The journey begins for the trolls

John Dory took the wheel as they started taking off. Poppy and Floyd decided to explore more of the ship while Branch was up with John Dory learning how to steer the ship.

''Alright John here is the map we just go straight until we reach where the wreck is.'' Branch replied.

''I'm aware Branch but thanks.'' John Dory smiles.

''So, what else can you tell me about my someday sister-in-law?'' Asked Branch.

''Well, she has a beautiful voice, it was what drew me to her, and she has the best laugh ever.'' John Dory smiles fondly.

Poppy and Floyd came back and over to them.

''So, what are you guys talking about?'' Asked Poppy resting her arm on Branch's shoulder.

''John here is telling me stuff about Enya.'' Branch smiles.

''Ahh I can't wait to meet her.'' Poppy smiles.

''Yeah, she must be special for you to start searching again.'' Floyd replied leaning against the rail.

''Yeah, she was... I was going to bring her back to see grandma and Branch but... it didn't work out.'' He sighed.

A few hours later Branch took over steering and Poppy was up there sitting on the deck chair keeping Branch company.

Floyd was helping John Dory make food.

''Thanks for coming along Floyd. It feels nice not to be the only single guy here.'' He smiled at his brother.

Floyd and John Dory looked out the window and saw Branch and Poppy giggling assuming they were flirting.

''No problem. Besides I got nothing to do and its nice to spend time with my big brother and little brother. Believe it or not John I am a sappy hopeless romantic.'' Floyd smiles.

''I believe it.'' John Dory smiles. ''So how are things with you and Boom?''

Floyd turned red. ''He's fine I guess why?''

''Just curious, I noticed the way he was looking at you during the tour.'' John Dory pointed out.

''Oh, he's just a friend. Besides this is about you and finding your lost love.'' Floyd replied.

''Yeah, I doubt we will find anything but it's fun to explore.'' John Dory replied.

''Well looks like the food is done.'' Floyd replied.

He walked to the meal room and went up to get Branch and Poppy.

John Dory set down the roast he had made, and he was thinking of him and Enya.

Flashback....

John Dory and Enya had been traveling and they came to a spot to camp and eat. There was a fire as Enya was roasting some berries and John Dory smiles moving to sit next to her and wrapped his arm around her as she leans into him.

''You know somehow the moonlight makes you look like a beautiful goddess.'' He flirted leaning towards her.

She giggles and turns her head kissing his lips as he cups her face and presses against her as she felt her hand go limp and she pulls away. ''John your gonna make me drop the food.''

He then moves to kiss her neck and she shivers as she felt him take the stick she was holding and places it down and places his other hand on her cheek as they makeout and the food was burnt.

Flashback over....

John Dory came back when he saw a pink hand in front of him.

''John JD!'' Shouted Poppy.

''Hey Poppyseed, I'm coming.'' He replied.

''You, ok?'' She asked concerned.

''Yeah, I am.'' They went back up.

They sat down while Branch was still steering.

''I'll relieve you Branch when I'm done.'' Poppy called.

''Ok no worries, babe.'' He winks at her.

''He takes after you John Dory.'' Poppy laughs.

''Well I mean us brothers did have a big impact on him as a baby.'' John Dory answered eating.

Later John Dory finished and took over so Branch could eat and Branch sat down to eat while Floyd and Poppy were talking.

''John Dory seems different.'' Floyd replied.

''Of course he is, he's thinking of his true love that he lost and wondering when he is going to see her.'' Branch replied.

''Maybe so.'' Floyd stood up and cleared the table.

Branch and Poppy helped and worked on the dishes together and later that night they were at the steering wheel.

''You ok Poppy?'' Asked Branch looking at her as she was quiet.

''Yes I am, but I got a question Branch.'' She replied.

''Yeah? What is it?'' He asked.

''What if we can't find Enya? How will that make John Dory feel? I mean I know we will but in the worst case what if we don't?'' She asked looking at him.

''Then I will be trying to find ways to make it up to John Dory.'' Branch replied as he took her hand.

''Why are you pushing this so hard? It's not like you to get involved with someone love life especially John Dory's.'' Poppy pointed out.

Branch put the ship on auto and turned to Poppy taking both of her hands. ''Well since being with you I guess I've turned into a soft, hopeless, romantic and being in love with you makes me feel all kinds of feelings that I never knew I could feel in love and well I want every troll to feel how I feel when you and me are together. If we had what John Dory and Enya had and I lost you I would search the whole world until I found you again.'' He confesses.

''Branch you'd do that for me?'' She asked almost tearing up.

''Yes I would.'' He kisses her.

She kisses back. ''I would do the same.''

John Dory was about to go relieve Branch and Poppy when he heard them talk and he smiled and felt proud and happy his little brother was doing this to give him what he was feeling and it made John Dory miss Enya so much.

He went up. ''Alright I get first shift, Floyd will be next and we will end with one of you.'' John Dory smiled.

''Alright. Night John Dory.'' Poppy hugs him and left.

Branch smiles and hugged John Dory. ''Night bro.''

''Night Bitty B.'' He called.

He had a feeling tomorrow was going to be crazy.
