the pellet guns, destroying them in the process.

"Well done, you are showing progress." Says Corona.

"Thank you." I reply gleefully.

[Kyle POV]

Olivia is showing a lot of progression as of late, she really has grown strong over the past couple of days. I have a feeling, that she is the Prime Shifter, although she still has doubt about that fact. Once I take her to see him, I'm sure she will be told, what she needs to hear. When I go over towards Olivia's door, I hear music that begins to play, it sounds beautiful, tranquillity. I then knock on her door.

"Come in!" She says.

I then see a keyboard on her lap.

"Hey, what was that?" I ask her.

"What was what?" She replies, with a question.

"The piece of music you just played." I remind her.

"Oh, that's nothing, it's just something I hear in my head." Says Olivia.

"Can you play it again?" I ask her.

Olivia then plays the musical notes again, she is very good, a natural in fact.

"Are you a music lover?" I ask.

"You could say that. I am a fan of art, and freedom of expression." Says Olivia.

"I used to teach music at a University in downtown L.A, and from what I can tell, you would have been at the head of my class." I compliment her.

"Why thank you, that's very sweet of you." Says Olivia.

"You should get some rest, you're going somewhere with me tomorrow." I inform her.

"And, where exactly would that be?" Asks Olivia.

"You'll see..." I reply to her.

As I walk out of Olivia's room, and I go over to the training area to meditate. For my entire life, I have been searching for the Prime Shifter, now that I have found Olivia, I believe my search is over. Once I take Olivia to see him, I will be certain that she will be told, everything that she needs to hear.

The next day, I take Olivia out on a walk, there are still some things she needs to know.

"As I told you before, when the previous Prime Shifter erased us from history, he did it to make sure our legacy would be protected." I say to her.

"So, if we get exposed, what happens then?" Asks Olivia.

"The Government would either conduct experiments on us, trying to turn us into objects of war, or kill us, preserving the human race. Some people fear, what they don't understand." I explain to Olivia.

"Then, why do we protect these people, that will eventually try to wipe us out?" Asks Olivia.

"There are far more greater threats out there, than the simple minded Governments of the world, threats that want to destroy the very existence of time itself." I explain.

"Like who exactly?" Olivia Asks.

"Shifters like us, who choose to remake the timeline in any shape or form." I say to her.

"I can tell you this Olivia, your parents died protecting you from other Shifters. They knew that if you would reach your full potential, you would be more powerful than you can ever imagine." I say.

"How powerful?" She asks me.

"Well Olivia, you will see your true strength soon enough." I reply to her.

When we get back to the hideout, we see that Joshua has built a dome in the courtyard.

"What is that?" Asks Olivia.

"That is the next step of your training." I say to her.

"This is the Sim-Dome, I made it so you can advance your training." Says Joshua.

"So, how does this thing work?" Olivia Asks Joshua.

"Don't worry, I'll talk you through it." Says Joshua.

Joshua and Olivia then go inside the dome, and she is amazed by the design of the interior.

[Olivia POV]

"Jesus Christ, this is amazing!" I say to Joshua.

"I know, get at me!" Says Joshua.

"In the middle, there is a VR chair that will take you to a simulation, your goal is to just simply survive." Says Joshua.

I then sit down on the chair, and I then ask, "So what now?"

Joshua then replies, "I get out of here."

Joshua then gets out of the dome, and he stands behind a control mechanism of some kind.

"Are you all set?" Asks Joshua

I then nod my head yes, and Joshua inputs a code, that transports me to a Meadowy field. As I wandered around the field of flowers, knights clad in black armor surround me.

One of them tries to attack me, but I quickly duck and I take his sword. I then look confused, as to how I did that just now. When another knight tries to attack me, with a swing of his sword, I block it with my sword and I decapitate him.

I then quickly block all of the Knights incoming attacks, then I follow it up by cutting their heads off in record time.

"Oh my, that was bloody brilliant!" I say to myself.

"I think she likes it, you want to keep going?" Joshua asks me.

"Shit yeah! Shit yeah..." I reply.

For 7 hours, I fought inside the dome, improving my powers and abilities. I felt like I was free inside there.

[Kyle POV]

I look at Olivia's training stats, and they are off the charts.

"Nobody has excelled in training this fast." I say.

I then go towards the balcony, to talk to Josh.

"So Josh, what do you think?" I ask him.

"Man, for 7 hours straight, she's been blazing through every simulation like it's nothing." Says Joshua.

Olivia then steps out of the dome, with her clothes torn and tattered.

"You look like shit." Says Kyle.

"I guess that's what happens when you train like your life depends on it." Says Joshua.

"I need a shower... A long hot one." Says Olivia.

"You deserve it, after what you just went through." Says Kyle.

I then show Corona and Arthur Olivia's training stats, and like me they are stunned.

"If what you say is true, and she is the Prime Shifter..." Says Arthur.

"I know she is, but she still has some trouble believing it." I say to them.

[Olivia POV]

As I take my shower, I feel the water soothing my skin. It was exactly the thing I needed, after the 7 hours of training. I then wraps around towel around me, and I go into my room. I then hear a knock on my door, and Arthur brings me some fresh clothes.

"I figured you would need some fresh garments." He says.

"Thank you." I reply.

"You are pretty impressive, you completed the training courses faster than anyone else has." Says Arthur.

"Thanks, but I am still adjusting to my abilities." I say.

"It's alright, every Shifter is different." Says Arthur.

"Make sure you get some rest, Kyle is taking you to see him in the morning..." Says Arthur.

I then ask Arthur, "See who?"

Arthur then simply says, "The Time Shaman."
