We swerved to a stop and I was tossed gracefully off Izukus back as we arrived in front of two small children. We've been able to time our landing much better ever since training together. It was in the middle of the woods, I could see their shambled home a few yards down.
There was a man clutching one of the small children, the boy, by his shirt. The bigger girl was banging against his leg.
"Don't worry." He shook the girl off his leg and raised the boy higher. Lifting his left hand. "I'm not going to kill him."
"Please. Don't!" The boy cried.
"No! Stay away from him! Deku! Help!" The girl cried for help. That's all it took for Izuku to rush in from our hiding place and snag the small boy. I rushed in behind him and grabbed the girl, his sister I presume.
"Stop!" Deku shouted when we reconnected. "Why are you targeting those kids?"
I stood with my back facing Nine, getting ready at any moment to leave with Izuku's call.
"Stand aside." Nine commanded.
"That's not gonna happen. I'll have to k*ll you if you're in the way." I turned around to face him with his hand raised. Palm extended, air gushing out. Making it extremely difficult to move around.
"It's an invisible wall, y/n!" Deku called out to me.
"No duh, like it's made of air." I shouted back.
Nine squinted his eyes, scanning me. "Lasers from his fingertips. Those two Quirks don't seem like they're related. He almost reminds me of... All For One."
I wipped out my pocket watch the moment nine switched to lasers. He aimed them at me and the two small kids behind me. I ricocheted the bullets back at him as Deku did close hand to hand combat.
"Delaware Smash. Air Force!" He screeched.
"Weaponized blasts of air. An interesting use of your Quirk" nine mocked him. Our eyes met as he through out different quirks at deku. How many did he have again?!? I'm loosing count... "Interesting. This Quirk. I think it's worth stealing."
He firmly grasped Izukus face. Trying to suck out all of his powers. Deku scratched at his hand and arm.
I took a few steps away from the kids and launched my watch at the villain. It hit him square in the jaw.
He launched deku back with a gust of air. His head cracked towards me.
'Okay that's my Que to get the fuck out of here—'
I scooped the two small kids up and fucking booked it.
"Mister Deku!" The girl cried, she the sky darkened and she glowed. I hopped onto the branches up above to try and hide our bodies. The forest was thicker than ice spice. Both kids in either hand. I had vivid flashbacks of Eri and my heart dropped.
"Why are you running?" They asked.
"We can't leave him!"
"Somebody, please!"
"You have to go back and protect Deku!"
I saw red, orange and blue in the distance. I quickly sped up. It got closer to me and I saw two approaching figures. I passed by Bakugou and Todoroki. We grunted as they flew past me to help Izuku.
I on the other hand, rushed towards my classmates who were waiting on the other side of the forest. I quickly explained to them what was going on when behind me, a wave of red exploded.
The two kids continued to blabber and stammer about Izuku.
Even when I got them to a safe area with the remainder of class 1-A.
"Y/N?" Uraraka asked as she took the small boy from my arm. "Where's Deku?"
"He's back there fighting a villain..."
"Are these the kids Bakugou was talking about? Ribbit." Tsu asked.
"It's got to be, they match his description." Mina agreed.
Uraraka snapped my attention back onto her. "Y/N! What type of villain?"
"I don't know, he had a bunch of different powers—" I started.
"He was all mean and big!" The girl cut me off. "He held Mr. Deku with his hand and and and!"
The city went black. It didn't help that we were already in the middle of nowhere with the sun setting. The kids let out a shriek.
"The city's going dark!" Mina cried.
"A blackout?" Tsu asked.
"What's going on?" Denki asked.
Kirishima turned to me. "It doesn't matter what's going on, we need to get these kids out of here and go in to help midoriya."
We split up. Me, Kota and invisible girl rushed to get the children to some type of Medicare help as the rest went to help bakugou and Izuku. Tenya, and some went to help out innocent civilians caught in the blast.
Everything moved so fast I didn't even realize how much time had past. Was it four hours? Six?
The group was able to chain up a villain that was chasing after the children and brought Izuku and Bakugou in, unconscious.
I sighed, half of me felt bad for leaving him behind, but a mission is a mission.
"They haven't regained consciousness." Uraraka's lips quivered.
"Not yet. The doctors from the clinic are doing everything they can to heal them." Toji explained.
I sat next to both of the boys, analyzing their bodies. I watched as countless doctors checked in on the boys, and eventually they woke up.
Usually things go back to normal after they awake but... not this time.
We're in deep shit.
"Here's the current situation." Our class present muttered. Bumping into the edge of the table but he continued to walk back and forth in between the twos bedding. "Communications are down and the electrical grid is destroyed. We can't call for help. I made a drone earlier. It'll send an SOS message once it's close to the mainland. But the flight is at least six hours. Plus, even after someone comes across it, the heroes will need time to assemble and travel to us. In the meantime, I doubt the villains are gonna sit around and wait." he bumped Into the table again.
"Oh my god, Iida! Take their beds with you??" Mina sneered as the tank almost ran her over as well.
He continued on, " Right now, our top priority is to protect the people of the island. If that means fighting villains, so be it. Yeah, but how?"
"Ghe one guy beat up Midoriya and Bakugo so much that they almost didn't survive. Four of us took on the beast. And that wasn't enough. And our numbers are dropping." Mineta rolled his eyes.
"Yeah, Yao-momo and Kaminari both used up a lot of their Quirks already. Yay. We know there are at least three villains left, but there could be more." Denki agreed.
Ojiro pipped up, "If they attack us together, we probably don't stand a chance. It would help if we knew what the villains were after."
"Mm-hm. Then we could come up with a plan." Uraraka sighed.
We waited a couple more minutes before the pair finally woke up. Startled, but they did wake up. Bakugou and Deku both explained to us what's going on, who our new villain is and the moves we have to make in order to advance.
The air was heavy. I could see everyone's minds racing and gears shifting.
As the sun set and the time trickled, everyone slowly drained out the small infirmary room.
Leaving just Bakugou, me and Deku.
"Hey....Y/n?" Deku broke the silence.
"Wazzup?" I asked. Lifting my head from my armrest. The pair looked between each other and me. "Oh for fuck sakes, what now?"
"Well...Kacchan?"
Bakugou groaned loudly and kicked his feet off the bed. Exposing his grippers. He walked next to me, "Do you have a photo of your father?"
"Oh." I was taken aback. "I mean, unless you've got a dilf fetish—"
"Give me the photo, bitch."
"Damn!" I threw my hands up and opened my wallet.
There was a photo frame of a young me on my parents laps. It's just a simple wholesome photo. Nothing wrong with that.
Deku quickly rushed up and looked at the photo. They looked down at me and up at the photo.
"It's him..." Deku'a breath hitched.
"Who?"
"The villain we faced agains." Dekus eyes peered into mine. "Your father."
